“Jacque was a lifesaver—available on very short notice and incredibly flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. She kept me updated the whole time with prompt, sweet photos and videos, which put my mind completely at ease. Caring, reliable, and professional — I’ll definitely book her again.”

“Angela was a great dog sitter. She and her boys cared for our 14-yr old black lab, Willie. Willie bonded to Angela's son and enjoyed his visit. Willie has arthritis and is still recovering from a torn knee ligament in his rear leg. Angela took great care of him, giving him his prescribed medication and keeping him comfortable. We'd definitely recommend her and we look forward to using her pet sitting services again.”
“As usual, McKenley was reliable, attentive, and caring throughout the entire stay. Communication was excellent, and our dog received outstanding care. We appreciated the regular updates and peace of mind while we were away!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I was hesitant. Dale and Lauren (and family) were fantastic communicators and I received multiple updates each day. You can tell they have a lot of experience and understand dogs really well. Kukui got tons of belly rubs, soft cushions to sleep on, and plenty of fun interaction. In the past, Kukui has eaten only sparingly when we are away. He had a healthy appetite at Dale & Lauren's house -- a testament on how relaxed he was.”

“They are so attentive to the dogs needs. This was our first time leaving our younger dog and we were worried she wouldn’t do well. She respected the dogs boundaries, followed their queues and they quickly became family to them. Received so many pictures and videos to put our minds at ease. Could not recommend them anymore!!”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing with my two furbabies! One who never slept out and the other who didn’t get along with other dogs, she understood them and their needs! And to top that off, she took this job with only a day’s notice! I recommend and have her saved for future trips 🫶🏼”

“We had a wonderful experience with Yvette. She took excellent care of our dog for an entire week and gave us great peace of mind with regular updates and photos. It was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter”

“Carmen and Cameron did an amazing job watching my dogs overnight. My dogs were quickly put at ease by their care and had a fun time on their walks to the beach. Carmen was also excellent with communication and sharing updates. Overall it was a great experience for both myself and my dogs!”

“Mari was great with our dog. She sent updates and pictures while we were away. She took extra steps on planning what she will do in case of approaching storm. It made me more confident to go on our family trip. I highly recommend her and appreciate her.”

“We were a little anxious in finding a sitter for our dog since it would be his first time away from home. After meeting Rebecca and her daughter for the first time at a meet and greet, we felt at ease since they were really nice and our dog seemed to like them. Prior to our dog's first stay with them, Rebecca would always be prompt to reply to our concerns and needs. Upon dropping him off for his stay, Rebecca and her family welcomed our dog with open arms. She sent us updates and lots of pictures and videos - we felt he was loved and knew he was well taken care of. Picking him up, he was happy to see me but I could tell he would miss his new friends. We will be using Rebecca again since we feel we are not dropping our dog off to a sitter, but to family. Thank you Rebecca and family!”

“Danica is great, she took care of my Tamago like her own. Daily multiple updates and lots of snuggles for my kid. Couldn’t be happier to have left Tamago in her care.”

“We absolutely love Miki! And Phoenix is such a great companion to Tucker. Thank you for the sweet updates and pictures of their daily adventures. Genuinely caring and kind humans and pups. We love them!”

“Taylor is great!! Pongo had a great time with her again!! She took him for walks and gave him lots of snuggles, he was a happy boy and was excited to go stay with her! Highly recommend, will definitely use her again!”
“Thank you Eugene and family. They cared for my very energetic Golden retriever, Maisie. I was able to enjoy my family vacation without worrying about her needs and so much more, being met. They sent photos, exercised her, and gave her lots of love, and included her in their family time. This family loves dogs and it shows. They went above and beyond for Maisie! ?”

“James was absolutely awesome! This was our first time using Rover and what a great experience with James. From our first meet with him and our dog, James was kind and gracious. Our dog I almost didn't want to come back with us! Thank you James for everything and hope to see you again!”

“We could not be more pleased by how well our dog was cared for this past week! We were sent updates with photos daily and could see that our dog was relaxed and happy. Both Sis and her husband clearly love animals and we're happy to have found a wonderful dog sitter nearby! Thank you!”

