About: For over five decades, I’ve had the joy and privilege of caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. What began as a childhood love for animals has grown into a lifelong passion and profession. From raising litters of puppies to gently bottle-feeding orphaned kittens, and from grooming horses to tending to backyard chickens, I’ve experienced nearly every aspect of pet care. My journey includes extensive hands-on experience with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, horses, cattle, and chickens. Whether it’s managing the complex needs of a senior dog, administering medication to a diabetic cat, or ensuring a horse’s hooves are properly cleaned and checked, I bring a deep well of knowledge, calm confidence, and loving patience to every animal I care for. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on farms, in veterinary settings, and as a full-time pet sitter. I’ve handled emergency situations, special needs animals, and high-energy breeds. I know the importance of not just feeding and walking pets, but understanding their behavior, emotional needs, and unique personalities. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work part-time remotely from home on my own flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and personalized care throughout the day. I’m a true homebody who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, so pets are rarely left alone for long. My flexible lifestyle allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine, ensuring they receive consistent care, love, exercise, and a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and treated like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my highest priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, calm, and supervised environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship throughout the day. My five friendly, well-socialized pets can provide positive interaction for social animals, while pets who prefer quiet time can enjoy a separate yard or their own space. If your pet is crate-trained or you prefer they be crated during meals, bedtime, or when appropriate, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and reduces stress. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your home and follow your pet’s established schedule as closely as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, bedtime routines, and favorite activities to help your pet feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’ll also make sure doors, gates, and fences remain secure, clean up after your pet, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and keep you updated while you’re away. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, energy level, medical needs, and comfort level around other animals. Whether your companion loves to play, enjoys quiet naps, or requires extra patience due to age or special needs, I’ll provide personalized care that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. My goal is to earn your trust by providing dependable care and giving you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands.
About: Animals have always naturally gravitated toward me, and caring for dogs has never felt like “work” to me I genuinely love it. I’ve helped watch and care for dogs for family and friends many times over the years, and I’m the type of person who pays close attention to their energy, comfort, and routines. I know every dog is different and I’m very patient with shy, anxious, high-energy, or affectionate dogs alike. I am very intuitive with their needs and and some people even call me a “dog whisperer”, because of how in tune I am. I love spending quality time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing outside, relaxing together, or simply making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. I also understand how important updates and communication are when someone trusts you with their pet, so I always aim to be dependable, attentive, and caring. I currently work as an online life coach, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care, walks, check-ins, overnight stays, and quality time with your dog. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals so I’m able to give them lots of attention, companionship, and care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. My schedule is very open and flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I always want pets to feel safe, calm, and comfortable while in my care. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine so they can feel as relaxed and at home as possible. I genuinely like keeping spaces tidy, and I aim to leave your home just as clean or even cleaner than I found it.
About: I’ve had a deep love for animals my entire life, and I find great joy in caring for and training dogs. I strive to provide compassionate individualized care and training to each dog that I care for. I love going out for adventures and will gladly bring your pup along with me! Please have your dog updated on their flea treatment prior to adventuring with me so we can have the most fun together. If the weather is nasty, your pup can expect a day filled with snuggles, Nylabone chewing, puzzle toys, scent games throughout the house, and some basic obedience training. I’m also happy to provide additional training if requested at additional cost. I have a very flexible work schedule, so I have ample time to care for and play with your furry friend! Some weekends I am out of town, so it’s best to book in advance for boarding. I’m happy to stay in your home while you’re away so your pup can remain comfortable in their home environment. I love taking dogs out for long walks or on adventures nearby if they’re up for it. I prefer to bring my dog along with me if that’s possible, but not required. My dog is a medium sized mixed breed named Mulee. He loves having dog friends to play with and gets along with just about everyone he meets!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pahoa
Landa did an outstanding job. She covered all the bases that we had discussed and kept us up to date every time we inquired about our baby girl. When we arrived home Nani was so calm and relaxed as if she wanted us to know that her experience with her new friend Landa had gone super well. We will have no hesitation about having Landa come again for drop-in visits. She was very thorough and considerate.

Ashley was absolutely wonderful! Was here everyday taking care of our baby, and letting us know how she was and giving her belly rubs, which Briscuit loved! Briscuit loved Ashley! Not only would I hire Ashley again but I would highly advise anyone who needs a caring, reliable carer to contact her for their beloved furbabies. Thank you Ashley, you were a joy.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
