I’ve had dogs, cats and birds my entire life and have experience with smaller breeds all the way up to giant breed dogs. I’ve been involved in rescue for the past 15 years and have a lot of experience with special needs pets of all kinds. I can administer medications, including injectable medications, and I work in veterinary medicine. I do this because of my love animals and it brings me joy for people to know that their pets are getting top-notch care when they are away. I know how important it is to be able to relax when you’re away and not have to worry about your pets. I have tons of references available upon request as well :)

I pet sit for many people with very specific instructions for their babies and I follow them exactly as asked. I have lots of experience with special needs pets whose morning and evening routine takes a lot of time and I am more than happy to accommodate and make sure everything is exactly as requested. Experienced with caring for multiple pets as well.

Dawn was wonderful. She is very responsible and communicative. She clearly loves animals and was very easy going when our dog was sick. Dawn sent pictures daily and kept us apprised of how everyone was doing. Highly recommend Dawn.
Dawn was absolutely fabulous! She took great care of our dog, Marshall, and sent updates and pictures daily. In each picture he looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for. He even went looking for her after she left which tells me that he enjoyed his time with her! She was very respectful of our house which was also appreciated. 10/10 experience- we hope to have Dawn dog and house sit again!
We are so thankful to have found Dawn on Rover! She took such wonderful care of our rescue shepherd mix, Dakota. We had a last minute cancellation a few days prior to our trip, and luckily Dawn was available and willing to work with our schedules to arrange a meet and greet prior to the house sit. It’s clear from Dawn’s background that she is very knowledgeable in caring for animals. Dakota felt at ease with her right away, and therefore we did too! Dawn made what could have been a stressful situation feel very smooth. We received daily updates of a very happy pup! We returned to a well looked after dog and home. We strongly recommend hiring Dawn, and we definitely plan to reach out to her again for future trips.
Dawn took great care of my dog and three cats. She replied quickly anytime I reached out and sent photos without prompting. The house was left in great condition too.
Dawn is amazing! We were a little nervous since this was our first time using this app, but from the moment we met Dawn, we felt completely comfortable with her. She is reliable, conscientious, and pampered our Miniature schnauzer like he was her own. While we were gone, Dawn gave us regular updates about our pup, and she gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our family trip. I can’t recommend Dawn enough!

Schedule
I work at an animal hospital during the day (8-4) M-F but am available to stay in your home, or to do drop in visits before and after those hours. On weekends I am available to be there all day. I can also make special arrangements during the week upon request.