“Abigail and her family took wonderful care of our dog, Yuzu, while we were away for two weeks. Daily photos including trips to the beach and the park put our minds at ease, and we would definitely have Yuzu stay with her family again in the future!”

“Brody had a fantastic stay. He is one tired pup now and that can only be down to the incredible attention and playtime he got whilst with Jay and the family. They provided photos and videos frequently. Kept us up to date on anything important and gave Brody so much love and attention. I think he’s going to be missing his buddies for a while! Thank you for taking such good care of him 🐾”

“Eugene and his family took great care of my cat while I was away. My cat received lots of play time and cuddles, and seemed very happy when I arrived home. I definitely recommend Eugene!”
“Alyssa was great. She took care of my senior adopted Siamese Sarah with love and care, and made sure I received updates on how everything was going per visit. I highly recommend Alyssa and will definitely request her services again when I need to leave town.”

“Rebecca was great at communicating and sending pics of my boys. They can be a little shy at times and she was great about being respectful of their space but still trying to get them to come out of their shell! I highly recommend her!”

“Julie has watched my cat several times and it’s always been great! She takes good care of the cat and the house, and when I come home everything is in great shape. Communication is super easy and I get plenty of pics of my fur baby while I’m gone!”

“I am so happy to have found Alice! She made the time to meet my two cats and they love her!! She managed to make my shy boy feel comfortable and safe, as he is easily distracted and afraid of strangers. She asked for clarification and suggestions on how to feed them, given my girl is hungry all the time and my boy is not food motivated at all. Alice helped me modify my Rover request to add a visit. I'm so thankful to have been able to leave my cats in her care. I will definitely hire her again in the future!”

“Andrea was wonderful. She took great care of our shy boy Julius and went above and beyond. We were so grateful to know we had someone kind, caring and responsible while we were away. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Marie is AMAZING!! She is so loving and thorough with taking care of my furrbabies, I always have peace of mind when I am away because I know they will be loved and well taken care of 😸”

“Mary-Ann was great. Attentive to each cats personality. Knew when to play and knew when they just needed love (lots of pets). She helped put our mind at ease while traveling.”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve grown up caring for Labs, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, Border Collies, Huskies, and a Mini Goldendoodle — so I understand everything from high-energy working breeds to small companion dogs. When I was 14 years old, I became the primary caregiver for my Chihuahua, who was under a year old when we brought her home. I cared for her throughout her entire life, including providing attentive, compassionate senior care as her needs changed in her later years. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to adjust care as dogs age. I’ve also cared for an energetic Husky, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs who need structured exercise and mental stimulation. I raised my Mini Goldendoodle from 6 weeks old and handled all of her training, so I’m confident working with puppies and reinforcing good habits. I truly believe dogs deserve an enriching life beyond the home. I love beach walks and hikes, and I tailor each outing to match a dog’s energy level and personality. While dogs may be part of our world, to them we are their whole world — and I care for every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work remotely from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Being home throughout the day allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention for dogs in my care. During working hours, I’m available for shorter walks (up to 30 minutes), drop-ins, and in-home care. My meeting schedule varies day to day, so timing during work hours will need flexibility, but I always communicate clearly to coordinate a time that works best. After 3:00 PM, I have full availability for longer walks, outings, and dedicated time with your dog. In My Home: Dogs staying with me have access to my office/guest room, the main living areas, and a fully fenced backyard at all times. Because I work remotely from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, I’m home throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. Dogs are never isolated and can stay near me while I work, helping them feel comfortable and secure. They’ll also have the opportunity to play with my docile and friendly Mini Goldendoodle, Nova, who loves having company. Of course, I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and will separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I provide regular walks, playtime, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level — whether that’s relaxed outdoor time or more active exercise. I follow feeding schedules, routines, and any specific care instructions closely to make the transition from your home to mine as smooth as possible. Drop-In Visits (Client’s Home): For drop-ins, I focus on keeping your dog’s routine consistent in their familiar environment. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I always respect your home and leave it exactly as I found it, and I provide updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Dune has been loving Alyson's drop in visits to let him out during the day when we are working. She has great communication and sends lots of photos. She has good attention to detail and does more than asked, like checking his water bowl. Definitely recommend!”

