About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.
“Kirsten is nothing of fantastic. I moved to Waco on 6/27 and started work on 6/29. I didn’t have a dog walker and found Kirsten on Rover - she has been a blessing. She how walks my dog 5 times a week and sometimes 2 walks a day. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs assistance with their pets. She professional, kind, reliable and accomodsting”

“Sara was absolutely wonderful from the moment I first messaged her. This was my first time using Rover, and no regrets at all. She was incredibly accommodating with her schedule and ours, took excellent care of our pups, and was just so sweet with them and us the whole time. 100% recommend and will certainly book with her again!! THANK YOU SARA!”

“Brittany was awesome!! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous about leaving our girls, but Brittany made it a great experience. She kept us up to date with pictures and comments. She even went above and beyond and brought our packages inside for us. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs throughout my life of all ages. I’ve had a few dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies. I’ve had neighbors ask me to pet sit for them. I can bathe, feed, walk, and play with your animals! I am in Waco Texas and am available any weekend to look after your pets! I am only not available Sunday mornings because I’ll be at church! I can do most anything you ask of me. I will also do the basics: walking, feeding, keeping an eye on their health, entertaining, etc.
“Erica goes above and beyond to take care of your pet! Let’s you know when she’s on the way, pictures when they are walking/playing, when she is leaving and even takes your pet to the vet when an emergency happens! I highly recommend Erica and will be using over and over again!”

About: I consider myself a "mother of nature," because no matter what what kind of animal it is I am a natural at nurturing everything from fur-babies to feathered friends. I grew up with dogs, and I've always helped my disabled mom with her 4, now senior, dogs (two pitties, a rat terrier, and a chiweenie.) I love taking them on nature walks, and I even cook chicken or ground beef and rice for them, and use holistic remedies to keep them in top shape for their ages (15+). Animal rescue also comes naturally, because I feel humans are meant to be the keepers of the earth. Every night I feed a colony of stray cats and their neighbors (raccoons, opossums, and ducks.) 😁💖 It's a joy to me to help and have fun with cats and dogs, because I love animals. That's why I'm your fur-baby's favorite auntie! If you feel like I would be a great fit for your pet, let me know when you need me to be available. I'm an entrepreneur, so I can make exceptions and be flexible with scheduling. Currently, I don't have any pets in my household, besides two cats that I allow in for feeding and sometimes sleeping at night or when the weather is bad. They usually prefers to be outside. I take my disabled mom's dogs out every evening, so it's like I have 3 dogs. Although, they don't live with me.

About: With a lifetime of dedicated experience, I offer professional, reliable care for dogs and cats. My belief centers on prioritizing your pet's comfort and happiness by treating them as my own. I maintain a safe, stimulating, and consistent routine, including strict adherence to dietary needs and medication administration, which I have personal experience with one of my previous dogs. My last 3 dogs lived to be 18 or more years old. I even had a Westie that had Addisons Disease. I was told she would not live more than a couple of years, but with daily medication and lots of extra care, she lived to be 19 years old. Whether I am walking your dog or providing transportation, I remain vigilant for any signs of distress . I find great joy in discovering each pet's unique personality and ensuring they feel loved in their own environment. My responsible and empathetic approach ensures your companions are in excellent hands. I look forward to meeting your furry, feathered, or hoofed family members and giving them the dedicated attention they deserve. NOTE: For animal sitting at your home, I will need the flexibility to tend to my own pets and my elderly mother at my home. They will be short visits and I can then return to your home. Im currently in between jobs and available any hours. Once I find a position to close out my career, ill still be available outside of my work schedule. I am open to caring for your pet in my home, depending on type and size. I also have experience with dogs that require medication.
About: I have always had cats in my life since I can remember. Now I have 3 of my own. 2 inside and one outside. I know how to feed, clean and care for all pets needs. We also now have a dog in our family and he is spoiled rotten. He likes to go on walks, play fetch All of our animals are cared for in the mornings when we wake up. Everyone gets fresh water and food. My long haired cat gets combed daily, medicine in his eyes and eyes cleaned out. By that time it is time to feed everyone I have a fenced yard for my dog and my two cats stay in the house. My outside cat comes in and out all day, eating and playing with the other kitties.

I love helping owners feel better about leaving for work and nervous about how their pets are while they’re gone. I will gladly send messages and pictures to assure your pets are well taken care of. About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was five years old, and neighbors trusted me with their pets as early as age 16. I continue to help friends and family by providing walks, playtime, and plenty of comfort and companionship for their pet. I have experience with pets of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and with dogs who have disabilities. Also small animals such as mice, hamsters, bunnies all the way up to Salcuta tortoise , I truly treat every pet like family and believe animals bring peace and joy to our lives. As I write this, I’m sitting for six dogs happily curled up at my feet and in my lap right where they belong. I currently work a shift schedule where I would be available after 2 pm or after 5 am. Hope to make this more of a full time job. Your welcome to contact me and I can let you know my schedule for the week. If needed I can ask off should I be needed for multiple days. In my home, I have a fenced yard that is perfect for both my dogs and my tortoise. I spoil my tortoise with delicious treats and ensure he stays warm in the winter. My dogs are like my kids; I take them for walks, give them treats, and shower them with love. When caring for a client's pet, I strictly follow their instructions. I provide treats if permitted, take them for walks as needed, and offer plenty of affection to ensure they feel loved. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment, helping them feel comfortable and at ease while their owners are away.
About: We are animal lovers, and have continued adding to our pack over the past 5 years. We began our Rover journey, offering boarding and day care in our home a few years ago. However, we paused our services as we adjusted to a move to Waco and were settling in with some new furry family members. We are now ready to resume services with drop in visits and dog walking. Over the years, we have cared for our friend’s and family’s pets while they are away, along with hosting dogs in our home. We have 4 dogs of our own, and are skilled in training, walking, administering medication, accommodating special dietary needs, bathing, keeping animals separated as needed, you name it. We would be honored to watch and treat your pet like one of our own. My wife works from home and I am available 3 days a week. So we will be able to keep a close eye on your pet and provide constant care for them. Because we have a flexible schedule, we will be able to take your dog on walks and potty breaks throughout the day. We love to give belly rubs, snuggles, and attention throughout the day! We will communicate well, be prompt, and will keep a watchful eye on our pet, as well as ensure safety at your home. Will follow detailed instructions if you have a certain feeding method, medication needed, or special details about walks. We will send photo updates throughout the time we are caring for your pet, don’t feel obligated to respond, just want to keep you updated with how they are doing.

Please let me know what I can do to help in any way! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I follow each client’s care instructions closely, whether it’s diet, routines, or special needs, to ensure consistency and trust. Beyond that, your fur baby will enjoy a loving, safe, and healthy environment filled with attention, play, and plenty of pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
