About: I have tons of time caring and entertaining dogs, cats and any other pets. I have trained experience in giving medication if needed of your pets. I have been working for a dog daycare and pet care resorts for dogs and cats, for the last eight years at places like Petsmart Hotel , pet Topia resort for animals , and have pet sitted a few of my family and friends pets as well. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet loved ones with others but I can ensure you that I will take really great care of your animals, give them all the attention and love that they need while your away. I have time 7 days a week to care for the animals so there will be no need to have multiple sitters. I am very flexible with scheduling as well. Also if Im pet sitting at your location or at my place, all i ask is you make a schedule for me , like times of medication , times of feeding , and walks. Thank you so much. I have a huge lanai, a grassy yard and plenty of space. My house is the fun place to be. I have 8 years of trained experience. Plus Ive grown up with dogs and cats, cared for them as well.

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my life, and wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was little. I have worked at multiple humane societies caring for the dogs, and have an array of experience through schooling, and an externship at a Pet Clinic. I care deeply for animals of all types, and I would like to spend the rest of my life ensuring their wellbeing, and protection. I am confident that I can provide quality care for your furry babies, and make sure they are comfortable and happy! I have a keen eye for observing their behaviors/tendencies, so this will be important if they seem to be in pain or discomfort. I only want the best for your pet since I understand the importance of their companionship. I am currently traveling, so looking for some gig work while I’m on the East Coast, but usually I’m living in Hawaii and am self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I make sure to be patient with each animal and let them come to me. I won’t force them to be social, and will be aware of their behaviors to ensure safety and trust is built between us. Also being mindful of their interactions with other dogs or humans if they have any issues with them.

About: **I AM TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY STARTING 5/20/26 AND WILL BE BLOCKING MY CALENDAR TILL I KNOW I WILL RETURN. ** I travel off island often and can't have my own puppy family, so I will watch your fur-babies like they are my own! I enjoy the adventure of pup-sitting at homes all over the island. I work remotely so am able to be away from my place for long stretches of time. While I like to explore the local areas I stay in, I will mostly be snuggled up with your fur-babies typing away. I am a veteran with Rover- In fact I have been pet-sitting before Rover existed using Craigslist. I have a huge love for all animals and am very experienced with caring for different types of animals and breeds. I am patient, and gentle with a huge heart for animals. I understand every household has different culture. I always try and mimic all the rules of the home. Pets not allowed on the couch? no problem. Dogs like to sleep in the bed with owners? I am an expert puppy snugger. Perhaps the best. I will try and reinforce all commands and rules so there is a seamless transition upon your return. When dog-sitting in your home I will leave it better than I found it and happily respect boundaries and house rules. * My property is in Hilo but I am open to sitting at homes all over the island. In fact, I love to! I will text picture updates to my clients so they feel comforted that their sweetheart is being loved on. Why I love dog sitting: I had a Golden Retriever rescue for over 15 years till he passed 10 years ago. I travel a lot and didn't think it was fair to get another dog, but have been pet sitting since. I LOVE having dog energy still around... and the friendships I have made with my puppy parents. For my lifestyle it's the best of both worlds! I work remotely so am very flexible with my schedule and love having pets around to love on while exploring new and interesting locations on this beautiful island. My place is in Hilo but am open to doing pet sit stays all around the Big Island. Initial meeting can be done with a zoom call before meet and greet if too far from my area. I can also do house drop in visits if it coordinates with my location at the time needed. Right now I am primarily house sitting since my property does not have a fenced yard. I will match your schedule as best as possible and take care of your place the way you desire.

About: Aloha- Here, at our home, we have 3 dogs (listed in my profile). Also, a retired Lana'i School teacher (a regular pro-dog walker too!); and now 4 outdoor cats that have adopted us. They come and go as they please 🤷 I have decades caring for fur babies, both dogs & cats. Aside from my own babies, I was previously employed as a care provider at the Lana'i Animal Rescue Center on the island of Lana'i (previously L.A.R.C., now Lana'i Cat Sanctuary). Additionally, on Lana'i, I did in-home sitting for cats, dogs, and was one of only a handful of foster dog moms on the island. This was also in cooperation with L.A.R.C. In the 90s I was a grooming assistant, so I don't mind giving baths, if that is something you desire for your dog. We are also familiar with giving meds over here, and certainly don't mind working with specialized diets, ages & needs. As a mom, I know these are our kids with individual personalities and needs. I'm here to meet those needs with love, cuddles & kindness (and Play!). For Home Sitting & Boarding: Right now my hours are open, if that changes, I will immediately update. When I am hired to care for an animal, I do just that, so my schedule will revolve around the animal in my care. 1st priority always. I encourage you to make a list of things you might want me to know about your baby. I keep a comfortable & reliable routine so visiting dogs know what to expect and that they're safe. Most important is one-on-one attention & playtime. My doggie guests have their own large, private room with its own entrance and an adjacent outdoor covered deck/lanai for lounging in the sun & watching neighborhood activities. About: I grew up in a zoo. I cared for just about every type of small pet as well as horses and other livestock when I was growing up. As an adult, I’ve always had dogs and cats running around. Having furry critters makes a house truly a home! I live in Volcano Village with my wife and 5 pets. I specialize and have many years of experience working with reactive and formerly abused dogs. I understand their way of thinking, triggers, body language, unique needs, as well as the best way to approach any given situation. Pricing is negotiable, especially for walks and drop-in visits. Living in Volcano, managing fuel overhead, commuting time, and scheduling can be a bit of a balancing act. I’m open to chat. Having had my own businesses since I was 19 years old, I’ve always had strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive.
