About: I’ve spent my life around animals, raising my own dogs and cats and helping care for many others through family, partners, and friends. My experience also includes a range of farm animals and a wild range of pet personalities from childhood. I pay close attention to the subtle behaviors and communications put forth by any animal, and I work with where they tell me theyre at directly. Whether it’s walkies, snack time or something inbetween, I make sure they feel safe, well cared for and understood. I am a musician, artist and online entrepreneur, so as long as your animals dont mind me playing jazzy flamenco, its actually great for my proces to have little adventures and meet fantastic folks, furry or otherwise I care for pets like I do people, with the awareness that each have their own personalities and needs and communication styles and favorite skritch spots.

Before the first booking, I prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet so I can learn about each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any special needs. Safety is always my priority. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions, keep doors and gates secure, use a leash whenever required, and never allow a pet around unfamiliar animals without permission. During overnight stays, I respect my client’s home and privacy and never invite anyone into the home. I also provide regular photos and updates so owners know their pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of attention.
About: Aloha, Im a 25 year old female who grew up on a farm with lots of animals and I LOVE dogs. I had three dogs growing up and also regularly took care of neighbors pets when they were out of town. Unfortunately, I am not able to have a dog now because I am often gone to sea for months at a time for work and can’t take a dog with me on the boat. So since I can’t have one I just want to hang out with other people’s dogs. I am available all day every day and have a ton of experience with all kinds of animals but especially dogs. “Karl has been great! did a meet and greet to get to know our Sadie as Shes not the most friendly dog out there, she has trust issues. They got to know each other, and things have worked out perfectly. Karl has been patient with her when she didn't want to use the restroom, but after determination and time, our dog final came around, which is what we were wanting, holding all day is getting too much for an older dog and we don't need to have UTIs. Karl has been a Savoir living close by, so the drop ins worked well, unfortunately well have to book an overnight stay as our dog can't make it through the night or day without going out. we would recommend Karl, as long as it doesn't take away from our needs!!!!”

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
