“Laurinda took great care of our cats while we were away, reported on their well being, and sent us pictures and video. We felt at ease knowing our cats were in good hands.”

“Camryn was great! She took excellent care of our girls and they were thrilled to see her everytime and so happy when we returned. She also put up with my girls jumping in the pool everytime she came over so we are very thankful for her!”

About: I have cared for animals my whole life in a variety of settings. I grew up with small, medium, and large dogs and experienced dogs at every stage of life. Since recently moving to Waco for graduate school, I have volunteered 20+ hours at the pet shelter, Pet Circle, working with shelter dogs and even fostering one dog in the short-term. I truly care about all animals and want to help them find and maintain loving and safe homes. From newborn puppies to seniors, large active dogs to small lap dogs, rescuing strays to dog sitting, working with shelter dogs to a mascot, caring for my own dogs to fostering, I have cared for dogs in nearly every setting possible. For the previous four years, I have house-sat for cat and dog households in houses and apartments. I tailor my care to each individual dog, including 30+ minute walks or runs for active dogs, tending to seniors who need oral medications and gentle care, and channeling puppy energy productively. For boarding, I currently live alone in a pet-friendly apartment with no current pets of my own, perfect for dogs who are shy around other pets or children, or those who simply want to be the center of my attention! Caring for pets has always been a part of my life. I'd love the opportunity to lovingly care for your pets! As a current graduate student with a part-time job, I must leave my apartment for 2-5 hours at least once per week day. However, I ensure at least one walk in the morning, midday, and evening per day and 5-6 walks/potty breaks along with a few hours to play in my apartment. Weekends I have more time to devote to your pet. Below breaks down the specifics of my weekly schedule and the expected boarding activity schedule: (**When I am away from my apartment and after the last walk of the evening, your pet will be kenneled. The duration of each walk is 20 minutes to 40 minutes. The duration of each long walk is 40 minutes to over an hour. The duration of a potty break is roughly 5 to 15 minutes. Indoor play time refers to unkenneled, supervised time for your dog to play by itself or with me, or spend time being pet by me.) Monday. Class: 9:15 a.m.-12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-8:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), two to three afternoon walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.), and two evening walks/potty breaks (9 p.m.-11 p.m.). Tuesday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one long midday walk (11 a.m.), 3-4 evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (2 p.m. - 11 p.m.). Wednesday. Work: 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30-8:30 a.m.), one to two midday walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Thursday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Work: 2 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one short midmorning potty break (optional depending upon animal needs, 9:40 a.m.-10:30 a.m.), one short afternoon walk (12:40 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.), two evening walks and indoor play time (7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Friday. Class: 11:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.), indoor play time and one midmorning walk (8:30 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.), one long afternoon walk (2:40 p.m.), two to three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Saturday. No Class. Activity Schedule. Flexible according to errand needs. Pets will be given at least 5+ hours of indoor play time, and 5-6 walks/potty breaks throughout the day. One long walk will occur during the day around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given owner's permission, in Woodway Park. Sunday. Personal Time Away: 9 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one to two morning walks/potty break (7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), four to five afternoon/evening walks/potty breaks, and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Likely one long walk will occur in the afternoon around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given the owner's permission, in Woodway Park. I live alone in a one-bedroom, pet-friendly apartment with no pets, offering a safe, indoor environment where your dog can be the center of my attention and have their own space. My apartment offers easy outdoor access with a fair amount of green space, perfect for taking your dog on walks and for potty breaks. Additionally, my apartment is a stone's throw from Baylor, so long walks are readily available if your pup requires them. When boarding or housesitting, I ensure dogs receive frequent potty breaks/walks (at least once every 2-5 hours), physical affection, and human play time, depending on each pet's unique needs. My care can change to fit your pet's regular schedule, activity, and diet. For boarding, I require kennel-trained dogs when I am away from home, and I can provide a kennel for a small to medium-sized dog. Likewise, I require the owner to drop off sufficient dog food for the duration of the stay with their pet. Other toys, bowls, beds and leashes are welcome, but not required.
“Tiffany was great! She provided lots of pics and reports while I was gone and did her best to keep my cat engaged. My cat is a tad grumpy and apparently made it known by having a few accidents on the rug. Tiffany checked in to make sure it wasn’t a health issue and cleaned everything up. She definitely went above and beyond, was on time, friendly, and compassionate - I felt she really cared about the wellbeing of my cat and took the time to engage with her.”

