About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. My normal weekly schedule has me available Mondays and Tuesdays after 1pm and Wednesday through Friday I am available after 11am. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I'm more than happy to visit and play with your dog or cat, take them on a walk as long as they need, and feed them on a regular schedule if that's helpful. Their safety and happiness are always my top priority. I care for pets in the client's own home, so they stay comfortable in a familiar environment. That includes hanging out with them, taking them on walks, trips to the dog park, and other fun activities to keep them active and happy while you're away.

About: I've taken care of dogs (and other animals) since I was a 12, but they were mostly my own. While in my last years of college I started watching friend & family dogs as a part time gig and it has become fairly consistent ever since. I love all animals and I've had the joy to watch many different kinds over the years...even some farm animals! Some might call me nuts, but I have watched a total of 8 dogs at one time. I'm always up for a little bit of chaos when it comes to pet sitting and I really enjoy giving owners the peace of mind that their babies are in good care. I just started a hybrid job, my work schedule is very flexible. For younger dogs I'm able to be at home more should their typical schedule require it. I only offer in home pet sitting. Over the years I've learned that it works much better for the pets to be in their usual environment. I like to come into the home and adapt to their life so its as stress free as possible. By doing so this also gives me the opportunity to "house sit" and keep an eye on the place as well. If needed I will collect the mail/newspaper/packages, water the plants, assist with any maintenance appts etc. Before going to a new home, I insist on coming by for a meet and greet to meet the dog/s and get a lay of the land to make sure both parties are comfortable.

About: I have been in the veterinary setting since I was sixteen and I've been a veterinary technician for a couple years now! I am now focusing on the most important thing in life which is family and I would love to take care of your fur babies when you need it! I am a certified forehead kisser and a great conversationalist with the non-speaking, I do not discriminate on personality and/or breed. I am confident in my ability to make your fur baby feel comfortable in my presence and I can't wait to meet you! I am available early mornings to afternoons until about 3pm-5pm! (Open to longer days depending on your schedule) Weekend availability when needed. As of right now, I am not offering any overnight stays. Before taking care of your pet, I would love to meet them and also have you show me around your home and/or list out any specifications or requirements. If you feel comfortable having the pet at my home, I do live in a gated community with plenty of area for walks and outside time! Examples of this are playing outside , bonding with toys and giving them treats *unless directed otherwise * , and even watching alittle tv ! *bluey seems to work because Dogs can actually see the colors that bluey presents , it’s very entertaining to them *

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
