Your Fur-baby's Favorite Auntie!
I consider myself a "mother of nature," because no matter what what kind of animal it is I am a natural at nurturing everything from fur-babies to feathered friends. I grew up with dogs, and I've always helped my disabled mom with her 4, now senior, dogs (two pitties, a rat terrier, and a chiweenie.) I love taking them on nature walks, and I even cook chicken or ground beef and rice for them, and use holistic remedies to keep them in top shape for their ages (15+). Animal rescue also comes naturally, because I feel humans are meant to be the keepers of the earth. Every night I feed a colony of stray cats and their neighbors (raccoons, opossums, and ducks.) 😁💖 It's a joy to me to help and have fun with cats and dogs, because I love animals. That's why I'm your fur-baby's favorite auntie!

Laurinda is THE BEST pet sitter on Rover! She is kind, communicative, and incredibly patient with my dog, Mila. She comes five days a week and has been such a huge help in caring for Mila. I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter, and she will ALWAYS be my first choice! ❤️
Love Laurinda! She is experienced with dogs and projects great leadership capabilities which are so needed. She provided lots of pictures and a thorough update of her time with my girl. I felt completely safe placing my dog in her care.
Not a good fit. She did not meet our expectations as a dog sitter and lacked compassion towards our stressed dog even after I tried to explain to her why he was so anxious. She did not follow directions from a pre-printed out sheet either.
Laurinda did an excellent job of keeping me informed about my kitties. I felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of them. I’m so glad we found Laurinda and we will definitely use her when/if we need someone to take care of our kitties again!!!
Laurinda is the sweetest! My plans seem to change constantly, but she takes it all with grace and flexibility.

Currently, I don't have any pets in my household, besides two cats that I allow in for feeding and sometimes sleeping at night or when the weather is bad. They usually prefers to be outside. I take my disabled mom's dogs out every evening, so it's like I have 3 dogs. Although, they don't live with me.
Pets
A typical day
The nearby park, trails in Cameron Park, the Brazos riverwalk, or around downtown, and Heritage Square are some of the places where dogs and I enjoy walking. I learn about your expectations and your your dog's fitness level. Based on that, I determine how long to walk, if we'll be taking frequent breaks, or if I'll be picking up the dog (smaller or senior dogs) periodically as we walk to prevent stress. I have special treats made with boiled chicken and rice or beef and rice. Most store bought treats have unhealthy additives, so I prefer to avoid them.
