“Lauren and Dale’s home is most welcoming for dogs! This is our 2nd time entrusting them with our pup. Lauren is attentive to detail, understanding of different dogs, their needs/boundaries, super patient, and a dog whisperer! She is able to execute little details that help make our pup comfy and warm at their home. Lauren has also dealt with our pup starting her first cycle while we were away! She was soooooo patient to help our pup be safe and clean during her stay and managed to make it work even though our pup did not like diapers! Lauren sent so many updates throughout the stay that made us feel so happy that our pup was enjoying and having the time of her life! We can’t forget to mention their wonderful family of boys that also play with our pup and teach her new tricks. They are so loving and respectful of the dogs! About: Aloha! Official animal lover here, who’s had and taken care of various types of pets from Tarantulas, Turtles, Hamsters, Gerbils, Chameleons, parakeets, frogs, to rabbits, fish, cats and dogs! I would love to watch your furbaby and take great care of her/him! I’m experienced with caring for dogs and cats of all stages, big or small. I like to exercise, so your dog will get plenty of exercise (walk or run) with me:) I also speak Japanese and Spanish! I do not work, but do travel often to mainland as I have elderly parents. So when I’m on island I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. My husband works from home, we recently bought a spacious single-family home with a yard and large lanai, so your dogs can enjoy hanging out inside or outside.

About: I will take care of your fur babies as I do my own! Comfortability is key and I can accommodate to any special needs as needed! I work full time from home, but not working everyday. I have a lot of free time and will be able to cater to your fur babies, and take them on adventures! I have a fenced yard and dog park near by that I go to everyday. Dogs are free to roam around my house and the backyard! They will feel right at home with my little pug.

About: I’ve been the primary caretaker for my dog for the past 7 years, handling everything from daily walks and feedings to baths and medication. I walk him at least four times a day and try to get in a longer mile-ish walk a few times a week so he can explore at his own pace. I’ve also cared for several friends’ dogs for multi-day stays ranging from a couple of days to over a week. Between that and growing up around pets, I’m very comfortable reading a dog’s personality and routine. My wife has lived with dogs her whole life as well, so our home is very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the couch and our own dog sleeps in bed with us. I’ve also done a fair bit of basic training with him. I taught him “wait” (stay), helped him get comfortable with paw cleaning after walks, and even set up a little “dog nest” on the bed that he now uses as his sleeping spot. I’m attentive to routines, meds, and the little details that make pets feel comfortable. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m around most of the time and able to give dogs attention, bathroom breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Our normal routine is a morning outing, one in the afternoon, another around 5–6pm, and a final one around 9pm before bed. If a dog needs to go out sooner or starts pawing at the door, I’m always happy to take them out. I try to fit in longer walks when the weather and work schedule allow, usually in the evenings. Because I’m home during the day, pets aren’t left alone for long stretches and get plenty of interaction. I work from home and have a wrap-around fenced yard, so dogs have plenty of safe space to wander and get fresh air. I keep a close eye on them when they’re outside and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax and make themselves comfortable. Our home is very dog friendly, and we’re used to having pets around. If a dog needs to be crated for sleeping or while we step out briefly, we do have a crate available. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, and any specific instructions from owners. I’m also happy to send photos or videos throughout the stay so you can see how your pet is doing.

About: Have had dogs most of my life. We have a safe and comfortable space for dogs to run around in. I also take morning and evening walks to keep them busy. Flexible with our schedule! I am home all day so will be with your pup the entire duration of the stay. Any nuances in schedule will be reflected on the calendar. I have an acre fenced yard that is well maintained and all grass. Plenty of activities and toys to keep them busy. I am only looking to house one dog at a time.

About: I grew up in the foothills of San Diego where I was raised with all kinds of animals! Cats, dogs, chickens, you name it! Animals aren’t just pets to me—they are members of the family and should be treated as such. I am a student on campus one day a week, and the other days are spent doing remote field work. Because of this I have a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and giving care to your furry loved ones. Although this is a New York City apartment, it is quite large withs a lot of open space during the colder months when long walks become a little shorter. There is a lot of room for playing fetch and such. I live on the first floor of a building which makes trips outside very easy and convenient, which is good for dogs of all ages. Additionally, there are three doors between the apartment and the street, which is helpful for the escape artist-type!
