About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also a certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

“Chenelle is so great!! She was so thorough and thoughtful in taking care of our dog Sport over multiple days and Sport get great walks in and lots of love! Thank you Chenelle!”

About: I have experience working with different types of animals including dogs, cats, and horses! I started out taking care of horses in 2021, and since then I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for my family and neighbors. I love going outside on walks and I know how to handle a big dog or a leash puller! I work really well with following an established routine and I value communication. I also have a golden retriever named Tilly that I’ve helped raise since she was a puppy, and she just turned 4! She requires daily medication, so I’m very familiar with hiding it in her treats. I love all furry friends big or small and I can’t wait to meet yours! I’m a student with lots of free time this summer! I’m an early riser, ready to go at 6-7am, and I end my days at around 9-10pm. I have lots of flexibility for all times of the day during the week, except on Thursdays I’ll only be available in the morning or evening. I can care for your pets in your own home, where they will feel most comfortable and secure. They’ll be sure to get lots of attention and love from me, and you will get consistent updates about them! I also love going on walks, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise. I’ll follow instructions left for me about their daily schedule and relay any concerns or questions I might have.

“Sharon is absolutely WONDERFUL! She was able to accommodate a last minute request to care for Nala. Nala is a high anxiety dog and I always worry when I have to leave her. She immediately came up to Sharon during the initial meeting and showed no anxiety. Sharon let me know how my dog was doing and her behavior. Sharon was on time and provided excellent communication. 100% recommend Sharon.”

“Zoe was great! We needed someone last minute and she was able to do a meet and greet the following morning and then took the dogs on a walk that afternoon. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to watch after their pups!”

About: I’ve grown up with many dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Pitbulls. I love helping my dogs stay active and comfortable. I would love to care for your pet, small or large, in your time away! I work a few days a week, so I am able to care for your pet through drop-ins and walks Monday-Friday from 6am-9pm. With at least a one day notice, I will make sure to prioritize your pet in my schedule. For drop-ins and walking, I will make sure to check on all of your animals needs and anything else pet related that you would like while I am there. I would love any tips to help care for your animal while I am with them!

About: I have dog-sat, cat-sat, and walked dogs of all ages and sizes since I was a kid, for friends, family members, and neighbors. I am willing to travel outside my town to provide services. I am also very comfortable with caring for more exotic animals, as I grew up spending my summers learning to ride horses on a farm with goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits and the like. Rural locations are very acceptable to me, as I have no phobia of insects or snakes. I have plenty of time every day of the week to care for pets, including early mornings and late nights. Many weekday mornings I will be unavailable for up to 3 hours total, usually from 8-11 AM. I also work part-time Monday evenings. I can care for your dogs just as I do my own, with plenty of exercise and attention as needed. I am used to “moody” animals that may want some space, and can keep less social pets safe on walks in busy neighborhoods. I am also very comfortable being as hands-on as necessary with pets; I can crate/collar/bathe as needed.

“Very communicative. Very prompt. Took wonderful care of my furry and feathered nursing home! My eclectus parrot is almost 20, my dog is going on 14 and my cat is nearing 11”

About: With over a decade of hands on experience in pet sitting and training, I bring a level of care and professionalism that goes beyond the average sitter. I’m a nationally certified trainer for working dogs specializing in odor detection, and I’ve dedicated years to understanding canine behavior, obedience, and effective training techniques. I’ve personally owned dogs for over 15 years and have had the privilege of helping countless pet families care for their dogs, cats, fish, and more. Whether it’s puppy training, obedience work, or senior pet care, I’m confident handling pets of all temperaments and needs. My background in training allows me to reinforce positive behaviors while ensuring each pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for in your absence. What sets me apart is my ability to blend professional level training with a personal touch. I treat every animal like my own with respect, structure, and plenty of love. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Between owning dogs, training working dogs, and helping others with their pets, it’s something I naturally prioritize. My flexible schedule allows me to give animals the time, structure, and attention they need whether it’s daily walks, training, or overnight care. In both my home and clients' homes, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and calm environment. I stick to each pet’s routine as closely as possible feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any training or medication needs. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. Whether I’m hosting or visiting, I treat every pet like family.

About: As a family who adores both dogs and cats, we've dedicated over 8 years to teaching our son the importance of pet care responsibilities. Now, with our son entering high school and seeking to learn work ethic and financial management, we see pet care as an opportunity for him to earn and save. While I'll handle mornings and afternoons during the week, my son will join me in the evenings and weekends. Rest assured, your beloved pets will receive the same love and attention as if they were our own. I currently have a small business from home and my son is 14 and is in highschool. I'm available to stop by starting at 7:30 am and in the afternoons and in the evenings and weekends my son will join me. My schedule with my home business is pretty flexible affording me many breaks throughout the day. When caring for your pets, we will prioritize respecting your home and personal space. We understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and orderliness while ensuring that your pet's needs are met. We'll pay close attention to what makes your pet comfortable or uncomfortable, whether it's their preferred toys, feeding schedule, or favorite spots to relax. By being attentive to these details, we aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where your pet feels at ease and happy and comfortable with us.

I worked at an animal rescue through college as an animal care team member and adoption counselor. After I graduated, I started out working in animal hospital as a kennel and day camp assistant.
