“Brian is an exceptional human being with tremendous integrity. We went away for two weeks and left him in charge of our home, our acreage, and our lively young cat. He was simply amazing in every way you wish a house sitter or a pet sitter could be. The phrase “above and beyond” came to our minds over and over while we were on our vacation. Our cat bonded with him deeply. In fact, she walked around the house crying for him in the evenings when we first returned home. She couldn’t figure out where her play buddy went. Brian was a fantastic communicator – – sharing all the ordinary goings-on‘s with the house and our cat, including cute photos and video clips. But he also really stepped up when a harder moment came. A powerful wind storm came through the area while we were away, and Brian did an outstanding job of prepping for a possible power outage— which did not end up happening. He also did a great job of communicating with us about any possible house or tree damage— which luckily also did not happen. What we appreciated most about Brian was his calm, warm, caring, and very-capable demeanor. We feel very blessed to have gotten to know him, and we plan to have him watch over our home and pets for years to come.”

“Hailey is the best! We are always reluctant having new dog sitters; however, she not only made us feel comfortable, but our dog as well! She was very responsive and we loved the pictures she sent us while we were gone. I highly recommend Hailey!”

“Loghan did a great job taking care of our 16 year old shih tzu. She was very kind and compassionate as well as respectful of our home. We would definitely use her services again in the future.”

“We are so thankful to have found Dawn on Rover! She took such wonderful care of our rescue shepherd mix, Dakota. We had a last minute cancellation a few days prior to our trip, and luckily Dawn was available and willing to work with our schedules to arrange a meet and greet prior to the house sit. It’s clear from Dawn’s background that she is very knowledgeable in caring for animals. Dakota felt at ease with her right away, and therefore we did too! Dawn made what could have been a stressful situation feel very smooth. We received daily updates of a very happy pup! We returned to a well looked after dog and home. We strongly recommend hiring Dawn, and we definitely plan to reach out to her again for future trips.”

About: I am currently working at Banfield Pet Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant, so I am able to give pets nail trims, medications, fluids, etc., and I can also tell if there's any behavioral or medical abnormalities with your pet. I am attending Harcum college, where I am studying to be a veterinary nurse. After graduating Harcum and getting my certificate, I plan to move on to emergency/specialty medicine and specializing in anesthesia. I’m 20 years old and I have spent the majority of my life caring for animals. I even have a 5-year-old Alaskan Malamute, so I have plenty of experience with the stubborn, intelligent breeds. FLEXIBLE. I live in the dorms at Harcum college (Bryn Mawr, PA) during the week where I would like to pet sit locally. All days, I have breaks between classes where I could stop by and check on your pets. Friday-Sunday I am typically home, working at the animal hospital, but I only live 30 minutes from Harcum, so I can still swing by as needed. I will do any and all sorts of enrichment that the pet requires including daily walks, playing with toys, going on little 'adventures', light training, giving treats, etc. Pets will be fed in a timely manner (I can't promise a set schedule due to work & class hours). I will also respect your pet's boundaries, completely! I understand not all dogs/cats want to cuddle or play; some like to hide or don't want to engage at all. I get it! I'm here to make sure they are happy, safe, and taken care of while the owner is away.
“Rosemary was wonderful, she was so sweet with my pups. She treated them like they were her own, loved, played and cuddled them. She asked all the right questions and followed my instructions perfectly. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!💕”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years and have experience with all ages and sizes, including my senior rescue dog, Layla. I’m certified in Dog & Cat First Aid through the American Red Cross, so I’m prepared to handle emergencies calmly and safely. I’ve also volunteered with rescue organizations to transport dogs and cats to new homes, which has given me experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I provide daily walks, runs, drop-ins, and extended care tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs. I treat every pet as part of my family, giving them attention, care, and playtime they deserve. I recently left my corporate IT career to fully pursue my passion for pet care! This allows me to offer flexible scheduling for walks, runs, visits, and overnights. My goal is to provide a reliable, loving environment for every pet I care for. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine carefully, provide fresh water, monitor their health and behavior, and maintain a clean safe environment. I handle pets gently and respectfully, ensuring their comfort at all times. I also provide photo and video updates for pet parents, and can add your pet to my social media pages if you approve, so you can see them happy and cared for throughout their time with me.
“Matt took great care of our pup while we were on our honeymoon. Before we left Indy had a cut on his foot that required him to wear a bag on his foot and to be wiped with medicine after returning inside. Since this happened the day before we left we didn’t really have a chance to get him used to the process. Matt went above and beyond to care for Indys paw injury and kept us updated. We would highly recommend Matt!”

