About: I've had a dog ever since I was about 6 years old. I'm just turned 25 so that's just about 20 years of experience! I've started pet sitting and housesitting when I was 15 years old. I have taken care of all kinds of breeds from goldens, to herding dogs, and (my personal faves) bully breeds. I can work with all types of temperaments and energy levels :) I am currently serving active duty in the Marine Corps, so my days can look quite different, which is why I prefer weekends. During the week days I have PT starting at 5:30AM and don’t get off of work until 4:30. However I do have a 2 hour window during lunch from 11-1, but that is not always guaranteed. On the weekends I am completely open! I go to church on Sundays but other than that I am available. For overnights I prefer to come to the house at least a day in advance in order to see where everything is and what set up the pet(s) have. During the stay I try my best to send updates with pictures to ensure the pet owner is kept in the loop on a daily basis!

About: My dogs have always been my best friends. I have had experience with small, medium, and large dogs. I am careful to listen to and respect the routine and rules that you have for your fur baby, no matter how big or small. I’m a big fan of taking them for walks on the beach and shady hikes! I also love a good excuse to drive around looking for a good place for my pup to stretch her legs, or be a good cuddle buddy. I am currently a small business owner in private practice as a healthcare provider. Dog sitting was something I loved doing for many years, but paused to do to care for my senior dog for the last 3 years. I know it takes a lot of trust for someone to care for your fur baby, and I am a trusted member of the community. I always leave homes cleaner than they are left. My reviews are older because of the break I took from Rover to care for my senior pup, but I still value the same service.

About: From the first day I was born, I was surrounded by cocker spaniel puppies of my mother's. I was raised to care of different types of animals from dogs, cats, fish, turtle, bunnies, and mice! I have a great fondness and love for animals, especially dogs. We lost our 9 year old Maltese last August and would like to take care and provide some love for other dogs. I've house-sit/dog-sit my neighbor's black lab since 2008, and occasionally dog sit my friend's Australian Shepherd-Corgi mix puppy. I've also house-sit/dog-sit my coworkers black German Shepard several nights last year. I'm sometimes described as a dog whisperer, as dogs have had a natural fondness and friendliness with me. About: I grew up in a household that loves animals. I’ve always had dogs around whether it was my own or I was taking care of others dogs. I also worked as a bather for over a year so I have experience with all kinds of dogs, big and small, old and young. About: Aloha! My name’s Mackenzie and I genuinely love animals. I worked at a humane society in California where I grew up, and I’ve cared for many dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve lived on Oʻahu for the past three years, and I have two cats of my own. I also grew up around dogs, cats, and other animals, so being around pets has always been a huge part of my life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, supplements, walks, playtime, and more complicated care schedules. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and attention like they’re my own 🐾 I work in Waikīkī, so I’m available for drop-in visits before and after work and on my days off. For boarding, I’m typically away for about 6 hours during my shift. Your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care before I leave and as soon as I get home. I follow feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, and any instructions carefully. Visiting cats stay in their own private room, completely separate from my two resident cats, to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. For longer stays, if both cats seem interested and ONLY if the owner is comfortable with it, I may allow short, supervised play sessions to help with enrichment and socialization.

About: Hello, my name's Rachel and I'm a 3rd year student at Drexel University. I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I just finished working at Penn Vet Working Dog Center in assisting to train working dogs that are trained for different disciplines such as; search and rescue, explosives, narcotics and medical detection. I'm experienced with very high energy and strong dogs. I believe I can handle and provide the best care for your dog. I believe both my profession and personal experience with dogs and cats has helped me gain the skills necessary to work with almost any dog. I have some experience caring for a blind and diabetic dog and feel it would not be an issue to aid those dogs with special needs.
