I am also comfortable giving medication. I would love to care for your cat and will be sure to give them lots of love and attention! About: I grew up with dogs since I was a kid- everything from German Shepherds and Great Danes to chihuahuas! While I don't have any formal training, I have always been around animals and learned a lot through personal experience. My husband and I rescued our five year old chihuahua from a rescue agency in West Virginia and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It taught me a lot about the dedication, love, and patience it requires to make a rescue feel safe and comfortable. She is currently the only pet I have, but my family also has two chihuahuas so it's always fun to get them all together! I also have experience taking care of sick/elderly dogs. I lost my soul dog last year who suffered from heart failure and required nearly 24/7 care. I am a registered nurse with a background in cardiology, so it really hit home for me. Being in the medical field, I am naturally attentive to detail, compassionate, and have a strong regard for safety and communication. All of these things also apply when it comes to taking care of pets! Anyone that knows me knows my unwavering love for animals, especially dogs! I am currently taking a small hiatus from my nursing career so my availability is open at the moment. I am available on weekdays or weekends.
