About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. About: I have extensive cat care experience. At no time during my childhood did we have fewer than 4. We took in many strays, including a pregnant mama who gave birth to 5 healthy kittens in our home. My first cat as adult was one of the kittens of another mama we rescued shortly after their birth. My Siamese finally passed at the age of 19.5 in Dec of 2024 and his geriatric brother, my sweet silly white and orange (both rescues), passed in 2025. I am a human nurse and can administer medications. I know how much we love our pets, so your pet will be MY pet while in my care! I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can work any day of the week, any time - morning, afternoon, or night. So, I’m totally available and can adjust whenever needed. I care for pets in the client’s home and follow their normal routine based on whatever the owner needs or requests! I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get walks and bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention. I also play with them, give them lots of love, and follow any specific instructions so they feel comfortable and everything stays consistent while their owner is away.
About: I cannot imagine a life without pets, as I have loved and cared for animals my whole life. I started with grooming and caring for the family pets we owned when I was growing up. Neighbors noticed my love for animals and how responsible I was and would ask me to watch their pets occasionally. My information was quickly shared around the neighborhood and I had over 15 families calling on me for their pet-sitting and babysitting needs. I would often house-sit for these families as it was more comfortable for their pets to be at home where they were familiar with their surroundings. I pride myself on putting the comfort of the pets I care for first. I like to stick to whatever routine your pet is used to, as best I can, so they feel at home with me. I also want you to feel comfortable leaving your furry friends in my care so I welcome special care instructions and requests from families. I have several families with specific feeding instructions for their pets that often take longer to prep than cooking for myself, so no request is too much for me! I have had experience with animals of all shapes and sizes including farm animals, reptiles, horses, cats, dogs, rodents, birds, and fish. I provide care for pets of all ages and can give additional care if your pet has any health complications. I have taken care of pets with epilepsy, diabetes, pyotraumatic dermatitis (hot spots), thyroid issues, skin conditions, and keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS). These special pets required additional care such as dietary restrictions, medications (liquid and pill forms), injections, ointments, and eyedrops. I will care for your pets and home like they are my own and I hope you feel comfortable coming to me for any care you may need for your beloved pets. My schedule is very flexible. I am able to provide drop-ins, walks, and/or housesitting services with dates and times available to fit your needs. As mentioned in my experience section, your pet's/pets' comfort is my priority, I will make myself available to meet your needs. I come to you to care for your loved one/ones. I have found most pets are more comfortable when they are cared for at home. They know where to expect their food and water, they usually have a spot they enjoy sleeping in (whether it's your bed or their pet bed), and they know where to go to do their business. It is hard enough for pets to adapt to you being away from home let alone a change in environment and so I like to keep what I can consistent, which is their routine and being in the comfort of their own home. I know a lot of pets are used to snuggling with their family at night so I welcome sharing the couch or bed with your pet/pets if that is something they are used to. I also give lots of attention, cuddles, and playtime in addition to daily care. I often share updates and pictures (see pictures and captions) with the families I sit for if that is something you'd appreciate while away from your baby/babies. You can leave knowing your pet/pets and home are being looked after and well cared for. I also offer light housekeeping and landscaping services if you plan on being away for an extended period of time.

Very active family with a combination of young and senior dogs in the house. Experience with senior care as well as puppies. I live where I work! About: I have always had dogs as a child and as an adult. I enjoy going on walks with dogs and giving them all the snuggles! I am teacher and off for the summer. I am around most days. If I am running errands it is only for a short period of time. I have a fenced in yard. I have crates if needed. I can block off sections of the house. I have a 2.5 year old yellow lab to keep your furr baby entertained. I have lots of doggy toys for entertainment as well.
