About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and turtles. I have pet/house sit since I was 14. I have experience with all ages and needs. Whether you have a high energy pet that requires long walks and a lot of playing, or a pet that just needs lots of company, I am happy to meet their needs. I love all animals and want to ensure they are having the best days in my care. Pet Care is my full time job. Every pet has different needs and I adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets in my care. I will follow any instructions you leave for care. I know it is hard to leave your fur baby and will try and keep the care as consistent as if you were there. I will let dogs out frequently and provide walks. I am happy to send pictures and updates. If permitted, I am happy to bring your fur babies with me to the beach, on hikes or just cruise. If your dog needs socializing work, I will take them to dog parks.

About: I adopted and have been a cat mom for 16 years to my kitty, Chiwi. She continues to thrive and be in the best of health, of which I'm so grateful for. I have fostered kitties, and started to foster dogs 7 years ago. My spouse and I became parents to our goldendoodle Lemon in 2021. Lemon is pure joy! In 2022, we adopted our chihuahua, Miss Pearl, from Aloha Ilio. Dogs and cats are the best pals you could *ever* hope for, I enjoy getting to know each of their personalities and quirks. I work part-time both remotely as well as in town. I have a flexible schedule for pet care, with the most open availability on the weekends. I will check in and understand any routines in place and do my best to adhere to them, such as feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, etc. I will take notes to ensure your pet can feel comforted as much as possible by their preferences while their primary caregivers are away!

“Victoria was such a wonderful walker for our dog Kula. She let us know how the walk went (with pictures) afterwards and I felt very comfortable knowing that Kula was in good hands. Kula can be a bit challenging to walk around other dogs, but I had complete confidence in Victoria's ability to handle her. This was my first Rover experience, and I'm grateful that it was with such a competent and kind person!”

“Austin was great he was very prompt. My pooch had a great time. My fur baby is typically very skidish and at the end of the walk they were best buds. I will definitely be rebooking with Austin.”

About: I travel off island often and can't have my own puppy family, so I will watch your fur-babies like they are my own! I enjoy the adventure of pup-sitting at homes all over the island. I work remotely so am able to be away from my land for long stretches of time. While I like to explore the local areas I stay in, I will mostly be snuggled up with your fur-babies typing away. I am a veteran with Rover- In fact I have been pet-sitting before Rover existed using Craigslist. I have a huge love for all animals and am very experienced with caring for different types of animals and breeds. I am patient, and gentle with a huge heart for animals. I understand every household has different culture. I always try and mimic all the rules of the home. Pets not allowed on the couch? no problem. Dogs like to sleep in the bed with owners? I am an expert puppy snugger. Perhaps the best. I will try and reinforce all commands and rules so there is a seamless transition upon your return. When dog-sitting in your home I will leave it better than I found it and happily respect boundaries and house rules. * My property is in Keaau (Orchidland) about 20 minutes from Hilo and 15 from Pahoa town, but I am open to sitting at homes all over the island. In fact, I love to! I will text picture updates to my clients so they feel comforted that their sweetheart is being loved on. Why I love dog sitting: I had a Golden Retriever rescue for over 15 years till he passed 10 years ago. I travel a lot and didn't think it was fair to get another dog, but have been pet sitting since. I LOVE having dog energy still around... and the friendships I have made with my puppy parents. For my lifestyle it's the best of both worlds! I work remotely so am very flexible with my schedule and love having pets around to love on while exploring new and interesting locations on this beautiful island. My land is in Keaau but am open to doing pet sit stays all around the Big Island for an additional travel fee. Initial meeting can be done with a zoom call before meet and greet if too far from my area. I can also do house drop in visits if it coordinates with my location at the time needed. Right now I am primarily house sitting since my property does not have a fenced yard. I will match your schedule as best as possible and take care of your place the way you desire.

Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy. “Becky watched my beautiful pup Bowswer while I was on vacation in Charleston and she was awesome! Bowser was so enamored with her he didn't want her to leave! He was cared for, she played with him for at least an hour and took him for walks so he could go potty and do his business. I highly recommend her for any of your pet-watching needs!”

Tara K.
“Tara is the most responsible and caring sitter that I have ever known and she doesn't take that trust for granted. She naturally attends to your pet children's needs because she enjoys it. Leaving my fur baby with Tara is anxiety free because I know they are in her expert care.”

Angela K.
“I cannot thank Angela enough for taking such wonderful care of my two cats during my recent 3 week business trip! I had to leave on short notice, and she stepped in without hesitation. Angela came by daily to check on them, making sure they were fed and entertained. I loved getting regular updates and photos, my cats looked so happy and relaxed! It really gave me the time to focus on my job knowing they were in such good hands. Angela is not only reliable but also genuinely cares about animals. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my babies. I’ll definitely be reaching out for future trips. I’m so grateful for your help!”

Jody P.

“I can't say enough good things about Jody! We hired Jody as our petsitter a year ago. We use her quite often to watch our dog Ellie. Jody's house is like Ellie's second home. She treats her like her own pet and Ellie gets so excited every time she goes to Jody's house. It is such a weight off of our minds to not have to worry about Ellie when we go away on vacation or on a trip. I know that she is in good hands and she isn't sitting there missing me. Jody takes her for walks and to the park. I have even had her watch Ellie for just the day when I was going to be away from the house for more than 6 hours. I would highly recommend that you book Jody the next time you need a dog sitter!”

Karl S.
“Karl takes excellent care of our dogs and cats! He always pays attention to our pets' individual needs, and has a calm and caring demeanor.”

Lipine M.
“For many years living in Seattle prior to her big move back to Hawaii, I've had the pleasure of knowing Lipine, a person whose love for animals knows no bounds. Her dedication and affection towards pets are truly commendable. Lipine's journey with her beloved Molly for 14 years stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment and deep bond with animals. Beyond her own pets, Lipine's generosity and kindness extend to others' furry friends. She has been a guardian angel to my pets, Pizza and Meatloaf, caring for them with as much love and attention as if they were her own. Her ability to connect with animals, understanding their needs and ensuring their well-being, is extraordinary. Choosing Lipine as a caregiver for your pets means entrusting them to someone who will treat them with utmost love, respect, and professionalism. She doesn't just look after animals; she cherishes them, making her an exemplary choice for anyone seeking a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”

Javi D.
“Your precious pet will be safe and happy with Javi! She is such an animal lover and intuitively senses their needs. When Javi watched my dog Kalei, I knew he was in good hands. I would 10/10 recommend Javi for all of your pet sitting and walking needs!”

Shelby & Jesse K.
“Shelby is an authentic dog lover. She has raised several dogs and is one of the most caring dog owners I know. She cared for 2 dogs who were suffering with cancer, and now has a rescue puppy that she takes on regular walks and runs. Her pup is truly part of the family, and yours will have plenty of social time with both her family and her pup!”

Kai B.

“Great, thanks!”

Nina B.
“Nina goes the extra mile when taking care of my senior dogs. Give her a chance. You won't regret it. I trust her with my most precious cargo, my 16-year-old and my 7-year-old furry family members. Life with a senior pet is most rewarding but definitely stressful. Finding the right care for seniors is a challenge. However, Nina is up for the challenge. She is compassionate and caring. While he is a happy boy, Champ requires a lot of special care. He has a special diet, meds, and he is mostly blind. Nina has never complained about the special nature of his care and has been taking top-notch care of Champ. Sadie is a little skittish; however, Nina’s calming caring presence has her snuggling next to her on the couch. My dogs are happy when they come home and well cared for. Nina is a godsend, and we couldn't be happier with her services. I wholeheartedly recommend Nina. You will never regret choosing her to take care of your pets.”
