About: I’m an active, fit mom who would love to give your furry friend some quality attention, exercise and companionship. I’m currently working part-time as a self-employed baker, so my availability is flexible between 8am-2pm on weekdays while my son is in preschool, with more open availability later in the afternoon and on the weekends. I also have an 18 month old who is in daycare twice a week, so he would be with me if need be. I will maintain consistent, honest communication with you to ensure your pet(s) routine and peace of mind in your home. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old for neighbors, friends and family. These people have relied on me to walk, feed, and board their pets. I have worked and volunteered at National Mill Dog Rescue for seven years where I have enjoyed socializing with dogs in a kennel or play yard, command puppy parties and walks, and have lead outreach programs and events. I have also just graduated from college and am headed to Colorado State Vet school this upcoming fall! I currently just moved back home from Hilo, HI after graduating college and will be attending CSU vet school this upcoming fall, so I'll have plenty of time to walk, run, and play with your pups or kittens this summer! My schedule is currently very open on weekdays and weekends. Home services are currently inactive. However I can provide pet care in the comfort of your home to be sure your pup is enjoying their stay while you're away.

For housesits, I stay at the client's home full time — overnight and through most of the day — so pets maintain their normal routines as closely as possible. I follow whatever feeding schedules, rules, and habits the owner has established, and I ask detailed questions before a sit begins so there are no surprises. I treat every home I stay in with care and respect, leaving it in the same condition I found it. For drop-in visits, I arrive on schedule, spend quality time with the pet rather than rushing through, and send updates so owners know everything is going well. In either case I make sure animals have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get appropriate exercise and attention, and are never left alone longer than is comfortable for them. I'm attentive to changes in behavior or health and will contact the owner promptly if anything seems off.

I enjoy the adventure of pup-sitting at homes all over the island. I work remotely so am able to be away from my place for long stretches of time. While I like to explore the local areas I stay in, I will mostly be snuggled up with your fur-babies typing away. I am a veteran with Rover- In fact I have been pet-sitting before Rover existed using Craigslist. I have a huge love for all animals and am very experienced with caring for different types of animals and breeds. I am patient, and gentle with a huge heart for animals. I understand every household has different culture. I always try and mimic all the rules of the home. Pets not allowed on the couch? no problem. Dogs like to sleep in the bed with owners? I am an expert puppy snugger. Perhaps the best. I will try and reinforce all commands and rules so there is a seamless transition upon your return. When dog-sitting in your home I will leave it better than I found it and happily respect boundaries and house rules. * My property is in Hilo but I am open to sitting at homes all over the island. Why I love dog sitting: I had a Golden Retriever rescue for over 15 years till he passed 10 years ago. I travel a lot and didn't think it was fair to get another dog, but have been pet sitting since. I work remotely so am very flexible with my schedule and love having pets around to love on while exploring new and interesting locations on this beautiful island. My place is in Hilo but am open to doing pet sit stays all around the Big Island. Initial meeting can be done with a zoom call before meet and greet if too far from my area. I can also do house drop in visits if it coordinates with my location at the time needed. Right now I am primarily house sitting since my property does not have a fenced yard. I will match your schedule as best as possible and take care of your place the way you desire.

About: I have trained my two Australian Shepherds to complete nationally in AKC agility. My dog Maggie has been ranked as the number one freshman all American dog in the Winter 2023 agility season. I also have experience with puppies and toy breeds. I have a chihuahua. My family raises AQUA quarter horses, and I have years of farm and ranch experience. I have raised many orphaned kittens and I understand cats. Pet care is my priority.
