“I always feel at ease when Kathy checks in on our cats! We were gone for about 5 days and we got daily pictures on the day she was cat sitting. She went above and beyond and figured out how to entertain our cat who likes to have the faucet turned on just a little for droplets to play with the water 😂 I’d definitely recommend her service! :)”

“Michelle was really attentive to our cat and responsive to us. From the booking process to the exchange of keys. She fed him and played with him while also sending plenty of pictures. Would 100% book her again if we needed some help!”

“Michelle was great! She was very responsive when we needed someone to drop by to feed our 2 cats while we were gone for the week. They loved her visits - she fed them, cleaned their bowls, refreshed their water, brushed and played with them, cleaned their litter, and even cleaned up some vomit. One of our cats can be shy, but he warmed up to Michelle immediately. We would definitely recommend Michelle for your pet care needs!”

About: PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PENDING REQUESTS TO OTHER SITTERS. Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

“Elyzabeth cares about my cats and their well being in the same way I would. She is trustworthy and has a good heart. She makes looking after my cats her priority. I’m so appreciative of her. Thank you for your help and continued support of my furry munchkins.”

About: As someone who’s naturally calm, observant, and patient, I connect easily with pets who need gentle energy—whether they’re playful pups, anxious rescues, or sweet senior companions. I’m a homebody at heart, so your pet will always have consistent attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of snuggles. I’m especially comfortable with older dogs who need slower walks or extra care, and I have experience reading subtle body language cues to keep pets happy and safe. I treat every animal like my own, and I’m here for the quiet moments, quirky habits, and unconditional love that come with pet care. I have open availability so pet care is the best part of my day! I’m home often, love quiet routines, and prefer paws over people anyway. I provide care in your pet’s home where they feel most safe. I follow routines, give calm attention, cuddles, and keep their space clean and cozy.

“Elizabeth did a great job with our pup! She kept us updated the entire time with lots of details and pictures. It was comforting knowing Elizabeth was treating Bo like her own while we were away. She approached separation anxiety with nothing but compassion and patience. Thank you Elizabeth for such a great experience!! :)”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid, for as long as I can remember. I've had dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. My last dog was trained so well that friends and neighbors decided to get a dog for themselves after meeting him. Currently I have a 3 year old dog at home, along with my wife and 2 teenagers. We all love dogs because of the mutual unconditional love. I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch with them in our small backyard and going to the dog park is a favorite activity for the whole family. Our dog is happiest when playing with other dogs and then getting so tired she can poop out on our couch while cuddling one of us. We have a small backyard but live in a very dog friendly neighborhood with sidewalks so when playing in the backyard isn't exercise enough long walks are great. I am familiar with giving dogs different medications and dealing with different dog personalities. I am an educator, so I am home for the summer, so our routine is flexible. I typically start the day with a morning walk by 7:00 am and then see where the day takes us. We take our last potty break around 10:00 pm before heading to bed. I have a fenced in backyard. I allow pets on our furniture. I do not have a crate, but I am comfortable crating dogs if that is what they are accustomed to. I have a dog and a cat at home. The cat mostly avoids dogs. I love dogs and they will be safe, loved, and taken good care of. There is usually always somebody at home to watch the pets, and we have a flexible schedule to accommodate to that.

At our home, they're part of the family (we have 2 very friendly dogs & a fenced in yard)—cozy spots to nap, daily playtime, walks, and tons of love. Ashley W.Star Sitter
“Ashley is quite the do lover. She no only loves dogs but has tons of energy for those who like to be super active. In the time I have known Ashley she has not only watched dogs I've had and done an excellent job but she is also a former foster with a local dog rescue. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”

Whether it’s dogs, cats, or more unique pets, April treats each one like family. What really sets her apart is her attention to detail. She follows care instructions to the letter and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets are comfortable and happy. On top of that, her communication is top-notch—you’ll always know how your pet is doing with regular updates and photos that show just how much they’re being cared for. If you want peace of mind while you’re away, April is the one to trust. Your pets will be in excellent hands.”

April S.
“Hi! I’ve known April for 25 years and can attest that since I’ve known her she’s always had a special place in her heart for all pets. She’s a fantastic mom to her own two pups, and an equally as wonderful auntie to my 2 kitties. Not only that, she is reliable, timely, and a very responsible person. She will care for all the fur babies as if they were her own.”

Jacob S.
“Jake is so helpful with my 3 cats. He regularly watches them when i’m at work or out of town. He sends me videos and pictures of how visibly happy they are with him there. Enrique A.
“Enrique has been a true blessing for me and my anxious Bichon Frise. My dog is usually nervous around new people, but Enrique’s calming presence put him at ease right away. He’s incredibly reliable, caring, and treats my pup like family. I always have peace of mind knowing my dog is in Enrique’s hands. Highly recommend!”

Olivia S.
“I have known Olivia for years, she is one of the most responsible and caring people I know. She has not only given wonderful care to animals of her own throughout her whole life, but has been a trusted pet sitter for many including both myself and my parents. I have two very shy cats who warmed up to Olivia right away because of her loving and gentle nature. My dog Louise considers Olivia to be one of her very best friends! My parents dog, Piper has special needs and Olivia has always been so patient with her and willing to help however she can. Olivia is a great choice for a pet sitter, she treats animals with all the love and respect in the world and will make any pet feel at home.”
Wauwatosa cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is our second time booking with Emily, and we’ve loved her so much that we’ve referred friends to her who confirm the same sentiment: She is just fantastic at what she does. Her experience with young children as an elementary school teacher certainly translates to being phenomenal with furry friends! We were concerned that our shy calico would hide, but she was happily making friends within a few visits. Rover reports were detailed (and so sweet!) each day. Cannot continue recommending Emily enough!

Cyen took care of my cats while I was away. I had a long manual and Cyen actually took time to read and performed the task. I was worried in the beginning since it was my first time using her service, but it went away on the first day. Would love to hire her again in the future!

Liz was very responsive, timely, and communicative. I felt in tune with how my cats were doing, and based on the updates she gave, I knew I didn’t need to worry about them! She also helped us out with a late booking, which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Liz for cat care!

Hannah did an amazing job and provided notes and pic updates to me every day she checked in. She’s very reliable and professional and followed all instructions perfectly. I definitely recommend her and would want her as a sitter again in the future. Thank you again!