“Sara did amazing with our dog Quinn! Reached out super last minute and she was able to accommodate us into her schedule. Super responsive and and she did great with our pup! Would 100% recommend her to anyone, and will definitely rebook again!”

About: I've been in a household with animals my entire life. Ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits, and birds. I love spending time with animal companions and treat each one as if my own. I've also worked in multiple vet clinics and volunteer regularly at shelters. I try to makes sure they are happy, healthy, and overall in a positive and safe environment when with me. I'm currently a student but will always have time after classes dedicated to spending time with furry friends. My weekday schedule stays consistent and weekend schedule changes time to time, but I am also available throughout holidays and breaks, just contact me and we can work it out. I can't do boarding since I do have my own fur babies, but am open to drop ins where your pets are comfortable. I can't board any fur babies at the moment, but will make sure yours is safe and protected. I will make sure they are in sight, easily attainable (if off leash) where ever we may go, and away from dangers like snakes, other animals, etc. If you know your animal has specific needs or there are certain areas of your home you would like me to stay out of, I will happily abide and make sure your space is respected.
“Taylor was amazing! So accommodating with our schedule, and she sent lovely detailed updates and pictures. She even added litter to our cat’s litter box and kept an eye on packages for us. Thank you Taylor!”

About: I love to not only feed and let out your pets but also just hangout with them and keep a watchful eye just in case ;) I would love to swing by right before or after work on the weekdays! And can really commit on the weekends if you need to go out of town! I love to just come over and sit with your pet for awhile, let them get comfortable approaching me and then play with them or walk them and feed them when they’re comfortable!
“Layla loved Allison! It was very nice to see pictures of my sweet Layla while I was gone. Had to leave on very short notice and Allison was there to help out! Great dog sitter”

About: Hi! Newly reactivated Rover, but not new to pet sitting! Zookeeper and occasional pet sitter, I have watched many different dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and other small pets. I grew up in the pocket of veterinarians, learned to groom dogs, and now work at a zoo! I have great animal skills, not afraid of any messes, and would love to meet your pets. Pets are family, and I will treat your family just as my own. I have a full time job with semi-flexible hours, so mid day walks are difficult but not impossible! We can discuss your pet’s needs with what I am capable of providing. I can make sure to offer as much consistency as possible and clear communication. Meet and greets are a great way to see if we are a good match!
About: I’ve grown up in a family that always opened our home to animals- dogs, cats, and even the occasional bird. Whether we were helping friends, fostering, or adopting them into our family, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Once I started petsitting on my own, I realized just how special getting to know every pet’s distinct personality is. My goal is always to keep their routines steady and familiar while you’re away, so your pets feel safe, loved, and completely at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly rhythm. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan my day around a pet’s needs- whether that’s morning walks, midday check- ins, playtime, or sticking to a specific feeding routine. Caring for animals isn’t something I’m squeezing in; it’s something I look forward to and can easily prioritize. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make their world feel as steady and familiar as possible. I follow your established routine closely- regular potty breaks, mealtimes on schedule, daily walks, play sessions, cuddle time, or whatever your pet is used to. I pay attention to their moods and preferences so I can meet them where they’re comfortable, whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and slow to warm up. I’m patient and gentle with new personalities, and I do my best to keep stress low by maintaining the rhythm they already know. I give plenty of attention and affection, and I make sure their physical needs, emotional needs, and little quirks are cared for with the same consistency you provide at home. I also keep your space tidy and respected while I’m there- clean food and water bowls, locked doors, lights the way you left them, and any small home routines you request. Most importantly, I’m committed to your pet’s safety and comfort. I’ll keep a close eye on how they’re doing, communicate with you throughout your trip, and make sure they’re cared for, loved, and fully supported until you’re home again.
About: I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. It is our responsibility as humans to take the best care of them. Every dog is special and deserves to be attended to appropriately. I am a Waco local and student at MCC studying to become a teacher. I’m currently working part time most weekdays until 6 pm. I can take appointments starting at 6:30 which is perfect during this Texas heat. I wouldn’t mind doing later walks when the weather is cooler. I will always make sure your pet is healthy and happy! My goal is to take extraordinary care of your pet and make sure it has everything it needs
“Brittany did a great job taking care of my cat! She was very responsive, communicative, and did great at keeping him entertained! My cat loved her and all the playtime she provided him. We will definitely reach out and use her again, would highly recommend!”
