“We asked Christine to do twice-daily drop-in visits with our timid little cat, Sophie, for four days. Christine was initially only able to catch glimpses of Sophie, yet still sent photos to reassure us that she was surviving. By the third day, Sophie was rubbing up against Christine's legs, and by the last visit, was actually requesting petting from Christine. Christine sent us Rover card updates with each visit, and spent a great deal of time with Sophie, even though I'm guessing that Sophie was doing her best to avoid her, much of that time. This was the first time we had left Sophie alone, and we were more than assured that she was in good hands with Christine. We would definitely use Christine again, and can highly recommend her.”

And I’ve loved going above and beyond to care for them, for as long as I can remember. About: Currently, I am a mom of two purr babies. Penny is my 8 year old, long-haired, orange tabby. Sundae is my 7 year old calico. They are both so sweet and great with our whole family. I also care for my neighbors' and friends' cats while they are working or out of town for a weekend getaway. They can rely on me to feed their cats, give pill medication, if necessary and clean litter boxes when needed. I have given nail trims, as well. About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting cuz it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

The dog is just another family member in our crew! We never let our visiting dogs left out unattended and either stay on leash or tethered while we’re outside. About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. I never worried once while away.”
