About: For over five decades, I’ve had the joy and privilege of caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. What began as a childhood love for animals has grown into a lifelong passion and profession. From raising litters of puppies to gently bottle-feeding orphaned kittens, and from grooming horses to tending to backyard chickens, I’ve experienced nearly every aspect of pet care. My journey includes extensive hands-on experience with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, horses, cattle, and chickens. Whether it’s managing the complex needs of a senior dog, administering medication to a diabetic cat, or ensuring a horse’s hooves are properly cleaned and checked, I bring a deep well of knowledge, calm confidence, and loving patience to every animal I care for. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on farms, in veterinary settings, and as a full-time pet sitter. I’ve handled emergency situations, special needs animals, and high-energy breeds. I know the importance of not just feeding and walking pets, but understanding their behavior, emotional needs, and unique personalities. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work part-time remotely from home on my own flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and personalized care throughout the day. I’m a true homebody who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, so pets are rarely left alone for long. My flexible lifestyle allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine, ensuring they receive consistent care, love, exercise, and a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and treated like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my highest priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, calm, and supervised environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship throughout the day. My five friendly, well-socialized pets can provide positive interaction for social animals, while pets who prefer quiet time can enjoy a separate yard or their own space. If your pet is crate-trained or you prefer they be crated during meals, bedtime, or when appropriate, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and reduces stress. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your home and follow your pet’s established schedule as closely as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, bedtime routines, and favorite activities to help your pet feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’ll also make sure doors, gates, and fences remain secure, clean up after your pet, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and keep you updated while you’re away. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, energy level, medical needs, and comfort level around other animals. Whether your companion loves to play, enjoys quiet naps, or requires extra patience due to age or special needs, I’ll provide personalized care that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. My goal is to earn your trust by providing dependable care and giving you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands.

About: Aloha- Here, at our home, we have 3 dogs (listed in my profile). Also, a retired Lana'i School teacher (a regular pro-dog walker too!); and now 4 outdoor cats that have adopted us. They come and go as they please 🤷 I have decades caring for fur babies, both dogs & cats. Aside from my own babies, I was previously employed as a care provider at the Lana'i Animal Rescue Center on the island of Lana'i (previously L.A.R.C., now Lana'i Cat Sanctuary). Additionally, on Lana'i, I did in-home sitting for cats, dogs, and was one of only a handful of foster dog moms on the island. This was also in cooperation with L.A.R.C. In the 90s I was a grooming assistant, so I don't mind giving baths, if that is something you desire for your dog. We are also familiar with giving meds over here, and certainly don't mind working with specialized diets, ages & needs. As a mom, I know these are our kids with individual personalities and needs. I'm here to meet those needs with love, cuddles & kindness (and Play!). For Home Sitting & Boarding: Right now my hours are open, if that changes, I will immediately update. When I am hired to care for an animal, I do just that, so my schedule will revolve around the animal in my care. 1st priority always. I encourage you to make a list of things you might want me to know about your baby. I keep a comfortable & reliable routine so visiting dogs know what to expect and that they're safe. Most important is one-on-one attention & playtime. My doggie guests have their own large, private room with its own entrance and an adjacent outdoor covered deck/lanai for lounging in the sun & watching neighborhood activities. About: I’ve been doing a pet sitting for over three years, and this is now my third summer providing pet sitting in Hawaii. During this time, I’ve looked after cats and dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs, always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m definitely both a cat and a dog person, and I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I helped care for many animals and learned to be patient, attentive, and compassionate. Most of my work is done from home, so your pet will rarely be left alone for long periods. Outside of work, I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so I’m always happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, or simply keep them company. I also offer drop-in visits and house sitting, and I always do my best to maintain your pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. My schedule allows me to provide lots of attention, companionship, and loving care throughout the day. I currently provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and keep their usual routine. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special routines. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so they can feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel relaxed, safe, and well cared for.

About: I grew up in a zoo. I cared for just about every type of small pet as well as horses and other livestock when I was growing up. As an adult, I’ve always had dogs and cats running around. Having furry critters makes a house truly a home! I live in Volcano Village with my wife and 5 pets. I specialize and have many years of experience working with reactive and formerly abused dogs. I understand their way of thinking, triggers, body language, unique needs, as well as the best way to approach any given situation. Pricing is negotiable, especially for walks and drop-in visits. Living in Volcano, managing fuel overhead, commuting time, and scheduling can be a bit of a balancing act. I’m open to chat. Having had my own businesses since I was 19 years old, I’ve always had strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive. You can count on my professionalism, reliability, and high quality care that can be difficult to find on this island. Available weekdays and weekends. Morning and afternoons for drop-ins and walks as long as I’m not previously booked. Overnights available for pet/house sitting while you are traveling.
