About: I have been around and cared for dogs and cats for most of my life. This care has included walking, feeding, bathing, nail clipping, and maintaining proper sanitation. Being the son of a veterinarian, I also grew up learning the basics on animal first aid, administering routine medications, and caring for senior animals with mobility issues. I currently care for dogs and cats with special needs including skin dermatitis and allergies as well as diabetes. More specifically, I have experience administering sub-cutaneous injections and monitoring blood-glucose levels in cats. I currently work full-time as a research biologist, but typically have a flexible schedule during the week, particularly in the mornings and evenings. My weekends are typically free for any pet care needs. I care for pets based on what the client wants. This includes basic care (feeding, sanitation, exercise) as well as any special treatment the client requests.

“Brittany was an incredible house and dog sitter. Although she has not utilized River long, she has been pet sitting for a long time. During the orientation and meet’s greet, she asked all the right questions. She wanted to know details of our dog’s typical routines and daily flow. She asked to see how Nelson’s harness worked and as well as how he likes to receive his eye drops. When we returned, the house was impeccably clean. She only asked a few clarifying questions while we were away but was sure to send daily pictures and videos of the dogs. Lastly, we truly appreciated the way she washed and cleaning all the bedding and towels, which was not expected. Brittany was very easy to work with and we will certainly reach out to her again when we travel off island next.”

About: We have been taking care of all types of dogs for the last 3 years. We are embarking on a new journey to Volcano in Hilo, Hawaii. In this location we will have more room for your babies to interact with and a safer environment. We are proud to continue baby sitting your babies in our new location if you allow us to. I will walk, feed, play, brush etc. your dog according to your schedule. We will try to maintain your dogs normal home schedule to avoid any behaviour change. Currently we make organic dog treats for Haru when he stays with us. Your pet will be hanging out with me all day around the house and outside in the neighborhood. Taking care of a doggie it will be more a pleasure then a business. I love long walkes, play dates or just chilling. In the house I live in there are two big dogs ( not mine though). One of them is super friendly but the second one is not that good with other dogs.
