About: I have cared for animals my whole life in a variety of settings. I grew up with small, medium, and large dogs and experienced dogs at every stage of life. Since recently moving to Waco for graduate school, I have volunteered 20+ hours at the pet shelter, Pet Circle, working with shelter dogs and even fostering one dog in the short-term. I truly care about all animals and want to help them find and maintain loving and safe homes. From newborn puppies to seniors, large active dogs to small lap dogs, rescuing strays to dog sitting, working with shelter dogs to a mascot, caring for my own dogs to fostering, I have cared for dogs in nearly every setting possible. For the previous four years, I have house-sat for cat and dog households in houses and apartments. I tailor my care to each individual dog, including 30+ minute walks or runs for active dogs, tending to seniors who need oral medications and gentle care, and channeling puppy energy productively. For boarding, I currently live alone in a pet-friendly apartment with no current pets of my own, perfect for dogs who are shy around other pets or children, or those who simply want to be the center of my attention! Caring for pets has always been a part of my life. I'd love the opportunity to lovingly care for your pets! As a current graduate student with a part-time job, I must leave my apartment for 2-5 hours at least once per week day. However, I ensure at least one walk in the morning, midday, and evening per day and 5-6 walks/potty breaks along with a few hours to play in my apartment. Weekends I have more time to devote to your pet. Below breaks down the specifics of my weekly schedule and the expected boarding activity schedule: (**When I am away from my apartment and after the last walk of the evening, your pet will be kenneled. The duration of each walk is 20 minutes to 40 minutes. The duration of each long walk is 40 minutes to over an hour. The duration of a potty break is roughly 5 to 15 minutes. Indoor play time refers to unkenneled, supervised time for your dog to play by itself or with me, or spend time being pet by me.) Monday. Class: 9:15 a.m.-12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-8:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), two to three afternoon walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.), and two evening walks/potty breaks (9 p.m.-11 p.m.). Tuesday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one long midday walk (11 a.m.), 3-4 evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (2 p.m. - 11 p.m.). Wednesday. Work: 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30-8:30 a.m.), one to two midday walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Thursday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Work: 2 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one short midmorning potty break (optional depending upon animal needs, 9:40 a.m.-10:30 a.m.), one short afternoon walk (12:40 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.), two evening walks and indoor play time (7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Friday. Class: 11:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.), indoor play time and one midmorning walk (8:30 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.), one long afternoon walk (2:40 p.m.), two to three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Saturday. No Class. Activity Schedule. Flexible according to errand needs. Pets will be given at least 5+ hours of indoor play time, and 5-6 walks/potty breaks throughout the day. One long walk will occur during the day around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given owner's permission, in Woodway Park. Sunday. Personal Time Away: 9 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one to two morning walks/potty break (7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), four to five afternoon/evening walks/potty breaks, and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Likely one long walk will occur in the afternoon around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given the owner's permission, in Woodway Park. I live alone in a one-bedroom, pet-friendly apartment with no pets, offering a safe, indoor environment where your dog can be the center of my attention and have their own space. My apartment offers easy outdoor access with a fair amount of green space, perfect for taking your dog on walks and for potty breaks. Additionally, my apartment is a stone's throw from Baylor, so long walks are readily available if your pup requires them. When boarding or housesitting, I ensure dogs receive frequent potty breaks/walks (at least once every 2-5 hours), physical affection, and human play time, depending on each pet's unique needs. My care can change to fit your pet's regular schedule, activity, and diet. For boarding, I require kennel-trained dogs when I am away from home, and I can provide a kennel for a small to medium-sized dog. Likewise, I require the owner to drop off sufficient dog food for the duration of the stay with their pet. Other toys, bowls, beds and leashes are welcome, but not required.

About: I’ve grown up with a small dog for 12 years and taken care of family and friend’s dog. I can walk, bathe, feed, relax, and play with them! I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I can make myself free after work to take care of your fur babies as well! I have a large fenced backyard and live in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I am a type A person and will always have an eye on them especially if outside during the heat. I have no children and no pets so your pup will have my heart the entire time 💜

About: I consider myself a "mother of nature," because no matter what what kind of animal it is I am a natural at nurturing everything from fur-babies to feathered friends. I grew up with dogs, and I've always helped my disabled mom with her 4, now senior, dogs (two pitties, a rat terrier, and a chiweenie.) I love taking them on nature walks, and I even cook chicken or ground beef and rice for them, and use holistic remedies to keep them in top shape for their ages (15+). Animal rescue also comes naturally, because I feel humans are meant to be the keepers of the earth. Every night I feed a colony of stray cats and their neighbors (raccoons, opossums, and ducks.) 😁💖 It's a joy to me to help and have fun with cats and dogs, because I love animals. Currently, I don't have any pets in my household, besides two cats that I allow in for feeding and sometimes sleeping at night or when the weather is bad. They usually prefers to be outside. I take my disabled mom's dogs out every evening, so it's like I have 3 dogs. Although, they don't live with me.

About: I have parented and fostered dogs for 15 years -- they bring me so much joy! I love working with Rover because I want to help families who are in search of great care for their furry family member while they are busy or away. I absolutely adore dogs and how much they are messengers of love and healing to humans in ways that people just can’t. I believe in being service to people and to animals in order to make a difference. In addition to being a foster mom for shelter dogs when time allows, I’m work as an elementary school teacher. I have been a mommy to a Beagle, Springer Spaniel and now a Boxer, Duffy, and 4-pound Chihuahua, Gizmo, who was a foster fail. Sadly, they have all passed the rainbow bridge. I have fostered and sat for many different breeds, large and small. I have worked for a professional dog walker and sitter in the past year prior to me going back to teaching full time and have experience with opening houses to retrieve dogs for walks as well as overnight sits at a client’s home. I also have experience caring for cats as well. In my spare time, I also like to get together with friends for game time, scuba dive and run. While I live in Woodway, TX I can only take overnight sits or drop in visits, at this time. I can also take in mail, water plants, and care for other smaller animals, such as a bunny, gerbil, or lizard, for no extra charge. While I’m caring for your pup, I make sure they are comfortable by giving them the space they need or spending playtime with them. Whatever your dog needs to feel at ease, I always respond in a loving, kind and confident way. I am a full time teacher so i am available during weekends and school breaks including parts of the summer. Depending on the need of the animal, I am also open to keeping an animal while i am at work, which is now about usually 9 hours a day. I have an outside kennel available for the backyard in that case if you would like or cats (out of kennel), birds, gerbils, etc..would be inside the house. I follow directions exactly as the client requests. I make sure that your home and pets are secure and cared for at all times, either in my home or yours. I will send you pictures as frequently as you like (usually once a day) and you are free to check in with me while you are away. About: I’ve taken been responsible for taking care of my own dogs since I was 8 and have experience caring for dogs of every age. Right now I have a fur baby who is 3 years old. He was my first foster dog, and first "foster fail"! He is very spoiled and rightfully so, as he is my best friend. About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

About: I’ve been around animals ever since I was young. Back home it was a daily occurrence to wake up early and feed all the animals. From cows to chickens and cats to dogs, I have been around all of them. I throughly enjoy being around animals and currently missing my Australian Shepard back home. I’m currently attending college right now, so I have massive blocks in my schedule and even times for overnight care. Most of my homework does not require me to be on campus so it is easy to house sit when necessary. I can even check on animals during breaks between classes. At my current house, I have a massive backyard and located within a quarter mile of Thomas Park. The backyard has lots of shade and will always have plenty of water. When my dog comes up, he loves the backyard and walking around the park.
