“Sophie was wonderful with Reign! She came on short notice to let her out, play with her, and make sure she was fed and well cared for. She was dependable, caring, and gave us peace of mind knowing Reign was in good hands. We really appreciated her flexibility and how great she was with Reign. We will definitely be requesting Sophie again!”

About: I have always owned dogs. I love dogs more than people and will treat your dog as if they were my own. I have experience with all dogs including, large dogs, senior dogs, and puppies. I currently work from home so I have the flexibility to meet your needs. I do not have childcare on Fridays so I am unable to see dogs on that day. I will treat your dog as my own. I will respect your space and finish the job I came to do. I like to spend a few minutes to say hello to the dog and make them comfortable.
About: I believe that the unconditional love that pets provide their owners is something very special and they deserve love and respect in return. Since I was a child, I have always had a pet in my home. Years ago, I worked as a receptionist and vet assistant caring for both dogs and cats. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom and have two cats. My friends and neighbors frequently ask me to care for their fur babies. They have relied on me to feed, walk, give pill medications, clean litter boxes, play and spend the weekend with their pets. I feel comfortable with dogs and cats, large and small breeds. I look forward to providing the quality time and the best care possible as your pet's caretaker. As a stay-at-home mom, I have plenty of availability during the week and on weekends to provide care for your pets. I love all kinds of animals and will treat them as my own. Whether you need a quick drop in visit or an overnight stay, you and your furry family member can trust that I will provide exceptional service. Over the years, I have done overnight and weekend stays for friends, neighbors and family. I feel a pet is most comfortable in their own home and want them to feel safe and secure.

“Angela took wonderful care of Elliott during her twice-daily visits. She showed tremendous patience with him and let him warm up to her at his own pace. By her final visit, he allowed her to pet him and take him into the yard—a big accomplishment! She also thoughtfully handled a few extra details around the house. I truly appreciated her reliable and compassionate care. I highly recommend.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and in recent years, cats too, including one we found as an orphaned kitten, just a few weeks old, hiding in our backyard bushes. Nursing him through those fragile first months taught me a lot about patience, close observation, and gentle care, all things I bring to every pet I look after. By background, I’m a people nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, mobility issues, senior pets, or anything unexpected that comes up. These days I’m an at-home mom and entrepreneur, which means I have flexibility during the day and evenings. Your pet will get consistent attention and someone who treats their routine, quirks, and comfort as a priority. I’d love to meet you and your pet and talk through exactly what they need. Since I’m home full-time as a mom and entrepreneur, pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed into a tight window. I can offer walks, feedings, or check-ins throughout the day. My schedule has a lot of built-in flexibility, so I can usually adjust to a pet’s routine rather than asking them to adjust to mine. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible — same feeding times, same walk schedule, same spots for naps or play — so there’s as little disruption to their normal life as possible. I like to get a clear rundown from owners beforehand (feeding amounts, medications, quirks, favorite toys, anything that helps them feel secure) and I stay attentive to any signs something’s off, which is where my nursing background comes in handy
“This is our second time with Madeline and we couldn’t be happier. She’s so good with Niya. I’m still flabbergasted that she gets her to go outside and actually use the bathroom. It’s such a relief to know we have someone who is reliable and has so much love for our fur baby.”

“Heather was really wonderful. I have 2 dogs who couldn't be more different, a senior hound and a 5 yr old malinois. She did great with both of them. Heather was willing to go above and beyond with the care of the dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've cared for puppies and senior dogs alike. I've been taking care of dogs my entire life and I am familiar with all breeds. From Daschund to German Shepherd I have been with them all. I always take the necessary time to care for a dog as they need it and when they need it I don't offer this service, but I am willing to take care of your pets in your home at any time that you may need it.
“She was very helpful! It didn't work out with my dogs being at her house so we worked it out to her dropping in on them at my house to take care of them. She's one of the best!”

“Sofia was absolutely fantastic- during our initial meeting, her first impression was so lovely and kind and the cats were completely drawn to her. She went above and beyond brushing them and cleaning up messes. We will definitely be calling her to care for them again.”

About: I pet it all of my phones and families dogs whether it’s from short visits to letting the dogs outside to go potty or overnight stays. I have been doing this for over two years now, but it’s been a lot more frequent over the past two years. I have always loved dogs. In fact I have two big dogs one purebred German Shepherd and the other dog is a great Pyrenees mix. I am working with Rover now because I’m trying to be able to afford an apartment for myself and just take care of my basic necessities. I know how well I will want my dogs taken care of if I needed a sitter so I try to provide that same care to my clients! I can usually make any time work as best for you. I don’t have a full-time job. It should be my primary job right now. I can do anything you need me to do. Feeding the dogs, letting them out to go potty, taking them to play, taking them on a walk, etc.
About: I have had dogs my entire life growing up and have raised my dog Rocky since he was a two months old and he is 14 years old now. I have a passion for animals, especially dogs. I enjoy taking my dog to Virmond Park to hang out and check the scenery and walk around the park. I walk my dog two times a day and take him to the park once a day (weather permitting). I started as a sitter with Rover in September 2016, but have plenty of experience caring for dogs for friends and family members and have enjoyed every minute of it. I'm looking to make this more of a “full time job" so I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help you out with your furry friend. I am pretty flexible to adjust based on your dogs needs. *Prices are negotiable depending on the circumstance I’m currently available to help out with taking your animals on walks, checking in on them, feeding, etc. virtually any time! I am super flexible, so feel free to message me! I have a very friendly senior dog at home to keep your fur baby company! I have a crate if needed. I don’t have a fenced yard so whenever we’re outside, I’ll make sure the dogs are leashed so nothing bad happens. If you need me to house sit at your home, just let me know how you do things and I’d be happy to follow instructions to make sure your furry child has a great experience! I am looking to make this more of a full-time job, so I will be able to help out and play with your fur babies when you need me to. I will let your dog(s) out to to go potty every two hours or will accommodate whichever schedule you have them on. If I host your dog, I do have a dog of my own and he’s very friendly and I’m sure they’ll get along well. If I’m house & pet sitting in your home, I will do whatever is necessary to keep the pets on their regular schedule (food, potty, walks, etc.).
About: I provide attentive, compassionate, and reliable care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I specialize in creating a safe, comfortable environment—whether in your home or mine—ensuring pets receive plenty of exercise, affection, and individualized attention. With strong communication skills and a genuine love for animals, I keep pet parents updated and at ease throughout every stay. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
