About: I have always grown up with dogs in my life, and wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was little. I have worked at multiple humane societies caring for the dogs, and have an array of experience through schooling, and an externship at a Pet Clinic. I care deeply for animals of all types, and I would like to spend the rest of my life ensuring their wellbeing, and protection. I am confident that I can provide quality care for your furry babies, and make sure they are comfortable and happy! About: I am a healthcare worker transitioning out of the medical field and into a different career and role of care. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life with a specialty in senior dog care. We lost both of our senior dogs (one at 13, & one at 14 wonderful years) within a year of each other two years ago. Molly, our Border Collie was diagnosed with a blood disorder at age 8 which brought a lot of hospital visits, special needs, patience, and medication schedules. I have a special place in my heart for senior care. I have experience with rescues, senior animals, small dogs, timid dogs, and dogs that require a lot of exercise. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds, from Chihuahua's to German Short Hair Pointers to Cane Corsos, and all mixed breeds. From dog walking, overnight sitting, feeding, medication administration; all led with love, trust and reliability. My husband and are I building a hobby farm and homestead and I would love to have the opportunity to care for any and all animals. About: I have loved animals since childhood when I had hamsters and a rabbit. When I started college, I adopted 2 cats. After getting married, we started to foster cats and dogs and we adopted 2 dogs. I started to pet sit professionally in 2022. Animals are so special, healing in the best way, and the most loyal pals you could ever hope for. I enjoy getting to know each of their unique personalities. I work full time M-F in town. My availability is open during weekends Friday through Sunday nights and federal holidays. I enjoy pet sitting in my spare time! About: Aloha! I'm a very friendly person and because of that many animals trust me. I have worked with skittish elderly dogs who didn't trust anyone but needed their medication and food, as well as other dogs who were difficult to handle for most. When I had my dog I was one of the only people who could give him a bath, I sang to him and made it a not so scary or painful ordeal (he had spinal issues and certain spots were really painful). I may have some scheduling conflicts as I'm currently going to school online and working full time. I am more than willing to work with anyone on scheduling to meet the needs of my clients as well as the needs of my work. My pets are my comfort after a long day of work so the more the merrier! I will treat you and your animals with respect and will keep their schedule as close to yours as my schedule allows. I love and respect all animals, even the tough to love ones.

About: Who better to watch your dogs than someone who loves dogs? (and cats for the record!) Have experience with elder dogs, but have enough energy to keep up with the youngest of dogs. I’m open to anything from walks to trail runs. I’ve had pets since I️ can remember at all ages and currently take care of friend’s and family’s pets when they’re out of town. I’ve administed medicine and creams, bathed, brushed, and fed dogs most of my life.I️ love spending time outdoors and spend part of my time working freelance jobs in farming and construction, so my schedule is flexible. About: I have taken care of dogs from a young age and have always loved animals. I grew up with fish and turtles as well! We have a Shih Tzu Maltese mix that is friendly to all fur babies and humans. I am very reliable, punctual, and have always followed through with everything that I do. Rest assured that your fur baby will be safe with me. I decided to follow my passion in life. With that, I took a leap of faith to do what I truly love, which is caring for animals on a full-time basis! Hours are from 6 am-6 pm for doggy day care. If you are late in picking up your dog, there will be an additional $15 charge added to your total. We have a house with a completely fenced in and gated yard so your fur babies can roam around freely! I vacuum and mop on the daily as well! We do have split a/c units in almost every room. In addition, we maintain our property with pesticides that are safe for dogs to prevent fleas, ticks, and heart worm. To ensure a safe environment, we expect that your dog is on flea, tick, and heart worm medicine and are up-to-date with all vaccines.

About: Hey guys, I have two dogs now and I've taken care of cats, dogs and birds since I was a kid. I love getting exercise with my dogs. I know how hard it is to find a good sitter (I am occasionally looking), so let me help you. If our schedules work out I am happy to help out! I work from home, so I am always around to help, talk to and keep company your loved pets. They will be cared for and in the company of my other frenchie's. I have a fenced yard. Within the fence we also have another fenced area in case one of the pets needs to be separated. It's a nice space because it's warm, with lots of toys and covered. We live on an acre, so taking walks is a plus! We allow the pets to sleep inside and we have lots of comfy beds.

About: Hello! My name is Shelby, my #1 passion is Dogs. I have had a Dog my entire life and would love to watch your Dog(s) for you. I'm from Seattle, WA but I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Your Dog will love staying at my place, 3 acres in Hawaiian Acres, partially fenced with our friendly companion pups named Stinkaroo and Koa. "Stink" is a 50 lb rescue dog, Pitbull,Catahoula & Blue Heeler mix who is currently 4 years old, very friendly and submissive. Koa is a pitbull mix who is 2-1/2years old, also very friendly and has lots of energy. We also have an older pup who we rescued off the street. His name is Zeus and hes about 7 years old. He a bit of a mutt chihuahua, terrier mix. Zeus is smaller about 14 pounds, he is friendly but also can be a grumpy old man, very mellow. We lost 2 of our elder Dogs in 2019 to Cancer. Having new friends come and stay would be a joyful experience for all of us! Myself and my Husband both work from home, so we have lots of time to watch after your Dog and will never be left alone. For overnight visits, we are glad to send you pictures and updates Daily. We also offer drop offs and pick ups. Our Dogs sleep inside on a Dog bed or in our Bed. We do not chain up Dogs and prefer not to watch dogs that need to be chained up. We allow our Pup on the couch, but we are glad to follow all your house rules. If you have any questions, just ask! We'd love to do a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a right fit for you. Keaau, Kurtistown, and Pahoa are all 10 minutes from us. My husband and I work from home so we will have plenty of time to play with your pup, take walks, and potty breaks etc. We have a partially fenced in front yard, as well as a gate on our lanai so your pup can enjoy the nice weather safely. Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when I am watching your pup. Potty break, walks, play time, out of the house adventures etc. I have raised a lot of pups, I am more than happy to follow certain rules/routines or any restrictions you may have for your pet regardless if they are in my home or at their own.

