I am a college student, but most of my classes and class work is done online. I am available between 7 am and 11 pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I am available between 7am and 5pm Tuesday and Thursday. My schedule is very flexible, but I would ask for some flexibility with leaving for a few hours at a time to run errands or check in on things at home.

Safety is my number one concern. This includes things like; making sure any choking hazards are out of reach, leashing dogs with their appropriate harness/collar before opening the door into an unfenced area, cleaning up waste asap, making sure they have plenty of water and are eating at mealtimes, avoiding situations that are known to stress them out and can cause aggressive behavior, administering medication when necessary and checking that all entrances to the home are locked when I leave.

I'm the kind of person who likes to prepare for anything, so any information you can give me about your pet is greatly appreciated! Please have a list of any medications, their dosage, and what times to administer. Let me know of any fears or situations that may cause them to act aggressively so we can avoid them. Let me know their typical schedule and favorite snacks or treats. Let me know of any medical issues or special needs (blindness, deafness, etc.) so I can make sure they get the level of care they need. If they have any separation or general anxieties let me know the best ways to comfort them. Also, just let me know of any funny or weird personality quirks they have! It's always so fun to see how unique each animal is!
A typical day
With the weather in Wisconsin, sometimes outdoor activities aren't safe for your furry friend, but I always like to be sure that your little one gets enough mental and physical stimulation to be sure they're happy and tuckered out by bedtime. I like to take them on walks, play with them in a fenced yard, engage them in play (so show me their favorite toy), give them lots of pets, and run with them to get the zoomies out! Some pets like lots of physical activity, some like lots of snuggles and pets, and some like to just hang out and like knowing someone is with them. Whatever level of activity your pet has, I will meet them at their level!

Hi, I'm Aly! I have been a proud pet parent for most of my life, so I'm very familiar with the stress and worries that come along with having to leave your furry family member behind during a trip. Let me share some things about myself to help ease your mind! The number one reason I’m in this line of work is my love for animals! Each pet is unique, so every service I provide is tailored to their needs. I've been taking care of pets in a professional capacity for 5 years. I have experience caring for all ages from puppies/kittens to elderly pets. I also have experience caring for very timid animals. My little one Rio was adopted from a shelter and was very nervous about everyone and everything. I gained a lot of patience and understanding through helping him become acclimated to his new life, and I will do everything I can to be a positive figure in your timid pet's journey. I am a college student doing online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible, allowing me to offer a more hands-on approach to your pet's care when needed. I am available for overnight stays, but a typical day for your pet will begin with breakfast between 7 am and 8 am. They can hang out with me as much as they want while I work on my classwork (and get all the cuddles they want!) If they usually go for walks, like to play in the yard or have a favorite toy let me know at the meet and greet and I'll be sure they get their favorite form of exercise each day. I will feed them their dinner at the time you normally feed them, then I will usually head out once your fur babies are tucked into bed and settled around 10 pm and 11 pm. I care very much for each pet in my care and also appreciate the responsibility of caring for your home while you're away and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived. I will send daily updates with photos of your adorable little guy/girl! I can't wait to hear from you! Some additional assurances: I know CPR and basic first-aid for cats and dogs. On top of the Rover Guarantee, I am also fully insured as a pet sitting small business. This offers protection regarding your pet's safety, your property, as well as my safety.

Aly did such a wonderful job with our Finnegan! The communication and pictures were wonderful and she went above and beyond helping us with some unexpected deliveries during her stay. Our dog was smitten with her and he seemed to be spoiled just as much as when we’re at home.
