I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

Hailey and Benjamin made everything easy from the first meet and great, slowly introducing their dogs one at a time and then letting them all roam around their yard, to the first drop off. I worked with a group when I lived in Kansas City that did short term in-home dog fostering for 1 day to two weeks. My puppy experience comes from a few of my friends having puppies, but adult dogs are my favorite. I work full time from home, and can schedule walks in between meetings during the day. If the dog(s) are up for it I would love to take them hiking, SUPing, kayaking, to the beach, and to hang out with my friend's dogs. About: I’ve cared for friends and family dogs since 2020, offering boarding, sitting, and even basic training to keep pups happy and learning. I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Pup care fits easily into my daily routine since I currently have plenty of free time and love spending it with animals. I’m living on base and unemployed right now, so my schedule is very flexible — which means I can give pets my full attention for walks, playtime, and keeping them comfortable throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every walk is safe, fun and suited to their energy level. If your pup prefers staying cozy at home, I’m just as happy to play with them in their own comfort zone.
About: My dogs have always been my best friends. I have had experience with small, medium, and large dogs. I am careful to listen to and respect the routine and rules that you have for your fur baby, no matter how big or small. I’m a big fan of taking them for walks on the beach and shady hikes! I also love a good excuse to drive around looking for a good place for my pup to stretch her legs, or be a good cuddle buddy. I am currently a small business owner in private practice as a healthcare provider. Dog sitting was something I loved doing for many years, but paused to do to care for my senior dog for the last 3 years. After recently losing her, and not being ready for a new love of my own, I’d be honored for the opportunity to care for your pet. I work from home doing telehealth, largely from 11-4 M/W/F so I have lots of time and breaks to spend with your pet. I spend most days at home, able to provide exercise and maintain routine feeding throughout the day. I am used to administering meds on a schedule and provide frequent updates to owners (if they’d like!). I am careful to follow the house rules and your pet’s routine. I know it takes a lot of trust for someone to care for your fur baby, and I am a trusted member of the community. I am transparent about my stay in your home and understand it is a privilege to be there and be trusted to care for your animal. I provide lots of play time and cuddles! I always leave homes cleaner than they are left. My reviews are older because of the break I took from Rover to care for my senior pup, but I still value the same service.
About: Growing up I always took care of all my neighbors’ dogs, cats, and even cows. I have 2 cat fur babies of my own and grew up with a crazy energetic golden retriever. I have loved adopting my friends’ dogs as my own as well. I will happily feed, walk, play with and love on your pet as my own. I have base access as well if needed. I am available for dog walking M-F and drop in visits any day of the week. My preference for hours is between 8-5pm but flexible as needed. I am very responsive in my communication should you ever need to get a hold of me. I am always happy to provide photos. I understand pets are family! I am located on Camp Pendleton for easy base access as well.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds for years and would love to be of service to someone who needs help on the weekends, early mornings, or evenings. I would be happy to sit and hang out with an elderly dog or take your active pup on a hike. When I’m not with your dog, I’m working at castle hospital, at the gym or doing photography. I work 8-4pm Monday to Friday so I’m open to early morning walks or evening check ins until 10pm. Open to flexible needs on the weekends and holiday coverage. I currently live with a husky so it would be best if I came to your home. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats so I can’t be around them but dogs are okay!

Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise!