As a pet owner myself in the past before being so busy housesitting, I know it is important to know your pets are treated as family and well cared for. Over more than a decade I've cared for different types of pets with differing energy levels. I'm quite comfortable nurturing an atmosphere that is both warm and peaceful as well as safe and secure for your loved ones while you're away. I enjoy all my furry friends smiling at me ready to enjoy the day and it is a bittersweet goodbye at the end of each booking. I love what I do, and miss the new friends I make when it's time to leave. My rates are set reflective of the caliber of service I offer which includes keeping your home secure and clean while you're away so that you return to happy pets and your home ready to settle back into hassle-free. My practice is to leave things better than I found them and treat your house like a home....you care for it...so do I. **I do offer house cleaning services as well** can discuss in person if interested. If you ever have any questions or concerns before or during a booking please bring everything to my attention. I answer each and every request as promptly as possible. Q&A: Q: What sets you apart from other sitters? A: First off, I'm an independent at-home worker. That give me the flexibility to meet needed medication schedules, etc. I will care for your pup in a quiet non-smoking environment. Pets can be anxious enough already without adding in the stress of other factors so I keep the environment as peaceful and calm as possible attentively caring for the unique needs of the pet I'm watching. Here are some examples of specific care I've offered: -Taking care of a 15 year old pitbull with grass allergies who required medicine in pill form injested once a day. -Snuggling with a pet pig.....yes! This pig got some loving from me :). He enjoyed his strolls around town in a stroller like a child and made me smile quite a lot. -Adventuring on a road trip to Texas to a Chihuahua farm (I love those yappers) where my sister, niece and I picked up our beloved "Isabella Clarece". She was quite the diva from birth....she had her own mini framed bed and baby pacifier and clothes. She tucked herself under the covers like a human and folded the sheets back perfectly over herself. Our baby ended up making some very gorgeous pomchi babies later! She was so memorable.... -Attentive care to a dog struggling with cancer. -Caring for a cat post surgery who had a specific protocol to follow after her operation. -Looking after a Maltese with PTSD on a medicine regiment and another pupper that had some severe anxiety and separation withdrawals but really calmed down under my care. -Taking care of Koi Fish -Emergency rush to the vet to have tumors accessed and later the vet recommended she be put down because the tumors had spread....sad story. Thanks to all my continuing clients and for new clients thanks again for the inquiries! Q: How does pet care fit into your daily routine? A: My schedule is flexible as someone who works independently so I can accommodate last minute bookings and emergency requests. I am generally at home with your animal unless I run a quick errand. Overall; I'm a pet lover. I know whoever I choose to care for my pet I want to know they will care for them as I would. When I'm housesitting or stopping by for a visit I'll be attentive and caring as if your pet is my child. I will make sure you remain updated on how much your pet is enjoying themselves and what we found on our strolls and ask questions when necessary. Q: Are you able to handle special requests? I have some questions. A: I understand pets sometimes have special needs or there are special requests and I am able to accommodate both. My experiences have cultured me to the array of special needs that arise owning a pet including as well changing diapers with Isabella when she was on her period or dealing with the males when they get a little "excited". If you have any questions or need to explain some specific requests for me sitting your animal please don't hesitate to ask or let me know. I'm available and responsive most of the time unless I'm passing through a low service area. Q: Is my pet secure with you? A: One of our family pets were squirrels that fell from a tree as babies and needed to be bottle fed. If you know squirrels, you know they are sneaky but we kept them in their cages after learning some tricks. I understand Dogs and cats are sneaky so I practice being very aware of my entry and exit , and I practice a safe leash holding technique as well to ensure all animals under my care are secure. I make sure harnesses are properly set and collars are snug as well. Q: When housesitting how will you care for my home? A: Most importantly I'm staying in your home, so you will return and things will be in order. I'll water plants if needed. Pets occasionally have accidents, if that happens I'll clean it up immediately. I've owned and operated a cleaning business before so your home will be kept tidy and clean. If I leave for an errand I'll ensure the house is secure as well with doors locked and gates secured behind me as I leave.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and im very reliable. Friends and family trust me to take care of their dogs. Genuinely care about each and every dog and the specific needs they all have. I am currently a stay at home girl friend so I will have plenty of time to take care of all animals. Available any time of the day and week!! Please let me know at least a day ahead so I can prepare for your dogs needs :) I have 2 friendly dogs in my yard to keep your dogs company and I can easily accommodate your dogs needs environmentally. I have a dog house in my back yard, a runner down my drive way in case you’d prefer for your dog to be outside, and 2 empty cages if needed. I also welcome dogs into my home. If they’re comfortable I am as well. Unfortunately my yard is not gated and I only have one runner so the runner will go to the first person who requests it. :)

About: I’ve always loved animals as long as I can remember. I have had a lot of pets ranging from a pony to turtles to cockatiels. I have four kitties that are my world 🌏 I’m always grateful for the opportunity to love on other animals too! 🥰 I have been a pet sitter on Rover previously when I was a travel RN in Seattle. I currently work at Krishna Cow Sanctuary and have a flexible schedule. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule. I have been a nurse for the last five years in oncology. I am taking some time for myself to rejuvenate. I prefer getting to build relationships with pets and their people. It’s great for all of us to have continuity of care. My kitties are family and I love spoiling them and making sure they have healthy lives. I also use Rover when I visit my family and friends on the mainland, and know what it means to have someone else make sure that they are well cared for until I get back.
