About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets when leaving home. I have also had many different types of pets in my life time including chameleons, ferrets, and raccoons. I have trained many puppies and taken care of a few senior dogs. I currently have a 9lb dachshund named Winnie. I am a graduated nursing student who is leaving Corpus Christi on May 30th, but would love to make some friends in the meantime. When sitting, I will commit all of my time into your pet and will move any part of my schedule around them. I will gladly take them for walks in the park ans many times as they want and around my house, I don’t mind bathing or grooming if needed, and I have also trained many dogs in my lifetime. If this is not what you are looking for, I would also love to just lay around and hang out with them.

Although our yard is not fenced, all dogs are closely supervised outdoors and taken on multiple leashed walks each day. Our property offers plenty of space for safe walks, exploring, and sniffing. I recently completed my PhD at Baylor University and bring responsibility, attention to detail, and reliability to everything I do. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I will treat your dog like part of our family while keeping you updated throughout their stay. I have cared for pets for friends, family, and others since high school, with more regular pet-sitting experience in recent years. Please note that dogs staying in our home must be comfortable using stairs. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available throughout the day for regular potty breaks, companionship, feeding, medication, and plenty of attention. I already follow a consistent routine with my Standard Poodle, Maggie, including multiple leashed walks each day. About: I’ve lived on a farm for 2 to 3 years so I was around a lot of animals. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and as I got older, I’ve had my own pets. I’ve dog and cat sitter for a few friends, and I have a big passion and heart for animals and I think they all deserve the attention they need!<3 I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week. My regular unavailability is Wednesday evenings and Sundays. Any additional scheduling conflicts will be communicated in advance. I have an upstairs and downstairs in my apartment, meaning if needed, separation of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies can be arranged if necessary!! I want to keep everyone in the house comfortable in any way possible!

There is something so pure about the love of an animal. I have a daughter (3 years old now) who loves animals so much and gets so excited every time she gets to meet a doggie or kitty, so she truly loves coming along with me for these jobs! I always take special care to leave it cleaner than I found it and tidy up any messes as needed. A clean home is a happy home! Bedding in the crate needs to be laundered or litter box needs to be cleaned out? No problem! I can also water plants, take in the mail, put trash cans out, pickup packages from the porch, load the dishwasher or whatever may be needed!
