I have parented and fostered dogs for 15 years -- they bring me so much joy! I love working with Rover because I want to help families who are in search of great care for their furry family member while they are busy or away. I absolutely adore dogs and how much they are messengers of love and healing to humans in ways that people just can’t. I believe in being service to people and to animals in order to make a difference. In addition to volunteering for a local animal shelter when time allows, I have a somewhat flexible schedule working as a substitute teacher. When my family was younger, I had the joy of having a Beagle, Springer Spaniel and Boxer, and a foster fail Chihuahua. They have all passed the rainbow bridge and I am now privileged with helping others with their pet family members during their busy season of life. I have fostered and sat for many different breeds, large and small. I do everything to give you the peace of mind of knowing your pet(s) are cared for and happy while you’re away. I also have experience with cats and enjoy caring for them as well. In my spare time, I run, bike and volunteer. While I’m caring for your pet, I can also take in mail, water plants, and care for other smaller animals, such as a bunny, gerbil, or lizard, for no extra charge. While I’m caring for your pup, I make sure they are comfortable by giving them the space they need or spending playtime with them. Whatever your dog needs to feel at ease, I always respond in a loving, kind and confident way. My clients love it that I have a heart that cares deeply about animals -- especially dogs -- and I take the responsibility of being the caregiver of their pet very seriously because I know how much my dogs meant to me and my family. I think they also love my flexibility to do whatever it takes to make them and their fur babies comfortable about Rover’s process and services.

I follow directions exactly as the client requests. I make sure that your home and pets are secure and cared for at all times in your home. I will send you pictures and check in with you usually three times per day and you are, of course, free to check in with me anytime. I will contact you immediately if there are any issues or concerns while your furry family members are in my care!
Ratings and reviews
Kimberly provided housesitting and pet sitting services for our 8 pound 9 year old Shorkie for one week. Kimberly’s communication skills are superb with extraordinary diligence in reporting her comings and goings. We received multiple photos daily with her brief updates texted. Her care of our home was flawless. Since we frequently travel we have perimeter and inside video monitoring and a security system to which Kimberly accommodated easily. She seemed to enjoy her time with our dog. He seems pleased too. We will schedule services from her again.
I needed Kimberly to walk my dog every day at 11:30 for 4 days. I found her on short notice, and she exceed my expectations by far. Friendly, courteous, dependable and very responsive whenever I reached out to her on the app. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with their animals...you won't be disappointed!!

Kimberly is phenomenal! She was great with my puppy and very flexible when I needed to add another dog as well. She is very patient, communicative, and friendly! The puppers loved her and I will 100% book her again!

Schedule
I am a part time teacher and I am available during weekends and school breaks including parts of the summer. I am more likely to be available the more advanced notice I receive, especially during the weekdays.

- I like to know about your dog’s routine, how much exercise they need and what their feeding schedule is. I want to make sure your pup is comfortable and at ease while you are away, so any information that would help me take the best possible care of them is more than welcome! It’s also good to know how they are around other dogs in case there are any we may encounter on a walk. (Walks are available upon request).
