“This was, I think, the third time that Debbi performed drop-in visits for our shy cat, Sophie. She had always done a great job, but, this time, went above and beyond, having to deal with a blizzard. She had to shovel her way into our house, and almost got stuck when trying to drive to her next job. It also has been typical for Sophie to vomit and stop eating when we are away, and Debbi suggested putting on "CatTV" to keep her distracted. Whether or not this was the answer, something helped, as no vomiting, and good food intake, this time around. We really appreciated Debbi's care, and would definitely use her again.”

About: Currently, I am a mom of two purr babies. Penny is my 8 year old, long-haired, orange tabby. Sundae is my 7 year old calico. They are both so sweet and great with our whole family. I also care for my neighbors' and friends' cats while they are working or out of town for a weekend getaway. They can rely on me to feed their cats, give pill medication, if necessary and clean litter boxes when needed. I have given nail trims, as well. Some of the cats I care for, even like to go out on walks with me. I enjoy spending time with them and appreciate the sweet head rubs against my legs showing affection and trust.

About: I have been a cat owner since the mid 1990's. We currently have four cats in our family. Louise, our most recent addition, was found abandoned on the side of the road. She needed to be bottle fed for several weeks and also had some health issues related to malnutrition and parasites. She is now a happy and healthy kitty! I am comfortable administering medication, am an expert litter box scooper and am not fazed by hairballs or other unexpected messes. Nothing makes me smile more than hearing a loud purr or sweet snuggle. As a mom of 6, I am used to chaos and can handle problems with compassion and patience.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with golden retrievers, and in my high school years a husky/lab and jack russell/cattle dog mix. I have a dog myself now as an adult; she's a border collie and jack russell mix named Nala. I am happy to help other pet owners as my schedule allows! I am also open to cats. I work full time 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. I have some availabilitya after work, and on weekends. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or are interested! About: I grew up with 2 cats, Buttercup and Tigris. As well as looking after multiple of my neighbors cats while they were out of town. Tigris, unfortunately had advanced heart disease, and required 6 pills delivered by hand each day, so I am expierenced in cats that require daily medicine. Currently, I have 2 cats, Bronco and Pointsetta. Pet care is a massive part of my daily routine, I wake up and play with my cat. Then I feed him 3 small meals per day on a specific schedule. In my home I make sure there's nothing on the counters, that Bronco is not able to get in any drawers or cabinets, and I check with the vet if I have any questions. When I take care of my parents cats, I make sure Tigris (the sick one) gets her medicine either crushed up and fed to her or by pilling her if necessary.

About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. Throughout my childhood I helped care for thousands of dogs, cat, rabbits, and even a handful of lizards and snakes. I am well versed in animal behavior, safety, and empathy! I am new to the world of personalized in home care, but hope to gain your trust and grow my experience. I am a homeschooling mom of one 6 year old (who LOVES dogs!) and our schedule is very flexible. We have a 3 year old animal friendly Australian Shepherd who we walk daily within our neighborhood, on the interurban trail (5 minute walk away) and run off lease on the beach when there's no one around! My 6 year old is very animal empathetic, and is always learning behavior and cues from our own Aussie. Having a high energy household, I understand the importance of plenty of time spent outside. We live in a large, upper, 2 bedroom apartment and can easily accommodate temporary space for one or two more pets (of the same family). We have a park with an open field for playing ball, and the interurban trail are both a short walk away. We have plenty of green space around our building for shorter potty breaks. I have a large Ruffland crate available for your pets use.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was a kid- everything from German Shepherds and Great Danes to chihuahuas! While I don't have any formal training or education, I have always been around animals and learned a lot through personal experience. My husband and I rescued our five year old chihuahua from a rescue agency in West Virginia and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It taught me a lot about the dedication, love, and patience it requires to make a rescue feel safe and comfortable. She is currently the only pet I have, but my family also has two chihuahuas so it's always fun to get them all together! I also have experience taking care of sick/elderly dogs. I lost my soul dog last year who suffered from heart failure and required nearly 24/7 care. I am a registered nurse with a background in cardiology, so it really hit home for me. Anyone that knows me knows my unwavering love for animals, especially dogs! I am currently taking a small hiatus from my nursing career so my availability is open at the moment. I am available on weekdays or weekends. Afternoons are preferred, but I don't have a set strict schedule and can be pretty flexible. I recently moved into a house where my dog finally has her first own backyard which has been such a joy to watch! I love basking outside in the sun with her and never leave her unattended. Around the house, she has plenty of spaces to cozy up and make her own. Whether it's walking in the neighborhood or staying around the house, I am always on high alert and aware of my surroundings. I enjoy keeping the gang busy outside, on nature hikes & any adventures you can think of to tired them all out. I’ve been on both sides of doggie-sitting and love the convenience of sharing in the comforts of home rather than a kennel. My family loves welcoming new pets into our home—we treat them as our own. I am happy to follow all routines your pet is used to, communicate throughout the day and share pictures! I do request that we do a short meet & greet ahead of time so to make sure that all get along—must work well with kiddos. Our golden is a big baby so she will probably just lay on her back with her tail wagging. I work part-time as a substitute teacher and my husband works from home-- we're rarely gone more than a few hours a day. If your pet likes vehicles, they’ll just tag along with the crew on the few occasions we’re doing pick ups. I have over an acre of yard to play in! My golden is trained w an electric fence, but we also have a long line to keep your pet safe when we’re not out. We have a golden, so your dog would join in daily walks and belly rubs. The dog is just another family member in our crew! We never let our visiting dogs left out unattended and either stay on leash or tethered while we’re outside.
