Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and turtles. I have pet/house sit since I was 14. I have experience with all ages and needs. Whether you have a high energy pet that requires long walks and a lot of playing, or a pet that just needs lots of company, I am happy to meet their needs. I love all animals and want to ensure they are having the best days in my care.

Rebecca is not only a great and well respected pet sitter but someone who for us is also a dear friend. Her experience and education are well suited for animal care but more importantly her heart is in what she does. We cannot imagine anyone with whom we would feel more secure leaving our cat Hobo in the care of. The photos she sends of him inside her home interacting with the other cats and dogs in a safe and happy environment are both pleasant and adorable. It’s almost as if he’s at “school” learning to play and be well with his friends! Rebecca makes sure everyone interacts comfortably and safely and the result is a healthy social environment that is beneficial for the animals and reassuring to owners. It’s amazing to see! Separation is of course possible if necessary.Yet seeing our cat enjoying the benefit of safe and healthy social interactions in Rebecca’s care he might never enjoy in some cage filled kennel makes having Hobo in her care a treasure. She is a Godsend and we a so blessed to have found her for our precious little guy.

Rebecca was awesome. She showed up consistently and at the time promised, was great at updating us on how our pup was doing, and was clearly experienced at handling dogs. Would definitely recommend!

Pet Care is my full time job. Every pet has different needs and I adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow any instructions you leave for care. I know it is hard to leave your fur baby and will try and keep the care as consistent as if you were there. I will let dogs out frequently and provide walks. I am happy to send pictures and updates. If permitted, I am happy to bring your fur babies with me to the beach, on hikes or just cruise. If your dog needs socializing work, I will take them to dog parks.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast and a morning walk at the local park, cruise and rest at the house with full access to a fenced yard, dinner and an evening walk then in for the night. I adjust to meet the needs/abilities/energies of the pets in my care. Cats have their own room with access to the rest of the house depending on their comfort level. I conduct enrichment activities every couple hours to ensure everyone is happy and healthy.
