I currently work full time in the evenings Thursday through Sunday, so my availability is a little different on those days. I’m still available for drop-in visits and house sitting, but I’m not able to care for dogs who need to be let outside or checked on during the time I’m at work. I’m happy to work with pets whose routines fit around my schedule, and I’m available more flexibly on my other days. My goal is always to make sure I can give each pet the attention and care they need! I keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Providing reliable, consistent care is important to me, and I always make sure each pet receives the time, attention, and love they deserve.

When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I take the time to follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medications, litter box cleaning, or any special requests. I also treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and tidy, make sure your pet has fresh food and water, and give them plenty of love and attention based on their personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and independent, I let them set the pace while making sure they feel safe and cared for. You'll receive regular photo and video updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, healthy, and in good hands while you're away.

Before every booking, I like to learn as much as I can about your pet so I can provide the best care possible. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, personality, and any behaviors I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing about medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears, or anything that helps your pet feel safe and comfortable. For cats, I'd love to know whether they're social, shy, or prefer their own space, along with their favorite treats, hiding spots, or play styles. For dogs, it's helpful to know about leash manners, energy level, training cues, and how they interact with people and other animals. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can make your pet feel comfortable, maintain their routine, and provide the personalized care they deserve while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I tailor each visit to their routine and personality. A typical visit starts with a quick check to make sure everything looks good, followed by fresh food and water and any medications if needed. For cats, I'll scoop the litter box and spend quality time playing, brushing, or simply keeping them company—whatever they're most comfortable with. For dogs, we'll enjoy a walk, potty break, playtime, and plenty of affection. I pay close attention to your pet's behavior and well-being during every visit, making sure they're happy, comfortable, and getting the care they need. Before I leave, I'll tidy up any pet-related messes, make sure your home is secure, and send you an update with photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed, cared for, and loved until you're back home.

I can't recommend Catilyn enough! I was nervous about leaving my 2 year old English Mastiff, Bear, while I was on vacation because he has some anxiety and doesn't usually warm up to strangers, but I just couldnt bring him with on this trip. But Catilyn was so patient, kind, and understanding, and Bear ended up being completely comfortable with her very quickly during our introduction. She took amazing care of him in our home and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the regular check-ins, photos, and videos she sent. It was clear from every update that Bear was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention and love. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog made me feel much less guilty about leaving him in the first place. If you're looking for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, and truly cares about the pets she watches, I would absolutely recommend her. I would definitely book her again if needed!
