I love walking and playing with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I also love cuddling with kitties—or letting them come to me once they deem me worthy. I have been through adult beginner training for dogs aLike your dog, I can’t get enough walks. Before moving back to my native Wisconsin, I hiked about half of the Appalachian Trail. nd have received one-on-one instruction from an animal behavioralist. If you need someone to reinforce your canine commands, I’d be glad to help. I am a professional writer with lots of flexibility. I spend much of my day waiting for phone calls and inspiration. Then I spend more time summoning the will to commit words to paper. Animal interaction is a welcome break.I’d love to procrastinate with your pet!

I would recommend Paul. Our 3 fur babies were well taken care of and Paul was great about sending pictures and updates. He is definitely on our list to use again!
Paul did an amazing job watching our pup! He "warned' us that he would try to exceed our expectations, and no question he absolutely did. We loved all the updates with photos, and the numerous offsite visits to parks was so fun to see. So comforting while we were such a long distance away. We'd recommend Paul to anyone!
Paul did a wonderful job again caring for our two dogs while we were away. He promptly arrived at the scheduled times, gave them a lot of attention, and kept us updated with notes and cute pictures. It was great to know our dogs were being well cared for!

Schedule
I am “hybrid” so have more availability Thursday evening until Tuesday morning. Friday through Monday I am much more open and have more flexibility, as well.

A typical day
I like to take dogs for short walks and give them the attention they need. With cats, I take my cues from them. In both cases, I “listen” to the animals’ “nonverbals” before acting.

- I am open to any special needs your pet has—as long as you alert me about them first. I have a good deal of experience with “reactive” dogs. However, I need to “meet” them first and will only work with them if they allow me to approach them after 30 minutes.