“Lauren and her family took great care of our Penny! Lauren was really good at providing us with updates, photos and videos. Penny actually passed out on the way home and slept for much longer than she usually does so I know that she must have stayed busy.”

“James is the BEST ever! He takes care of our fur baby, Maya, like she is his own. She LOVES him and is so excited to see him!! We are so fortunate to have found her BFF!!”

I would love to watch your furbaby and take great care of her/him! I’m experienced with caring for dogs of all stages, big or small. I like to exercise, so your dog will get plenty of exercise (walk or run) with me:) I also speak Japanese and Spanish! I do not work, but do travel often to mainland as I have elderly parents. So when I’m on island I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. My husband works from home, and we recently bought a spacious single-family home with a yard and large lanai, so your dogs can enjoy hanging out inside or outside.

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own, I stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society, where I help care for and socialize dogs of different temperaments and needs. I am active, reliable, and very attentive to each animal’s individual personality and routine. I enjoy providing safe, loving care, regular exercise, and meaningful companionship tailored to each dog’s needs—whether that means calm indoor time, structured walks, or active outdoor time for more energetic dogs. I work mostly remotely, so I’m home the majority of the day and can provide consistent care and attention. I do have occasional appointments, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are always checked on and cared for regularly. I’m also very active and enjoy hiking and outdoor time, so I’m happy to include pets who enjoy walks, exercise, and being out and about. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs and routine. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care or medications. In the home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and not alone for long periods, giving them consistent companionship and supervision. I keep the environment clean, calm, and stress-free, and I’m very respectful of the client’s home, treating it with care as if it were my own.

“Rebekah is amazing! She’s so considerate and puts so much care into watching my little dog Edgar :) After every daycare day, you can tell he’s had lots of fun and is so content. Her little dog Nova is also an angel, very polite and playful! Could not recommend Rebekah enough!”

About: My husband and I have always cared for and owned dogs, but we currently don’t have one and are missing our fur friends! I recently moved from England to Hawaii to join my husband here for work, and before welcoming a dog of our own, we’d love to spend time caring for yours! I will be the primary caregiver, as I work fully from home. Back in England, I looked after my mom’s dog almost every day for the past six years whenever I wasn’t working at the hospital, as I worked from home a lot too. I also regularly cared for friends’ and family’s dogs for overnight stays, weekends and holidays. In fact, I became the go-to dog sitter in our little English village! As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and I bring that same level of patience, compassion, and commitment to every dog I care for. We know that every dog has their own unique personality and routine, and we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and so very loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, we’ll care for them as if they were our own! I (Carmen) will be the primary caregiver, with Cam (husband) home in the evenings for cuddles and post-dinner beach walks with us. I currently work from home, part-time as a UK-registered Dietitian. I’d love a fur colleague to keep me company! I walk, run or swim at the beach every morning or lunchtime and evenings too, and Kalama Beach is only a 10 minute walk from our house. My husband who is as pup-obsessed as me works with the military (he’s a ex-marine officer) so he’s not around as much but he would absolutely love doggy kisses to welcome him home after work. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We have a large shared yard that is fully enclosed, with two access points that we securely block off whenever a dog is outside, so they can enjoy the space safely under our supervision. We share the yard with three lovely neighboring couples who are also dog lovers, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Our home is a spacious two-story, three-bedroom house with plenty of room for your pup to relax. After beach adventures or muddy walks, we even have two bathtub showers ready for rinsing off sandy paws and giving your dog a little spa treatment! We’ll follow your dog’s usual routine, provide lots of love and attention, and ensure they’re always supervised and cared for as if they were our own.

My time in a veterinary hospital has also given me valuable experience working with animals of all temperaments, allowing me to stay calm, patient, and attentive in any situation. I’m a full-time pet sitter, which means your pet gets my complete time, attention, and care. I’m dedicated to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved, and that their time with me is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They sent tons of pictures throughout her stay and kept me updated. Eugene’s wife even made Nalu’s meal extra yummy with chicken and broth. Nalu can’t wait for her next stay!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind for over 6 years! They bring me ultimate joy, so why not make it a full-time job? I currently do not work, rover is the only job I do full-time, so I am almost always available to dog sit. I love dogs, and would love to make yours apart of my weekly routine. I have a community dog park in my neighborhood that your dogs will love. I would take the pups out on walks (if it’s not too hot), or just snuggle them all day if that’s what they wanted. I would show them ultimate love and attention while they are in my care!

