“Sarah has been a great daily walker for Sage. He's pretty high-energy when he walks, and she handles him perfectly! She's great at communicating and helping out with random things, like letting me know if I accidentally left my garage door open and bringing in packages. I will definitely keep her on the team as long as possible!”

About: I’ve grown up with a small dog for 12 years and taken care of family and friend’s dog. I can walk, bathe, feed, relax, and play with them! I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I can make myself free after work to take care of your fur babies as well! I have a large fenced backyard and live in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I am a type A person and will always have an eye on them especially if outside during the heat. I have no children and no pets so your pup will have my heart the entire time 💜
About: I have parented and fostered dogs for 15 years -- they bring me so much joy! I love working with Rover because I want to help families who are in search of great care for their furry family member while they are busy or away. I absolutely adore dogs and how much they are messengers of love and healing to humans in ways that people just can’t. I believe in being service to people and to animals in order to make a difference. In addition to being a foster mom for shelter dogs when time allows, I’m work as an elementary school teacher. I have been a mommy to a Beagle, Springer Spaniel and now a Boxer, Duffy, and 4-pound Chihuahua, Gizmo, who was a foster fail. Sadly, they have all passed the rainbow bridge. I have fostered and sat for many different breeds, large and small. I have worked for a professional dog walker and sitter in the past year prior to me going back to teaching full time and have experience with opening houses to retrieve dogs for walks as well as overnight sits at a client’s home. I also have experience caring for cats as well. In my spare time, I also like to get together with friends for game time, scuba dive and run. While I live in Woodway, TX I can only take overnight sits or drop in visits, at this time. I can also take in mail, water plants, and care for other smaller animals, such as a bunny, gerbil, or lizard, for no extra charge. While I’m caring for your pup, I make sure they are comfortable by giving them the space they need or spending playtime with them. Whatever your dog needs to feel at ease, I always respond in a loving, kind and confident way. My clients love it that I have a heart that cares deeply about animals -- especially dogs -- and I take the responsibility of being the caregiver of their pet very seriously because I know how much my dogs meant to me and my family. I think they also love my flexibility to do whatever it takes to make them and their fur babies comfortable about Rover’s process and services. I am a full time teacher so i am available during weekends and school breaks including parts of the summer. Depending on the need of the animal, I am also open to keeping an animal while i am at work, which is now about usually 9 hours a day. I have an outside kennel available for the backyard in that case if you would like or cats (out of kennel), birds, gerbils, etc..would be inside the house. I follow directions exactly as the client requests. I make sure that your home and pets are secure and cared for at all times, either in my home or yours. I will send you pictures as frequently as you like (usually once a day) and you are free to check in with me while you are away. I will contact you immediately if there are any issues or concerns while your furry family members are in my care!
“Brittany was awesome!! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous about leaving our girls, but Brittany made it a great experience. She kept us up to date with pictures and comments. She even went above and beyond and brought our packages inside for us. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I consider myself a "mother of nature," because no matter what what kind of animal it is I am a natural at nurturing everything from fur-babies to feathered friends. I grew up with dogs, and I've always helped my disabled mom with her 4, now senior, dogs (two pitties, a rat terrier, and a chiweenie.) I love taking them on nature walks, and I even cook chicken or ground beef and rice for them, and use holistic remedies to keep them in top shape for their ages (15+). Animal rescue also comes naturally, because I feel humans are meant to be the keepers of the earth. Every night I feed a colony of stray cats and their neighbors (raccoons, opossums, and ducks.) 😁💖 It's a joy to me to help and have fun with cats and dogs, because I love animals. That's why I'm your fur-baby's favorite auntie! If you feel like I would be a great fit for your pet, let me know when you need me to be available. I'm an entrepreneur, so I can make exceptions and be flexible with scheduling. Currently, I don't have any pets in my household, besides two cats that I allow in for feeding and sometimes sleeping at night or when the weather is bad. They usually prefers to be outside. I take my disabled mom's dogs out every evening, so it's like I have 3 dogs. Although, they don't live with me.

“Did a great job with Coco, was very patient with her. Coco was a little nervous the firstt time she met Lindsey by herself. By their second interaction coco ran out the door with excitement.”

I work from home and my schedule is flexible! I am an early riser and love walking. Taking care of dogs would only bring more joy to my day. I love to tailor the animals care to each specific animal based on their needs, emotional and physical.

About: I’ve taken been responsible for taking care of my own dogs since I was 8 and have experience caring for dogs of every age. Right now I have a fur baby who is 3 years old. He was my first foster dog, and first "foster fail"! He is very spoiled and rightfully so, as he is my best friend. Currently, I have the most availability Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I try to update my calendar with open slots as often as I can! About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.
About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets when leaving home. I have also had many different types of pets in my life time including chameleons, ferrets, and raccoons. I have trained many puppies and taken care of a few senior dogs. I currently have a 9lb dachshund named Winnie. I am a graduated nursing student who is leaving Corpus Christi on May 30th, but would love to make some friends in the meantime. When sitting, I will commit all of my time into your pet and will move any part of my schedule around them. I will gladly take them for walks in the park ans many times as they want and around my house, I don’t mind bathing or grooming if needed, and I have also trained many dogs in my lifetime. If this is not what you are looking for, I would also love to just lay around and hang out with them.
About: Growing up surrounded by animals, I was destined to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. Twenty years later, I've built a rich and varied experience, dividing my time between day and emergency practices. The day practices have given me a solid foundation in routine medical procedures, from drawing blood to conducting routine check-ups. In contrast, the emergency practices have taught me to think on my feet, remaining calm and focused in the face of urgency and uncertainty. Throughout my career, I've developed a special affinity for post-operative care, taking pride in helping animals recover from surgery and return to full health. I've also learned to recognize and address anxiety in animals, using a gentle and compassionate approach to alleviate their stress. Meanwhile, I've honed my technical skills, mastering the art of medication administration and injections with precision and care. Pursuing a PhD degree offers me the privilege of a highly flexible schedule. Unlike a traditional 9-to-5 job, my daily routine is not bound by specific hours. I can choose to work at times that suit me (and your fur babies) best. With a sprawling, fenced-in yard as their playground, my two energetic dogs are never short on adventure. As a fellow dog lover, I'm excited to offer pet care services that cater to your pet's individual needs. Whether you'd prefer me to care for your pet at my home, surrounded by my friendly dogs, or in the comfort of their own home, I'm happy to oblige. From crate-trained companions to free-spirited friends, I've got the experience and patience to make your pet feel at ease. My dogs, with their boundless energy and affectionate nature, are the perfect playmates for your furry friend. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
