About: Hi Everyone! My name is Zoe Lau, and I've had a Black Lab for 14 years. She's happy, healthy, and ridiculous. I'm joining because I have extra time this month and would love to care for some doggies. I have no professional experience with dog sitting. Still, I'm more than qualified since I've cared for my dog for numerous years, including occasionally caring for my friends and boyfriend's dog. I am a college senior and have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for the next two months, so my availability is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays and Sundays. Availability might change depending on workload. I am currently opting towards dog walking, but if you are interested in sitting, please reach out and let me know your comfort level and any restrictions I should know about!

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own, I stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society, where I help care for and socialize dogs of different temperaments and needs. I am active, reliable, and very attentive to each animal’s individual personality and routine. I enjoy providing safe, loving care, regular exercise, and meaningful companionship tailored to each dog’s needs—whether that means calm indoor time, structured walks, or active outdoor time for more energetic dogs. I work mostly remotely, so I’m home the majority of the day and can provide consistent care and attention. I do have occasional appointments, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are always checked on and cared for regularly. I’m also very active and enjoy hiking and outdoor time, so I’m happy to include pets who enjoy walks, exercise, and being out and about. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs and routine. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care or medications. In the home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and not alone for long periods, giving them consistent companionship and supervision. I keep the environment clean, calm, and stress-free, and I’m very respectful of the client’s home, treating it with care as if it were my own.

“Alyson is awesome, always on time, and always keeps us updated in how our dog does on her walks. We are using a dog walker every other week to expose our fearful dog to more people (recommended by trainer). We appreciate Alyson being part of our journey in helping our pup being less fearful.”

About: I lost my childhood dog a few years ago and it’s been too hard to get another one. I’ve come to love caring for other people’s dogs and find it gives me that companionship without the heartbreak! I’ve had a range of experience from training puppies to administering medication to elderly dogs. Whether your dog enjoys lounging around or playing at the beach, I’ll adjust myself to match their energy! I work primarily swing shift so I have all morning (until about 2pm) open to spend with your pup, take them for walks, or check in on them. I have no other pets so I can give my undivided attention to your pets and their needs! You tell me what you need and I’ll do my absolute best to make it happen! This is just as much for me as it is for your pet, so I’ll do whatever makes your pet comfortable, ranging from going outside to expend that energy or me just being present as their companion. I have a really large wrap around yard. It’s not fenced, but we have a long rope set up to clip your pet to, if necessary.
About: I’ve been helping take care of animals since I was a little girl. I’ve had and fostered dogs of all sizes and loved cats my whole life. I have experience with exotic birds, chickens, and reptiles as well! I recently moved to Waimanalo to live with my partner, who is also a petsitter, and his family. I work part time in Waimanalo a few days a week, so I’d be staying overnight with them and spending off time making sure they’re taken care of. Being mindful is something that I think is most important in regards to caring for pets. Whether it’s of their needs, location and so on.
“Alexis was awesome and took great care of Ridge. She has excellent communication and really does take pride in caring for your animals. I felt very comfortable with her and I’d be happy to have her care for my pup any day.”

About: Proud stay-at-home dog dad. Experience with large and small and in between. Always happy to have new dog friends come and stay. Fun is important to us, but safety comes first. Always looking for study breaks to walk some beautiful pups! Studying full time for now, at home. Partner works full time. Primary caretaker for our two dogs - food, meds, walks. I am home all day, with transportation. For boarding, I will be in the house almost constantly. For my own dogs, I manage their medication and feeding. We walk several times a day and get out to the dog park or the beach every day.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality and routine, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens needing patience and consistency to senior pets requiring gentle care and extra attention. I’m comfortable with special feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, basic training reinforcement, medication reminders, and providing updates with photos and messages for your peace of mind. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that keeps both you and your pet stress-free. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with animals. I plan my day around each pet’s needs, making sure they receive timely feedings, walks or playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or extended care, I’m committed to keeping pets on their regular routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I also provide regular updates with photos, giving you peace of mind that your pet is receiving the care and companionship they deserve. I care for every pet with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks or playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication if needed, and plenty of affection and companionship. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular photo and message updates so owners know their pets are safe and happy.
“Kellie is amazing! I'm so grateful we found her and our three dogs definitely are too. Kellie was punctual and personable and kept our doggies super happy while I was away. We will definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her to others. Thank you again Kellie!”

