From horses and goats on grandma’s farm to parakeets and dogs in my own backyard. I currently have 2 furry friends, one siberian husky who loves a dramatic flare and one yorkshire terrier who, although smaller, is just as mischevious. I grew up with dogs, and I've always helped my disabled mom with her 4, now senior, dogs (two pitties, a rat terrier, and a chiweenie.) I love taking them on nature walks, and I even cook chicken or ground beef and rice for them, and use holistic remedies to keep them in top shape for their ages (15+). Animal rescue also comes naturally, because I feel humans are meant to be the keepers of the earth. Every night I feed a colony of stray cats and their neighbors (raccoons, opossums, and ducks.) 😁💖 It's a joy to me to help and have fun with cats and dogs, because I love animals. About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. My normal weekly schedule has me available Mondays and Tuesdays after 1pm and Wednesday through Friday I am available after 11am. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs throughout my life of all ages. I’ve had a few dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies. I’ve had neighbors ask me to pet sit for them. About: Long time dog lovers adopted by a pregnant stray cat shortly before our precious senior Brittanys passed. Our pet love has grown! 💜 I do miss the dog walks and silliness, and would be happy to share that again. I have a flexible schedule, and while our cats are mostly pretty chill, we have a separate space they can go if things feel tricky. About: I’ve been around animals ever since I was young. Back home it was a daily occurrence to wake up early and feed all the animals. From cows to chickens and cats to dogs, I have been around all of them. I throughly enjoy being around animals and currently missing my Australian Shepard back home. I’m currently attending college right now, so I have massive blocks in my schedule and even times for overnight care. Most of my homework does not require me to be on campus so it is easy to house sit when necessary. I can even check on animals during breaks between classes.
