“Cathy was amazing! I was very nervous about leaving my babies and my house for an extensive period over the holidays, but Cathy did everything that she could to reduce my anxiety and make sure that the babies were happy. We talked daily and she sent pictures - this as well as interacting with them through the Furbo made me feel connected even thousands of miles away. By day two, I was not nervous any more and was confident that the babies were having a great time with their “grandma”. On Christmas, Cathy worked with my schedule so that I could see the babies “open” their stockings. Cathy even used some home remedies to address a few minor issues that they had been having (skin irritation etc) and went above and beyond in every way - the house was even cleaner when I can home than when I left. The babies are missing Cathy and we all look forward to the next time that we can share our home with her. She is beyond amazing!”

“We are beyond grateful for Tara! She is incredibly patient, caring, and thoughtful with our dogs. Every time she watches them, they are so calm and happy, and it’s clear they feel safe and loved in her care. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals shines through, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have found her. We feel completely at ease knowing our pups are in such wonderful hands!”

“Anyone who knows us will tell you what crazy pet-parents we are!! Once we met Jody, we knew we did not have to look any further for a pet-sitter! She took excellent care of Muppet, sent us daily updates and took care of our home while we were out of the country for 10 days. She is a wonderful and caring person. Thanks to Patrick and her, we were able to have a vacation without having to stress and worry about our fur-baby! We highly recommend her for any of your pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Jody and Patrick!”

“Angela is so amazing! I feel so at ease leaving my fur babies with her. Thanks so much!!!”

“Auntie Dianne is an ABSOLUTE gem! She is in a word… INCREDIBLE! We are so lucky to have found her!!!! She has dog sat for us twice now and has provided TOP NOTCH love and care of our furbabies! She is very proactive with her communication both with initial meet up and during her service! She shows up on time and checks in at appropriate intervals with updates of our fur-kiddos (with adorable pictures of course!)! She is easy going, flexible, relatable and sweet as pie! In addition to treating our babies with the same tender love and care as she would her own, she treats our home with the same level of respect — consistently leaving our home even cleaner than how she received it! Can’t beat that! We can say with absolute confidence that when we leave, we know and trust our furbabies and home are under her competent, watchful and loving eye! She is our first call for all our doggo sitting needs! Mahalo Auntie Dianne! Till next time! 💕”

About: I grew up in a zoo. I cared for just about every type of small pet as well as horses and other livestock when I was growing up. As an adult, I’ve always had dogs and cats running around. Having furry critters makes a house truly a home! I live in Volcano Village with my wife and 5 pets. I specialize and have many years of experience working with reactive and formerly abused dogs. I understand their way of thinking, triggers, body language, unique needs, as well as the best way to approach any given situation. Pricing is negotiable, especially for walks and drop-in visits. Living in Volcano, managing fuel overhead, commuting time, and scheduling can be a bit of a balancing act. I’m open to chat. Having had my own businesses since I was 19 years old, I’ve always had strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive. You can count on my professionalism, reliability, and high quality care that can be difficult to find on this island. Available weekdays and weekends. Morning and afternoons for drop-ins and walks as long as I’m not previously booked. Overnights available for pet/house sitting while you are traveling. Not currently boarding at my property, that may change in the future. Only out-calls for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and pet/house sitting for traveling. Let’s chat!

“Lahi watched Cloud our three year old dog at our house while we went on vacation. Not only did we come back to a relaxed pooch (he suffers from anxiety) but the house was well cared for and clean and ready for us to fall asleep after a long journey home. All of our care instructions were met perfectly. Highly recommend Lahi for in-Home visits!”

“This is Christopher's 2nd time staying with my dog Ikaika. When Ikaika saw Christopher he gave him the BIG tail wag and smile, that's how much he loves having Christopher watch him. You can be confident that your pet(s) will be well taken care of (and spoiled).”

“We are so grateful for Shelby’s help with our two large, high-energy dogs. From the moment we met her, we felt completely confident in her care. She is an excellent communicator, keeping in touch before and during our trip—even sending pictures of our dogs having a wonderful time. Her ability to stay full-time at our home was especially valuable for our senior girl, who needs a little extra support. Reliable and responsive—both rare qualities here on the island—Shelby exceeded our expectations. We’ve already booked her for our next trip and feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you, Shelby!”

“Bob was a fantastic housesitter / dogsitter for our extremely dependent dog, Lester. Lester can't be left alone for more than a few minutes and Bob kept Lester by his side for ten days straight. Lester developed such a strong bond with Bob in that short time it almost made me jealous. Bob communicated actively with daily photos and updates and he took amazing care of the house, even doing some yard maintenance for fun. We could not be happier with Bob's help, we would use him again without hesitation, and we recommend him highly for even the most challenging dogs. He is a natural.”

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I can remember. I grew up on a farm where we had cattle, pigs, dogs, and cats. Not only did I care of my animals on a day-to-day basis, I would also petsit for family friends. This included staying at their home, feeding and watering the animals, letting them out to go potty, bathing them, and giving them lots of love while their owners were away. I have a dog back home, and she is a 3 year old terrier and poodle mix. I am currently in college, but I still have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I have a car, so I'm able to leave whenever and arrive quickly at my destination. Some of my classes are online, so I am able to be in different places when I am in class. I listen to my client's wants and needs and I follow accordingly. With every animal, I will give him/her lots of love and attention. I will treat every animal as if it were my own🤍

About: I have trained my two Australian Shepherds to complete nationally in AKC agility. My dog Maggie has been ranked as the number one freshman all American dog in the Winter 2023 agility season. I also have experience with puppies and toy breeds. I have a chihuahua. My family raises AQUA quarter horses, and I have years of farm and ranch experience. I have raised many orphaned kittens and I understand cats. Pet care is my priority. I wake up in the morning interacting with animals and I continue to provide for both cats and dogs throughout the day. I usually feed after the dogs relieve themselves and then I will also feed cats. I then check water dishes and clean up any messes or cat litter. Then I interact with the pets and check their well-being. In the client’s home I follow all of their rules and take photos of their pets. I own my home. I have a fenced yard, and crates.

About: I have worked with animals from a very young age! I treat animals like royalty (because they are) and I am a good animal reader and comforter. All of my family members and friends always call me to take care of their pets because they don’t trust anyone else! I’m also very knowledgeable about training dogs. Let me love your doggie❤️ I run on my own set schedule working from home as a silver smith, I occasionally have markets I go to, but I’m mostly free most the week if I’m not out adventuring! My home has a nice grassy area in the front and backyard, plenty of shade and fun places to play. I have a fence, but there are some openings and walkways in it so I’m willing to let dogs out on a leash if needed. If I’m able, I love to take dogs with me on walks, to the beach, and give them a fun time. I live with my boyfriend whom also loves dogs. Occasionally I will kennel the dog for small increments of time if I need to go out and do something that doesn’t allow dogs, but I prefer to be with them as much as possible.

Karl S.
“I couldn't have been more grateful to have Karl as our sitter! I have a somewhat unruly, large, and slow-to-trust Staffy, and she took to him immediately! Knowing that Karl has a personal history with traumatized-rescue dogs, it was easy to explain the needs of my Maze. He was patient, loving to her, able to calm her down when needed, and she loved playing with him. Knowing that my dog was well cared for, and with someone who could understand her was a huge weight off my shoulders while having to be away for work. Would absolutely have him sit for me again!”
