About: I have been caring for and loving cats and dogs for over 20 years… I have experienced all sizes and breeds of both dogs and cats. I have a very caring and loving personality and it never takes long for even the shyest of animals to warm up to me. I work a full-time job from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday so my weekends are usually caring for the things I love most… Animals. It has always been and always will be my favorite past time. I have pet set for all different types with very strict rules and I always take notes and follow instructions down to a science. About: I have been volunteering in a local animal shelter for about 6 months and after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh I am looking to commit more time to helping out the people and pets in my community! In the shelter I helped admitted lost animals and I have experience walking and taking dogs out for field trips. During field trips I would walk dogs through frick park, relax on my porch, and take them to get a pup cup! I loved being able to help out the dogs and give them the love they deserve! I have passed the Fear Free shelter program and have experience with dog walking as well as caring for my family’s own cat and dog. I am excited to start this new journey! I currently work from home 9-5 in the Doylestown area. I’m an active adult who already likes to walk throughout my day and would love to add a dog friend to that! I would have time at lunch, as well as before or after work to care for your dog. My lunch is flexible so I can work around you! On weekends I have open availability. In the middle of work days I would not be able to provide more than 30 minutes walking or spending time with your dog, but before/after week days and during weekends I could spent up to and hour with your dog to give them extra love! In my client’s home I would care for the pet just as you would! I would ask for and follow your instructions on how you would like your pet cared for and would of course give him or her lots of love!

About: First things first I charge per visit per dog. I have worked at a doggy daycare where I look after dogs, clean up after them as well as bath them. I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 and dogs specifically for 10 years. I currently have 6 dogs that I care for. I have also cared for reptiles, rabbits, and cats. I walk my dogs (yes all 6 of them) daily and I find that I have extra time on my hands that I would love to help others with their pet needs, I do twice daily feedings, bi weekly washings and teeth brushing. I do use corrective action when needed such as squirt bottles with water ( some dogs like it and acts as a nice reward or distraction). I will clap or use a stern voice for corrections if necessary or basic commands like sit, stay, down to refocus their energy into something beneficial. For reward pets and treats of course if allowed, extended walks and or play times. I’ve also cared for injured dogs when necessary and dogs with medical issues that need medication.