“Fandi and Martin were extremely kind and attentive to Chloe during our week long vacation. We received just enough communication to allow us to know Chloe was in good hands! Thank you very much for keeping her busy and keeping her safe!”

About: Grew up surrounded by animals, taking care of them is second nature to me. I was raised helping my grandma foster kittens, even helped rehab a bird that fell from our tree. I’ve pet sat for friends and family over the years, regularly walk my aunt’s dog, and have experience house sitting. I also have two dogs of my own, one that is high needs so I am comfortable with more attentive care. I spent time volunteering at an animal sanctuary and even briefly for the SPCA in high school. Overall, I am used to being around all kinds of animals and making sure they are loved and cared for. Currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am available from 10am-5pm & 8pm-11pm (if needed) Monday-Friday. I am available 9am-6pm on Saturday’s. Sunday’s I may have availability upon request. I am very attentive to your pet’s needs. They will always be securely leashed and I will always adhere to the requests given by pet parents :)

My dog's immediately liked Sam when she first came to meet them! The pictures and videos she sent while we were away showed me just how happy and comfortable they were with her. And it made me feel better to know they were being well loved while I was gone. It's not often I leave my dog behind, but if I had to do again I would absolutely rebook with Sam!! Thank you!

From the “meet & greet” weeks ago to arriving home today after her first stay with our two dogs, Hailey was friendly, communicative and timely which is always appreciated. She left the house clean and the dogs happy. We look forward to having her dog-sit again!

Gianna was great with our dog who has separation anxiety while we were gone for multiple days and nights. She checked on her regularly throughout the day & stayed overnight. She was in constant communication with pictures and just general notes on her wellbeing. She was amazing and we definitely will be using her services next time!

Erica is just wonderful - I can't recommend her highly enough. We were nervous about having someone we didn't know stay in our house for a week, but our elderly Maltese was just diagnosed with a heart condition, and she needed to be watched in our home. Erica was just perfect. She is so friendly and smart, a great communicator, and truly cares about the animals. When we returned home, our pets were calm and happy, and the house looked just as it had when we left. Erica is definitely our go-to pet sitter now.

Heather is truly wonderful. She is incredibly attentive to our kiddos and very thoughtful towards us and our home. When you love your animal(s) and if they have special needs or medicines etc it can be hard sometimes to enjoy getting out into the world if you don’t have someone like her to take care of them for you. My wife and I realized on our last overnight sit that we weren’t in the slightest stressed about being away, which is a testament to the great care and communication that Heather provides as a pet sitter. Thank you Heather!!!

I can’t recommend Danyelle. From the very first meeting, it was clear how caring, reliable, and attentive she was. She treated my dog like her own—sending regular updates, photos, and messages that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned, which says everything. It’s such a relief to know I have someone I trust completely with my fur baby. I will absolutely be using Danyelle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, loving dog sitter!

Thomas(TJ) did a wonderful job. TJ was very caring and took excellent care of my fur babies. TJ kept communication sending pictures and updates. The dogs all looked happy and loving their attention. TJ did a great job caring and giving attention. TJ left the house very clean and my fur babies happy and well cared for overnight. I would highly recommend TJ to pet sit. I found TJ to be very caring and responsible. We all hope to see you again. Thanks for such a great job.