About: I have had a dog of my own all my life. I love animals and I have taken care of my friends and family pets for a while now. I am currently working part time along with going to school but my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m willing to work around anyone’s schedule. I live in a pet-friendly apartment. The living area is extremely clean and open for your pets to roam around and has room for a kennel if necessary.
“Kylie was extremely sweet and punctual (we met at the dog park). I needed help with taking Olive to the park due to a mild knee injury. Kylie was ready to help supervise Olive, who is still young and needs breaks during play to encourage good manners. Kylie would throw the ball and distract Olive as needed so she could engage in calmer play with other dogs. Kylie obviously likes animals and was warm to Olive who is a messy water drinking and likes to play with wet dirt cover tennis balls at the park.”

“Very happy with her services. They walk my dogs when we are going to be out the house for a while. They always update us how they do on their walks and send us pictures. Very reliable!”

About: I bring hands-on experience and a genuine passion for animal care. Back in Arizona, I’ve cared for my own 4 dogs and 2 cats since I was ten, giving me years of firsthand knowledge about different breeds, temperaments, and needs. Additionally, I spent three months as a live-in volunteer for an animal rescue and have worked briefly at a shelter, further expanding my expertise in handling animals with diverse personalities and care requirements. Whether it’s training puppies, providing extra attention to senior pets, or managing unique behavioral traits, I’m confident in my ability to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently a student at the University of Hawaii, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week and weekends. Being an active person, I love walking, running, and hiking—so if you have an energetic dog, I’d be thrilled to help keep them active and happy. Pet care naturally fits into my routine, as I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying busy, making it easy to give your pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I prioritize the safety and well-being of pets by following all care instructions, ensuring secure environments, and staying alert to any health concerns. I respect your home, maintain confidentiality, and provide reliable, professional service. By creating a calm and positive atmosphere, I ensure pets feel happy and cared for in your absence.
About: .One-on-one, in-home boarding for dogs who don’t do well in kennels or group settings. Only one dog or two from the same household is cared for at a time, with a near full-time presence so your dog is rarely left alone. Care is active and hands-on throughout the day. Dogs are engaged with, guided, and supported. Set on a fully fenced quarter-acre, there’s space to move, relax, and settle into a calm, structured home environment.

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful! In fact, she's such a great sitter that I almost hesitate to write this review because selfishly, I'd love to keep her availability to myself! This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise! Samantha is truly a sweetheart, and it's obvious that she has a genuine love for animals and a heart for what she does. The care, attention, and affection she showed our puppy exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful we came across Samantha and couldn't recommend her more highly. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Tara was awesome and took great care of our dog! She communicated clearly and regularly, including sending pictures, which we really appreciated. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Here’s a warm and appreciative Rover review you can post for Daylin: Daylin did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was away! She made sure to walk and feed her on schedule and kept me updated every day with pictures. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was well taken care of and getting the attention she needed. I really appreciate how responsible, caring, and attentive Daylin was. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!”

“Greg was great. I was very anxious to be off island for a couple weeks since we hadn't needed a dog sitter since moving to Oahu over a year before. He sent pictures nearly every day and checked in with us. Communicated very well. His home is a dog retreat and we think Giz may have had an even better vacation than we did!”

About: I am experienced with senior dogs who need extra care. Diapers, medication or gentle care I am experienced with. I’ve grown up with both small and large dogs my entire life. “Rose was great! We boarded Luna with her for a week and we got daily updates including pictures and videos. Luna was treated like a family member and got daily walks and lots of snuggles. Rose was super responsive and helped us be at ease with her stay.”

“I don’t even know where to begin to explain how great Alex is… She took such excellent care of our furry girl, and sent multiple pictures and videos every day. I would highly recommend you consider being your pet with her as she is probably one of the Best on Oahu. We will definitely use her services again in the future … A+”

“Naudia was excellent! She was great at communicating with me before and during our (my dogs) stay and even sent me pictures of them playing and exercising while I was gone. The dogs were best friends with her dog Duke by the time I picked them up and”
