About: I am a college student majoring in animal behavior. I have lived with dogs my whole life, and for the past 7 years I have gained experience as a volunteer service dog puppy raiser. I have raised 5 labradors/goldens from 8 weeks to 18 months, in addition to training and puppy sitting 40+ other dogs on their path to become guide dogs for the blind. I have experience living with an 18 year old senior pug/beagle cross and giving medications to dogs. I have also trained other breeds such as poodles outside of the guide dog program, and have worked with mastiffs, great pyrenees, catahoula leopard dogs, and more! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 when my family got our first dog. I take her on plenty of walks, watch her, and bathe her. I have pet sit for family members and friends pets. About: Hello people of Rover! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with dogs, guinea pigs and a hamster. I’m still very passionate about animals. I have corgis and still keep guinea pigs at home. When I was younger, I volunteered at HAWS as a cat socializer and Elmbrook Humane Society as a small animal socializer and cage cleaner. About: I have had dogs and helped to care for them for my entire life. Including maintaining proper feeding schedule, walking and exercising dogs, playing with dogs, comforting dogs, etc… I frequently dogsit (including overnight stays) for my nephew puppy (Theo, mini bernedoodle), who is now 11 months old but have been helping with him since we was 2 months old. I will be getting my own mini dachshund puppy in August! :) I currently work full-time as a nanny. However, my schedule will be changing in August, as I will be opening my own coffee shop in September. I am comfortable using harness and leash, overseeing pets in a fenced in area, walking dogs, administering medications, feeding dogs, playing, etc.

I will already know how the dogs are going to act and I will be prepared. I never leave the doors unlocked/open unless advised by the owner. I will do exactly what the owner has said to do. I will always double check a dog is secured with their leash when going outside, I will also be aware of the weather and how that might switch the dogs needs when going outside.

Usually when I am gone, my cats get anxious, which lasts a few days after I return. This time, both cats were very laid back and chill, not at all clingy. The house was neat and tidy. (They usually knock things down to show their disapproval at my being gone.) Obviously, they felt at ease with Erica and she did a great job of taking care of them. She also brought in my newspaper and mail and left it neatly where I had asked.
