About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and turtles. I have pet/house sit since I was 14. I have experience with all ages and needs. Whether you have a high energy pet that requires long walks and a lot of playing, or a pet that just needs lots of company, I am happy to meet their needs. I love all animals and want to ensure they are having the best days in my care. Pet Care is my full time job. Every pet has different needs and I adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets in my care. I will follow any instructions you leave for care. I know it is hard to leave your fur baby and will try and keep the care as consistent as if you were there. I will let dogs out frequently and provide walks. I am happy to send pictures and updates. If permitted, I am happy to bring your fur babies with me to the beach, on hikes or just cruise. If your dog needs socializing work, I will take them to dog parks.

About: I grew up in a zoo. I cared for just about every type of small pet as well as horses and other livestock when I was growing up. As an adult, I’ve always had dogs and cats running around. Having furry critters makes a house truly a home! I live in Volcano Village with my wife and 5 pets. I specialize and have many years of experience working with reactive and formerly abused dogs. I understand their way of thinking, triggers, body language, unique needs, as well as the best way to approach any given situation. Pricing is negotiable, especially for walks and drop-in visits. About: **I AM TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY STARTING 8/27/25 AND WILL BE BLOCKING MY CALENDAR TILL I KNOW I WILL RETURN. ** I travel off island often and can't have my own puppy family, so I will watch your fur-babies like they are my own! I enjoy the adventure of pup-sitting at homes all over the island. I work remotely so am able to be away from my place for long stretches of time. While I like to explore the local areas I stay in, I will mostly be snuggled up with your fur-babies typing away. I am a veteran with Rover- In fact I have been pet-sitting before Rover existed using Craigslist. I have a huge love for all animals and am very experienced with caring for different types of animals and breeds. I am patient, and gentle with a huge heart for animals. I understand every household has different culture. I always try and mimic all the rules of the home. Pets not allowed on the couch? no problem. Dogs like to sleep in the bed with owners? I am an expert puppy snugger. Perhaps the best. I will try and reinforce all commands and rules so there is a seamless transition upon your return. When dog-sitting in your home I will leave it better than I found it and happily respect boundaries and house rules. * My property is in Hilo but I am open to sitting at homes all over the island. In fact, I love to! I will text picture updates to my clients so they feel comforted that their sweetheart is being loved on. Why I love dog sitting: I had a Golden Retriever rescue for over 15 years till he passed 10 years ago. I travel a lot and didn't think it was fair to get another dog, but have been pet sitting since. I LOVE having dog energy still around... and the friendships I have made with my puppy parents. For my lifestyle it's the best of both worlds! I work remotely so am very flexible with my schedule and love having pets around to love on while exploring new and interesting locations on this beautiful island. My place is in Hilo but am open to doing pet sit stays all around the Big Island. Initial meeting can be done with a zoom call before meet and greet if too far from my area. I can also do house drop in visits if it coordinates with my location at the time needed. Right now I am primarily house sitting since my property does not have a fenced yard. I will match your schedule as best as possible and take care of your place the way you desire.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I lived on a farm where we had so many animals to take care of. Cats dogs pigs horses chickens cows. I love animals. They have so much love to give and most times they brighten your day. Animals make the days better I take care of everyday one cat and two dogs. They are very spoiled. They sleep in my bed with me have toys and sweater for cold days The cat just wants to be feed gave food and will bother me when she wants love Make sure there are a is clean. That they are feed and have plenty of water. Make sure the fur is brushed and that they smell good. Bath time is essential to having a happy dog. Cats not so much. Make sure there nails are trimmed and a comfy place to sleep.

