“Ashley was a fantastic sitter for Riggins and Renly! She was very communicative about when she would arrive and always provided helpful updates. Riggins clearly loved having her around — he was constantly demanding pets and attention from her, which says a lot about how comfortable he felt. I also really appreciated all the extra little things Ashley did, like bringing in the mail and packages and sending pictures of Riggins while I was away. Renly is very shy and kept his distance, but Ashley was patient and understanding with him as well. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cats were well cared for, and I would absolutely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I truly enjoy caring for each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’ve owned both cats and dogs my entire life and have over a year of experience with dog boarding. I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I always make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and comfortable while you’re away. In our home we allow the dogs to roam and play freely throughout most of the main level of our home. We do not allow dogs to sleep in our beds. We also have a fenced portion of our yard for them to get plenty of outdoor playtime! We require that all dogs be up to date on their vaccinations and free from infectious diseases. Let us know your dog’s typical routines, and we will do our best to match that during their stay.

“Angie does an amazing job watching our two cats, hamster and fish. She follows all instructions and additionally takes care to notice what they may need without being asked. Our cats are older: one is blind and one can be crabby and she does well with both of them. It is such a relief to feel comfortable leaving them in good hands. I highly recommend Angie for pet sitting!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age in my own home and have dog sat for several families as a teenager and adult. I like to play and walk dogs and take care of their needs. I do have experience with puppies. I also have experience with cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and fish. I work from home, so I have some flexibility/availability during the morning and afternoon and am free in the evenings. I am also available most weekends. I love getting to know dogs and other pets. I will learn from the owners about their pets and observe their behaviors to see works best for them in our interactions.
“Lilyan was awesome! :) This was my first time using rover and I was super nervous but she really made it easy. She left detailed notes and sent over great photos making the process 10X easier. I also thought it was really sweet that she picked up after the dogs and I could tell in the photos they were out of breathe from playing during her stops at the house. Thank you a million Lilyan and would definitely choose you again!”

“Kandice was a great pet sitter for our two cats. Her communication was phenomenal and you can tell she has a real heart for animals. It was our 1st experience with Kandice and we would definitely book her again! Highly recommend !!”

I’ve lived with and helped raise a mid-sized terrier mix and a large Rottweiler mix. Im looking forward to meeting your furry family members and hopefully giving you some peace of mind that they well be safe and adored while you’re away. About: I've had dogs my whole life! Most have been middle size dogs - lab mixes, etc. I have experience with taking care of all size of pets though.I also walked dogs at a local humane society until I adopted my own bundle of joy! I have dog sat for all different sizes and types of dogs and genuinely enjoy being around them. Like I said above - I sometimes prefer dogs over people haha! I would love to get back into walking and socializing dogs looking for good homes! I love being able to help them find new homes! I just have a connection with dogs and love being around them! I currently work during the day but am free nights and weekends and would love to meet your member(s) of the family! :)

About: I have been living with and caring for animals my entire life. I learned from an early age how to care for and train animals. I can train your puppies on potty training, teaching them new tricks. I taught my dog how to use a doggy doorbell to let me when he needs to go potty. I also grew up around family who were experienced vet techs, who have taught me how to care for common pet injuries, etc. I'm currently beginning training for substitute teaching. But otherwise have a pretty open schedule. So I can be available most times for your pet care needs. I can let your dog outside or take them for walks while you're working so they can get out when you're not home. If you're in Waukesha county I can take them to the dog park and get them some exercise. I can sirens some time teaching them tricks. I'm open to what care you'd like your pup to receive.

Kelly is absolutely fantastic. I am a repeat client and I will continue to be. She is very dependable, punctual, and communicates with every visit on how they are doing with lots of pictures. She goes above and beyond creating trust with our kitties. She also does a stellar job making sure our kitties remain stress free with the cleanliness of their litter boxes. She follows instructions to a T and I leave a long list 🙃…. From bowl cleanliness and water fountain levels to youtube for cats so they have live entertainment and interior light levels so they can sleep well at night, but still see well enough in their eating and bathroom areas. I know they are well cared for and our home is secure. 5 stars!

Ashley did a double drop-in for me on a short notice request (1 dog, 2 cats). She is friendly and my dog liked her right away. Knowing that I had someone to trust with my pets while being gone for a long day was a huge relief. I would not hesitate requesting Ashley again.

Jen was great. I had her come by to check on our cats and take care of the autolitter boxes because my elderly Mom could not do that. She was completely understanding and did a great job. We're going out of town again this week and Jen will be back again. Thanks Jen!

Usually when I am gone, my cats get anxious, which lasts a few days after I return. This time, both cats were very laid back and chill, not at all clingy. The house was neat and tidy. (They usually knock things down to show their disapproval at my being gone.) Obviously, they felt at ease with Erica and she did a great job of taking care of them. She also brought in my newspaper and mail and left it neatly where I had asked.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
