“How can we give Maddie 6 stars? Our Catlyn is a rescue cat from Mexico. She has traveled extensively with us domestically and internationally. Probably over 50 flights...most states...several countries. We have never been able to leave her alone! We had a quick business trip come up that we couldn't take her on and got in touch with Maddie! We could not be happier! Maddie is just a gem and a sweetheart. She was patient with our fickle and nervous "princess" who couldn't figure out where we went. She went far and above what I would have expected. She kept us posted several times a day with visit and updates and lots of photos. She ever scooped the litter box which I'm sure the cats appreciated. The pictures of the cats were great and she spent a little extra time playing with the two non-scaredy cats. About: I genuinely enjoy caring for and spending time with animals, and believe it is extremely important that all animals are treated with the upmost care! I would love to be responsible for taking care of any animal! I am currently a full time student at Baylor University, so I do have some obligations for classes and school work during the day. However, my Thursday evenings, Fridays, and weekends are very open. Care for each pet can vary at times, but care first starts with understanding the personality of the animal that you are caring for. Aside from keeping them well fed, hydrated, exercised, and safe, there is an important emotional side to the care as well.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs all my life and have also done lots of dog walking with wag! I have had experience with loads of different types of dogs ranging from a Yorkie to a Bull Mastiff. Puppies who needs constant love and patience to Elderly dogs who need special care such as medicine distributed to them. I’ve walked pullers, reluctant to leave their owners, territory markers, and any type you can think of even those ones that lay down at the start of the walk hahaha. I also work full time as well but will be available mornings on Sunday-Thursday, Friday and Saturday fully available for the next few months. “I have 3 pets. 2 dogs and a cat. Helena has been amazing with them every time I have her sit. I have cameras at my house and will check in from time to time. She takes my dogs out every time they wake up from their naps and stands outside with them to watch them go to the bathroom. Both dogs are on the elderly side and do not get around very well. She helps them on the couch and back inside once they have used the bathroom. My cat is very standoffish to people he does not know but has loved Helena from the minute he met her. She cleans the litter box once every other day as I requested. She makes sure that the multiple water bowls/jugs are always full. When the dogs have accidents or my cat throws up she makes sure that it is cleaned up in a timely manner and will mop the tile floor when there are big messes. When I ask her to stay for an hour here and there she always stays longer to make sure my pets get love! I would recommend Helena for any pet-sitting job!!”

You are welcome to let me know your pets specific needs, and I will gladly accommodate those needs. I find most dogs and cats warm up to me pretty quickly. My friends and family joke that I'm the animal whisperer because whenever I'm around, all the dogs and cats are found near me. When I move, they tend to follow. I will not schedule your pets care too close to another appointment because I believe pets take time to care for, which means sometimes they need a little more than the schedules time block. Hurrying just leads to less than stellar care, which no one has time for.
