About: I absolutely love dogs, and walking! I grew up around dogs and have fostered dogs of all breeds and sizes. I work full-time as a Registered Nurse Monday - Friday and am mostly available for evenings and weekend drop-ins/walks but can also offer either over a lunch break depending on the day and location. Given my passion for both dogs and nursing, I'm comfortable with dogs that have special needs or who need a little extra TLC. With fostering we have dealt with all sorts of behavioral problems and I have experience with everything from potty-training to leash aggression. Every dog has their own unique needs and personality, and I have the compassion and adaptability to look after any furry friend! I do work full-time, Monday - Friday (8-4:30). My work place varies throughout the week with some days being in Port Washington and others in West Bend, which does make weekday daytime coordination a little challenging. However evenings and weekends have more flexibility, and if I am working in Port Washington (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) I am available to swing by over my lunch break depending for local drop-ins. I have fostered numerous dogs over the years and treat them as my own. I have experience with leash training as well as crate training given my background in fostering. I have quite a bit of experience with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as leash or dog aggression, and I am always extremely cautious and protective of the dogs I am walking to ensure that there are no safety concerns when out walking (i.e. always crossing the street when another dog is coming, or not allowing them to run up to other dogs without ensuring both are friendly first).

I’ve been on both sides of doggie-sitting and love the convenience of sharing in the comforts of home rather than a kennel. My family loves welcoming new pets into our home—we treat them as our own. I am happy to follow all routines your pet is used to, communicate throughout the day and share pictures! I do request that we do a short meet & greet ahead of time so to make sure that all get along—must work well with kiddos. Our golden is a big baby so she will probably just lay on her back with her tail wagging. If your pet likes vehicles, they’ll just tag along with the crew on the few occasions we’re doing pick ups. I have over an acre of yard to play in! My golden is trained w an electric fence, but we also have a long line to keep your pet safe when we’re not out. We have a golden, so your dog would join in daily walks and belly rubs. The dog is just another family member in our crew! We never let our visiting dogs left out unattended and either stay on leash or tethered while we’re outside.
