About: I’ve taken care of many dogs throughout my life of all ages. I’ve had a few dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies. I’ve had neighbors ask me to pet sit for them. I can bathe, feed, walk, and play with your animals! I am in Waco Texas and am available any weekend to look after your pets! I am only not available Sunday mornings because I’ll be at church! I can do most anything you ask of me. I will also do the basics: walking, feeding, keeping an eye on their health, entertaining, etc.
“Ray goes above and beyond to care for Cinder in our absence. I love the photos and updates he sends and I can enjoy our travels knowing Cinder is being looked after by Ray. He's the best!”

About: I have grown up with 3 different dogs of very different personalities. Learning how to train them, care for them, and groom them was a large responsibility of mine. When I was around 9, I started caring for neighborhood pets. For several families I have continuously been an overnight caregiver, and for many additional families I have been a regular dog walker. These jobs have given me all kinds of experience with many different kinds of animals. Whether it’s a 150lb of pure muscle machine or an anxious ankle-biter, I strive to love them in the best way possible! My schedule is very flexible and this service brings me so much joy- no matter the time or place! I am passionate about every kind of animal— big or small, rowdy or tame, scaly or fluffy— I want to make sure that they are in the best hands! For this summer, I am only working free-lance/part-time jobs! In the summer and winter I am in Castle Rock, CO, and then during the school year I am in Waco, Texas. For care in a clients home, I will check in as frequently as possible and as often as the client requests. I will spend intentional time being present with the animals and be careful and aware of every need. In my home, the pets will have a gated backyard to play in, a thousand toys, and a kennel available if the clients desire. We have one dog at home who is incredibly friendly, but can also be separated or in a different area if needed.

“Brittany was awesome!! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous about leaving our girls, but Brittany made it a great experience. She kept us up to date with pictures and comments. She even went above and beyond and brought our packages inside for us. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Another great sit and walking sessions with Erica! We always feel our 3 dogs are in great care with Erica and can tell from the photos that they are excited to see her and enjoy the time well spent while we are away. Great to have a reliable sitter and someone we can trust to care for our dogs.”

About: Growing up with large, high-energy dogs has given me plenty of experience providing the exercise, structure, and care they need to stay happy and healthy. I'm comfortable handling energetic dogs on walks, runs, and play sessions while making sure they stay safe and engaged. I understand that active breeds need both physical activity and attention, and I enjoy keeping up with their energy. i have also cared for senior dogs who require patience and support. Whether it is helping them up and down stairs, carrying them when needed, or adjusting their exercise to match their abilities. I am committed to making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I believe every dog deserves care that is tailored to their individual needs, whether they are energetic puppies or a senior dog who needs a little help. I am active, dependable, and comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their furry family member is in good hands. I am currently a student, so early mornings or afternoons are the best times for me to play with your pups. I am also available all weekend. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it my priority to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. During walks, I pay close attention to each dog's energy level, behavior, and surroundings to ensure they stay safe and have an enjoyable experience. I always use secure leashes, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise for their age and ability. In a client's home, I treat both the pet and the home with respect. I will follow any feeding schedule, medication instructions, or specific care requests. My goal is to build trust with both pets and their owners by providing reliable, attentive care and regular updates so owners have peace of mind while they are away.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life. From neighbors dogs to complete new dogs i have found a connection with them and have had so much joy taking care of them. I am a part time employee at In-n-Out. I usually never work long shifts so in the days i’ll go to the beach for long walks or just find ways to enjoy the sun and the outside. I have a fenced front and back yard with grass in the front as well as a white lab to keep your babies entertained and happy. I have an energetic and friendly personality no matter the house i’m in.
About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. My normal weekly schedule has me available Mondays and Tuesdays after 1pm and Wednesday through Friday I am available after 11am. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

