About: I have been pet sitting for 5 years for my extended family and friends back at home. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for 4 years of high school, so I have experience with all kinds of pets. I grew up with a lot of animals, so I am well equipped for any job! I am a sophomore at Baylor, so I will have class in the morning. I have class from 9am-12pm on Monday through Friday, but I am available outside of those times. About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. My normal weekly schedule has me available Mondays and Tuesdays after 1pm and Wednesday through Friday I am available after 11am. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

About: I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. It is our responsibility as humans to take the best care of them. Every dog is special and deserves to be attended to appropriately. I am a Waco local and student at MCC studying to become a teacher. I’m currently working part time most weekdays until 6 pm. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life! I love all of them. I have experience with feeding, bathing, nurturing, walking, all of it! I am a full time student and I work from 8:00am -5:00pm Monday-Friday! I’m free on the weekends and before and after work! I can be sure to fit all of your fur babies into my schedule ! About: I've taken care of dogs (and other animals) since I was a 12, but they were mostly my own. While in my last years of college I started watching friend & family dogs as a part time gig and it has become fairly consistent ever since. I love all animals and I've had the joy to watch many different kinds over the years...even some farm animals! Some might call me nuts, but I have watched a total of 8 dogs at one time. I just started a hybrid job, my work schedule is very flexible. For younger dogs I'm able to be at home more should their typical schedule require it. I only offer in home pet sitting. Over the years I've learned that it works much better for the pets to be in their usual environment. I like to come into the home and adapt to their life so its as stress free as possible. By doing so this also gives me the opportunity to "house sit" and keep an eye on the place as well. If needed I will collect the mail/newspaper/packages, water the plants, assist with any maintenance appts etc. Before going to a new home, I insist on coming by for a meet and greet to meet the dog/s and get a lay of the land to make sure both parties are comfortable.