About: I am a healthcare worker transitioning out of the medical field and into a different career and role of care. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life with a specialty in senior dog care. We lost both of our senior dogs (one at 13, & one at 14 wonderful years) within a year of each other two years ago. Molly, our Border Collie was diagnosed with a blood disorder at age 8 which brought a lot of hospital visits, special needs, patience, and medication schedules. I have a special place in my heart for senior care. I have experience with rescues, senior animals, small dogs, timid dogs, and dogs that require a lot of exercise. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds, from Chihuahua's to German Short Hair Pointers to Cane Corsos, and all mixed breeds. From dog walking, overnight sitting, feeding, medication administration; all led with love, trust and reliability. My husband and are I building a hobby farm and homestead and I would love to have the opportunity to care for any and all animals. About: Hello! My name is Shelby, my #1 passion is Dogs. I have had a Dog my entire life and would love to watch your Dog(s) for you. I'm from Seattle, WA but I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Your Dog will love staying at my place, 3 acres in Hawaiian Acres, partially fenced with our friendly companion pups named Stinkaroo and Koa. "Stink" is a 50 lb rescue dog, Pitbull,Catahoula & Blue Heeler mix who is currently 4 years old, very friendly and submissive. Koa is a pitbull mix who is 2-1/2years old, also very friendly and has lots of energy. We also have an older pup who we rescued off the street. His name is Zeus and hes about 7 years old. He a bit of a mutt chihuahua, terrier mix. Zeus is smaller about 14 pounds, he is friendly but also can be a grumpy old man, very mellow. We lost 2 of our elder Dogs in 2019 to Cancer. Having new friends come and stay would be a joyful experience for all of us! Myself and my Husband both work from home, so we have lots of time to watch after your Dog and will never be left alone. For overnight visits, we are glad to send you pictures and updates Daily. We also offer drop offs and pick ups. Our Dogs sleep inside on a Dog bed or in our Bed. We do not chain up Dogs and prefer not to watch dogs that need to be chained up. We allow our Pup on the couch, but we are glad to follow all your house rules. If you have any questions, just ask! We'd love to do a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a right fit for you. Keaau, Kurtistown, and Pahoa are all 10 minutes from us. My husband and I work from home so we will have plenty of time to play with your pup, take walks, and potty breaks etc. We have a partially fenced in front yard, as well as a gate on our lanai so your pup can enjoy the nice weather safely. Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when I am watching your pup. Potty break, walks, play time, out of the house adventures etc. I have raised a lot of pups, I am more than happy to follow certain rules/routines or any restrictions you may have for your pet regardless if they are in my home or at their own.

About: Located in Gig Harbor WA. I have a family history of love for animals. My dad had almost every animal as a pet when he was growing up, and his love for them has carried on to me. About: I love pets, and I'm sure your pet will love me too! Taken care of pets not only in one state but many! Your pet is like family. Why not treat them with the best care possible. I am currently available during the week and weekends. Working mostly early morning shifts as a bartender so taking them out when needed is guaranteed! About: I’ve had about 10 years of personal experience taking care of dogs and cats. My family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to help take care of their dogs and cats. I have experience with big and small dogs; taking them on walks, feeding, and bathing. I’m currently a full-time college student with no job, so that gives me plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available all day saturdays & sundays, monday/wednesday/friday I’m available from 3pm-whenever, and tuesday/thursday I’m available from 2pm-whenever. Since I’m in college living in a dorm I am unable to take animals into my dorm, so I would have to come to your house. About: I’ve taken care of my own animals and others since a young age. I’ve pet sat and walked many different dogs. I love all animals overall. I currently am attending college and want a part time job walking dogs. While i’m not in class or doing homework, I have no reason not to spend time with them! I have pet sat for a family friend with a daily routine of feeding playing and giving all my attention to their dog. At home I have a fenced yard with two dogs. However, at the dorm, I don’t have much space to take care of animals outside of walking them.

I grew up around chihuahua mixes, husky/german shepherds. I've lived with collies, Portuguese water dogs, pointers, schnauzers, pit bulls, and mutts, pugs, and quite a few more. I'm often the go-to pet sitter for all my friends and family! I'm a quick learner and am happy to accommodate you and your pet's needs. I am currently responsible for taking care of a 5 donkeys and a bunch of ducks/chickens! I'm currently a grad student off for the summer, so I have plenty of time. Even when I start in September, I will still have lots of time to make for your fluffy friends! I understand that each animal is unique and has different needs. I will pay close attention to what it's owner tells me and prefers when it comes to the environment that must be maintained/fostered for the animal. I've had crate trained dogs and backyard dogs, dogs that like to take walks on their own and dogs that would never leave if you asked them to. I know how important your animals are to you and will do what needs to be done to ensure their safety!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats literally alllll of my life. I’ve also worked in pet stores and have past experience with birds, fish and reptiles! Currently I have one cat myself and regularly house and dog sit for my friends. They’ve praised my work so much I figure it’s time to offer this service to others :) I’m comfortable giving oral medications to your pets as well, however I do not administer injections unless walked through by owner prior to the sitting booking.