About: Long time dog lovers adopted by a pregnant stray cat shortly before our precious senior Brittanys passed. Our pet love has grown! 💜 I do miss the dog walks and silliness, and would be happy to share that again. I have a flexible schedule, and while our cats are mostly pretty chill, we have a separate space they can go if things feel tricky. At present I am a stay at home mom to one elementary aged child so my hours are flexible throughout the week. My husband frequently works from home and we are a pretty low key family of introverts. We have a large fenced yard for play and love to take walks on leashes. Our home is pet friendly and cozy. We have two cats who have their own space they can retreat to when needed. Our son is in kindergarten and has been around pets since birth.
About: After I moved to Waco in 2017, I quickly built my Rover business to over 50 canine and feline clients. I currently have one dog, a rescued pit/cattle dog mix named Shya. She’s a little shy at first but loves people. She loves to play tug and catch, but is a fetch master! She enjoys other dogs in a one-on-one setting, especially when chasing each other is involved! I grew up with 4 cats, a turtle, and 5 dogs. I was 10 years old when I began sitting my neighbor’s dog. I’ve raised three dogs from puppyhood 4 months or younger. Three I trained from a year old. Each dog has been wonderful and taught me something different about canine care. To learn what made my dogs tick, I worked for 7 years with a top positive reinforcement behavioral dog trainer and learned a lot about canine body language, different training tools and approaches, and selecting quality food, treats, and toys. Send me a message and book your spot today! (I accept all breeds.) I currently work part-time with a fairly flexible schedule. Drop-in care is a great way for me to keep pet care in my life and offer my clients peace of mind. My clients love having their pets stay in the safety and comfort of their own homes. I tailor drop-in visits to the specific needs of each client and their pets and provide consistent and detailed communication throughout my time with their pets. I send lots of pictures and videos!
About: I've taken care of little puppies, dogs with belly issues, and dogs with a tendency for getting into mischief. I am up for anything and have a deep care for excellence and integrity. Your pet's safety and enjoyment is my top priority. I am finishing up grad school this Fall semester with an internship and a part-time job. I am usually out of the house for 3 to 6 hours during the day (this can vary depending on the pets specific needs), but I am naturally a homebody, so if I can be home, that’s where I’ll be. Mondays and Thursdays I have a night class from 6 to 10 PM (minus one Thursday a month). Tuesday nights I have a church engagement from 7 to 9:30 PM. Aside from those commitments, I am *usually* at home the other nights of the week. On Saturday, I’m usually home for a good chunk of the day, minus maybe three hours here and there. Sundays, I go to church in the morning but am back at the house making lunch and doing chores, until I need to leave to run errands or get much needed quality time with friends. If owners allow me to have friends over, it means that I get more quality time with their fur babies, but I always ask beforehand and respect whatever the owner prefers. I am a homebody and so enjoy spending time with the dogs (and/or cats) that I take care of, whether that’s playing fetch, giving lots of ear and belly rubs, running around the house or just resting for those senior pets. With that being said, because I have quite a bit scheduled out of the house this semester, I will probably work best with dog owners who don’t need someone at their house 24/7. My goal is open communication and to serve pet owners in a way that works best for them. Whenever I dog sit at the owner's home, I take on the motto: "leave it looking better than when you arrived." I walk in a deep conviction for taking care of other people's things. I am transparent and value open communication. It is best that I take care of your pet in your home since my home lacks a backyard and adequate space for play.

About: I’ve been around animals ever since I was young. Back home it was a daily occurrence to wake up early and feed all the animals. From cows to chickens and cats to dogs, I have been around all of them. I throughly enjoy being around animals and currently missing my Australian Shepard back home. I’m currently attending college right now, so I have massive blocks in my schedule and even times for overnight care. Most of my homework does not require me to be on campus so it is easy to house sit when necessary. I can even check on animals during breaks between classes. At my current house, I have a massive backyard and located within a quarter mile of Thomas Park. The backyard has lots of shade and will always have plenty of water. When my dog comes up, he loves the backyard and walking around the park.
“Tiffany had great communication and showed up right on time to walk Luna. We had a bit of a miscue in that our daughter took the dog and we both thought she was missing. Tiffany was super great and willing to walk the neighborhood to look for her. Thankfully it was all sorted out in short order. Tiffany will be at the top of my list next time we go on vacation.”

First time using the app as well as Coco's first time being walked by Lindsey. She was patient and very caring of coco. At first Coco would not want to go outside with her. Now Coco enjoys her walks and will go with Lindsey no problem. She is really nice and communicates very well. I appreciate her taking care of Coco. Will continue to have Coco walked by Lindsey.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
