About: I pet it all of my phones and families dogs whether it’s from short visits to letting the dogs outside to go potty or overnight stays. I have been doing this for over two years now, but it’s been a lot more frequent over the past two years. I have always loved dogs. In fact I have two big dogs one purebred German Shepherd and the other dog is a great Pyrenees mix. I am working with Rover now because I’m trying to be able to afford an apartment for myself and just take care of my basic necessities. About: Just moved back in with my two retired parents. We have a big unfenced yard with a 50ft dog run going from the front porch to a tree. Growing up we’ve always had dogs and I have my own dog in adulthood for 9 years now. But, who can ever get enough dog time in their life, am I right?! I would love the opportunity to walk more dogs either by them selves or with my dog Maggie whom loves meeting new dogs herself and is very friendly. We would also love to dog sit or board, if dog sitting I could bring my dog Maggie along or leave her with my parents if that’s the preference. About: I am a life long animal lover with a rabbit of my own. I grew up with multiple dogs my entire life as well as taking care of pets of friends and family since i was in high school. Kim was a life saver for us! Our pups do not do well in kennels and are not dog friendly, so having Kim do drop-in visits throughout the day was a total lifesaver! Our one dog has a reoccurring tummy issue that happens few months, unfortunately this happened while we were away. Kim helped keep an eye on her, and even cleaned up when she got sick. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
