About: I’ve never not had a dog to care for. I love them deeply and enjoy providing them attention while their owners are away. I know that’s a stressful time for them and I want to help make it less stressful for all parties. I am a teacher and home all summer so there will rarely be a time when your pet is alone. My schedule is pretty flexible but when I’m caring for a dog I ensure that is my number one priority. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space for the dogs. I do have a two wonderful, gentle Cavalier King Charles’ who love spending time with other dogs but also enjoy sleeping all day.

About: I've been with and around pets since I was 14. I am a reliable resource to pet, play, feed, and walk neighbors' and friends animals for lots of time. I don't personally have any pets myself, but I often have dogs come stay with us and go visit other people's pets. About: I have been volunteering in a local animal shelter for about 6 months and after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh I am looking to commit more time to helping out the people and pets in my community! I have found most pets are more comfortable when they are cared for at home. They know where to expect their food and water, they usually have a spot they enjoy sleeping in (whether it's your bed or their pet bed), and they know where to go to do their business. It is hard enough for pets to adapt to you being away from home let alone a change in environment and so I like to keep what I can consistent, which is their routine and being in the comfort of their own home.