“Kylie was extremely sweet and punctual (we met at the dog park). I needed help with taking Olive to the park due to a mild knee injury. Kylie was ready to help supervise Olive, who is still young and needs breaks during play to encourage good manners. Kylie would throw the ball and distract Olive as needed so she could engage in calmer play with other dogs. Kylie obviously likes animals and was warm to Olive who is a messy water drinking and likes to play with wet dirt cover tennis balls at the park.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 6 1/2 or 7; they always gravitate towards me! Constantly caring for any lovely pets big to small in and out of my neighborhood from the age of 10. From senior care to newborns I’ve been pet sitting for a long while. Just because most dogs are bigger than me doesn’t mean I won’t tackle them so they get a proper brushing or a nice bath! Birds, Guinea pigs and bunnies, too. Since I’m currently unemployed my schedule is extremely flexible I'm available most weekdays after 9am. Weekend availability varies and will have to be discussed 1o1 I work extremely diligently with written rules and verbal explanations, I adjust to you and your pets needs and act accordingly. Im attentive and your satisfaction along with your pets health is my number one priority. I try to form bonds with any and all animals I will be spending time with whether it’s an hour or 2 days. I try to leave great impressions on the hearts of people and creatures

I currently do not work, rover is the only job I do full-time, so I am almost always available to dog sit. I love dogs, and would love to make yours apart of my weekly routine. About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds for years and would love to be of service to someone who needs help on the weekends, early mornings, or evenings. I would be happy to sit and hang out with an elderly dog or take your active pup on a hike. When I’m not with your dog, I’m working at castle hospital, at the gym or doing photography. I work 8-4pm Monday to Friday so I’m open to early morning walks or evening check ins until 10pm. Open to flexible needs on the weekends and holiday coverage. I currently live with a husky so it would be best if I came to your home. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats so I can’t be around them but dogs are okay!
About: One-on-one, in-home dog boarding on Oahu for local dogs and dogs visiting the island. I care for just one dog, or two from the same household, at a time, with lots of hands-on time and attention throughout the day. Whether you live here or you're visiting Oahu with your dog, they won't be left to cope alone in a kennel or group setting. Days are active and hands-on: play, structure, and one-on-one attention, not hours in a crate. My fully fenced quarter-acre gives dogs room to run, sniff, and settle into a calm, predictable home routine. The result: steady, attentive care, so locals can travel and visitors can explore the island, without second-guessing where their dog is staying. I care for a blind and deaf dog for two hours daily. While I am out, your dog will be inside the home that was specifically created with your dog comfort. Each day follows a calm, structured rhythm based on the individual dog. Mornings begin with outdoor movement, followed by relaxed, unhurried meals. The day balances activity and rest, with space to move, play, and decompress, while gentle guidance is naturally integrated throughout. Evenings are calm and predictable, allowing each dog to fully settle in a safe, peaceful home with one-on-one attention..

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waimanalo Beach
Miki and her husband were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond all of my expectations while caring for my 4-year-old Labrador, Mana. They kept him active and happy by taking him on hikes, to the beach, and to parks, and it was clear he was treated like part of their family. They sent me photos and updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I was able to truly relax during my trip knowing Mana was in such loving and capable hands. I couldn’t be happier with the care they provided. Mana came home happy, healthy, and pooped which is great for our super active dog. I highly recommend Miki and her husband to anyone looking for exceptional pet sitters, and I will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby!

Anna has been a godsend to us. She is reliable without fail, trustworthy, and especially loving to our fur baby. She has helped care for her on short notice and provided peace of mind knowing GG would be in good hands. We are so so sad to see her go, but we love her for the time we had and hope all her dreams come true! Anna we will miss you and think of you often 💕

Skyla is absolutely the best! Today the weather is crazy raining and she still made it to take my babies out for short walk. I appreciate her so much and she gives such peace of mind for me while I’m at work! She’s so attentive and patient with my babies! Can’t say enough how awesome she is! Mahalo nui Skyla!🙏
