Pet Sitting My House or Yours!

We are dog lovers and have had dogs all of our lives. As a family we have also worked in dog rescue for quite a while, so have really dealt with a lot of personalities in our home. We love our dogs like they are our kids. We'd love to provide the same love to your pets while you are away. Leaving your pets can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. We are happy to come to your house so they don't have to be disrupted. We would be happy to come and let them out a few times a day or stay overnight with them. Your fur kids will be treated like our own. Or they are welcome in our home where we treat them like one of ours. Both my husband and I are certified in pet first aid and CPR. I have 2 kids that are 23 and 20 (college) at my house so not really kids anymore and my husband at home. The kids help out when they are home on breaks. My husband and I provide the care both in our house or yours. We have 1 lab mix and 1 newfie mix at home who do well with other dogs. We will typically take and additional 1-3 dogs into our house at a time. We work as a team to provide care for the dogs in our home. We love to share the experience as a family. I do work full-time outside of the home, but my husband works from home if he is not traveling for business. I have a fenced yard and dogs who welcome visitors. We play with the dogs outside and they love to run and play in the yard. Since the dogs get a lot of exercise outside, we do not walk the dogs while in our care unless you want to pay additional for walks. If you have us stay at your house, our rate includes an overnight and for us to come back once during the day to let the dog out during the day. We will usually get to your house after dinner, will leave in the morning and then come back mid-day to let the dog out and then return again after dinner. My husband tends to be the one one who does overnights. Our overnights are NOT 24/7, so if you are looking for someone to always be with your pet, we can not provide that. Please note that we do not do doggy daycare at our house. We also will not stay in houses all day due to work and other commitments. Our dog sitting is an overnight service (see above) and not meant to sit in homes during the day. Please note that weekday dog walking and drop-ins during the day may not work for us depending on work schedules. We do our best to accommodate, but it can't always happen. We love spending time with all of the furry kids we've had the chance to meet. Whether it's our house or yours, they are loved. Give me a call or send me a message and let's chat about how we can help you! We'd love to get to know you and your fur babies!

Christine is absolutely fabulous! We have a 9 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. She is terrified of storms and on drop off day there was a big storm. Which made her way more unsettled, plus being in a new place. Took about 24 hours of the 4 days for our dog to get acclimated. Unfortunately, she even pooped in her house which she’s never done with us or any other sitter. We chalked it up to her being scared and nervous. Christine was so patient and understanding and willing to still watch her even though she had an accident and wanted nothing to do with them the first 24 hours. Our dog eventually came around and opened up. Christine sent texts, and videos through the days and kept us up date today. Seriously, could not be more thankful to have found them!

Christine and Jim were great with my Maine Coone Freyja! Very pleasant couple who are caring and easy to work with. We would recommend them to anyone.

Before bringing a dog to my home or going to theirs, I need to know how they are with other dogs. I would like to be aware of any behavior issues or any medical issues that need to be taken care of as well. If the dog has had an aggression issues I would want to know that as well.
