About: I have taken care of dogs from a young age and have always loved animals. I grew up with fish and turtles as well! We have a Shih Tzu Maltese mix that is friendly to all fur babies and humans. I am very reliable, punctual, and have always followed through with everything that I do. Rest assured that your fur baby will be safe with me. I decided to follow my passion in life. With that, I took a leap of faith to do what I truly love, which is caring for animals on a full-time basis! Hours are from 6 am-6 pm for doggy day care. If you are late in picking up your dog, there will be an additional $15 charge added to your total. We have a house with a completely fenced in and gated yard so your fur babies can roam around freely! I vacuum and mop on the daily as well! We do have split a/c units in almost every room. In addition, we maintain our property with pesticides that are safe for dogs to prevent fleas, ticks, and heart worm. To ensure a safe environment, we expect that your dog is on flea, tick, and heart worm medicine and are up-to-date with all vaccines.

“Kristen is a superior pet sitter. She took care of my dogs and chickens for 1.5 weeks and was on time for her visits. She made sure the dogs didn't escape from the fenced area, she played with the dogs, and even brought them a toy to play tug of war with. When we initially met, she had paperwork for me to fill out, which felt very professional, and in the meeting before we left, she took notes. When I was on my trip, I had forgotten to log into Rover from my phone, so in addition to submitting her photos and comments to Rover, she also sent me the pictures and comments to my phone directly. Lastly, our water system malfunctioned during the trip, resulting in beeping from the filter system. She took it upon herself to send me a video to inform me and asked me if there was anything I would like her to do to address the issue. This wasn't in her pet-sitting duties, but it was kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Kristen for drop-in visits.”

About: I havent been on here in a few years. Getting back out there now that I'm back home in Hilo. I have had dogs most of my life. I have cared for freinds dogs for months at a time. I think dogs are family members. I'm that person that knows the names of all the dogs on my street, and some of the people. My current dog is a sweety and gets along great with other dogs, so I can bring a play buddy if they get along. I can't wait to meet your dog! I work from home, so I can make sure your dog gets the attention it needs. Day care or boarding can be a possibility on a case by case basis. Whatever your dog's needs are I can make sure they are taken care of. I can do short walks with smaller dogs and play with all dogs.

About: I’ve had experience with puppies and can work on light training, I’ve also dealt with elderly dogs administering regular medications. Of course middle aged dogs are no problem as well I work full time but I don’t do much outside of work so I have a lot of free time to do what I like, like taking care of a furry baby! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and im very reliable. Friends and family trust me to take care of their dogs. Genuinely care about each and every dog and the specific needs they all have. I am currently a stay at home girl friend so I will have plenty of time to take care of all animals. Available any time of the day and week!! Please let me know at least a day ahead so I can prepare for your dogs needs :) I have 2 friendly dogs in my yard to keep your dogs company and I can easily accommodate your dogs needs environmentally. I have a dog house in my back yard, a runner down my drive way in case you’d prefer for your dog to be outside, and 2 empty cages if needed. I also welcome dogs into my home. If they’re comfortable I am as well. Unfortunately my yard is not gated and I only have one runner so the runner will go to the first person who requests it. :)

About: Hello! My name is Shelby, my #1 passion is Dogs. I have had a Dog my entire life and would love to watch your Dog(s) for you. I'm from Seattle, WA but I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Your Dog will love staying at my place, 3 acres in Hawaiian Acres, partially fenced with our friendly companion pups named Stinkaroo and Koa. "Stink" is a 50 lb rescue dog, Pitbull,Catahoula & Blue Heeler mix who is currently 4 years old, very friendly and submissive. Koa is a pitbull mix who is 2-1/2years old, also very friendly and has lots of energy. We also have an older pup who we rescued off the street. His name is Zeus and hes about 7 years old. He a bit of a mutt chihuahua, terrier mix. Zeus is smaller about 14 pounds, he is friendly but also can be a grumpy old man, very mellow. We lost 2 of our elder Dogs in 2019 to Cancer. Having new friends come and stay would be a joyful experience for all of us! Myself and my Husband both work from home, so we have lots of time to watch after your Dog and will never be left alone. For overnight visits, we are glad to send you pictures and updates Daily. We also offer drop offs and pick ups. Our Dogs sleep inside on a Dog bed or in our Bed. We do not chain up Dogs and prefer not to watch dogs that need to be chained up. We allow our Pup on the couch, but we are glad to follow all your house rules. If you have any questions, just ask! We'd love to do a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a right fit for you. Keaau, Kurtistown, and Pahoa are all 10 minutes from us. My husband and I work from home so we will have plenty of time to play with your pup, take walks, and potty breaks etc. We have a partially fenced in front yard, as well as a gate on our lanai so your pup can enjoy the nice weather safely. Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when I am watching your pup. Potty break, walks, play time, out of the house adventures etc. I have raised a lot of pups, I am more than happy to follow certain rules/routines or any restrictions you may have for your pet regardless if they are in my home or at their own.

About: Who better to watch your dogs than someone who loves dogs? (and cats for the record!) Have experience with elder dogs, but have enough energy to keep up with the youngest of dogs. I’m open to anything from walks to trail runs. I’ve had pets since I️ can remember at all ages and currently take care of friend’s and family’s pets when they’re out of town. I’ve administed medicine and creams, bathed, brushed, and fed dogs most of my life.I️ love spending time outdoors and spend part of my time working freelance jobs in farming and construction, so my schedule is flexible.
