Pet care experience

Hello pet familes!

Hello, in my last 2 years of High School I studied Veterinary Science at Eastern Center of Arts and Technology as well as regular high school. at Eastern in the veterinary science program I focused on care, health safety and importance of all animals with a focus on dogs and cats. I passed the NOCTI exam, which is field specific nationwide test making me a Veterinary Technician Assistant before I even graduated High School. I am currently enrolled at Delaware Valley University for Zoo Science. I have 2 rescued dogs and a rescue cat at home, a 5 year old Staffordshire Terrier, a 4 year old Pitbull mix, and a short haired cat. I have experience with dogs, cats, lizards, rabbits, fish and more

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

With my pets I walk, feed, play, care, and clean up after them. As a pet owner I wouldn’t expect less than that, your pets are important to you as they are to me and deserve the best care. When I am with them I treat your and their space with respect and make sure that everything is just as it was before if not a little better. I do request that if your dog is known for being aggressive that you let me know and what specifically bothers them for both their safety and mine. I also would like to know of any health issues that need to be kept an eye on.

Hailey was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our dog and our home, and we came back to everything happy, clean, and well cared for. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. We would happily have Hailey sit for us again and highly recommend her!

Hailey really went above and beyond! When my cat Pip got finicky about eating his wet food (which has his meds crushed in), Hailey was patient and tireless in her efforts to troubleshoot. She even went to the grocery store late at night to get a different kind of food for Pip (which worked!) just to make sure he could get his meds that evening. She was great with sending updates and pictures, and is just a very sweet and thoughtful person. Highly recommend Hailey!

I am always confident when I leave my dog with Hailey. Hailey's communication relieves my worries when away as my dog is very attached to me. Hailey is reliable and a pleasure to have work with my dog. We will use her again for sure 😀

From the “meet & greet” weeks ago to arriving home today after her first stay with our two dogs, Hailey was friendly, communicative and timely which is always appreciated. She left the house clean and the dogs happy. We look forward to having her dog-sit again!

I was away in Europe on a family trip for 2 weeks and I knew that Rosie was in good hands the whole time. That was such a great feeling. I could enjoy my time with my family and not worry about Rosie back here in PA. Hailey checked in daily with a picture and a short description of how things were going here. She is mature, responsible, tidy -- all great qualities -- but most of all, I know she is kind and loving with Rosie. Because of her extensive experience with dogs, Hailey knows what to do on a walk with my reactive dog. That is comforting to me. I am so fortunate to have struck gold with Rosie and hope she stays with Rover for a long time :)

It's important for me to know if your pets have any allergies, medications, disabilities and if they can be aggressive whether they are large or small. This isn't just for their safety but for mine, I want to be able to make it a comfortable environment. These are important for me to know so that I can be able to go into the situations with the knowledge of what is happening for them. Specifically for aggressive pets its good for me to know what can make them react so that I can avoid having an unsafe environment.
