“Wow, Cathy went above and beyond. We were in need of a last minute sitter for our dog, cat and bunnies and even though she lives about an hour and a half drive away and we hadn’t had the time for a meet and greet, she was able to help us out! House was left cleaner than when we left. Dog was actually bathed! Even though we didn’t say she’d have to do anything for the bunnies since it was just one night, she cared for them too. It’s obvious she’s an animal lover and really “gets” animals. We’ll definitely be calling her again when we go out of town! Our first time using rover.com, and we are so happy for this option.”

About: I have been hired to take care of dogs and other animals since I was ten years old. I’m very intuitive and observant about what the pet needs. I’ve done everything from train puppies to rescue old dogs. I’ve even had clients requesting me to fly to a different state to care for their dogs while they’re away. About: Before moving to Hawai'i, I created a small house sitting, animal care & lawn care company where I would bundle out services. Home owners were always happy and the animals were too, hence why they always booked me and recommended me to their friends and family which I always appreciated. You can be sure that your animals are taken care of, exercised and cuddled. I always try to send pics and updates so you don’t miss your fur babies too much! I always try to leave your house nicer than I found it as a way to ensure you know it was taken care of. I also am experienced with bottle feeding, horses, homestead caretaking, diabetic animals and elderly animal care. About: I hold degrees in wildlife biology and ecology, so I have extensive training and experience taking care of animals. I have two cats of my own — an orange boy and a silver tabby girl. I have extensive experience taking care of various cats, including senior cats, cats with anxiety, and cats with IBD! I don’t currently have dogs of my own, but I grew up with medium and large size dogs all my life. I live with my roommates dog and take care of him often! I am an avid runner and hiker, so I am well-equipped to take your dogs on long walks, runs, and hikes! I have a PhD in Ecology, so I love animals in and outside of my work! I am currently working as a free-lance research scientist, so I have a really flexible schedule. My cats and I cuddle while I work, and sometimes go on leashes walks. I can make most requests work, including on weekends! I am comfortable with taking care of dogs in your home, letting them out to the yard, and taking them on walks! I can do the same for cats, especially those who need more constant companionship. I am also happy to do short drop-in sessions!

Meet & Greet Required: I require a meet & greet before the first service whenever possible. This allows me to meet your pet, learn their routine and behavior, review care instructions, identify any safety concerns, and make sure I’m a good fit for your pet’s individual needs. It also gives your pet a chance to become comfortable with me before their first visit. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, and any special needs while caring for your pet in their familiar environment. I also take care to secure doors, gates, leashes, and your home whenever arriving or leaving. For dog walks and outdoor bathroom breaks, I require dogs to have both a properly fitted harness and collar. Both must be secure and in good condition, with no significant wear, fraying, damage, or weakened hardware. For added security, especially for escape artists and strong pullers, I use a safety clip that connects the leash to the collar, creating a secondary attachment point in case the harness slips or fails. The clip is designed not to interfere with your dog’s comfort or normal movement. Safety & Emergency Care: I am currently not trained in veterinary or animal emergencies. If an emergency occurs, I will follow Rover’s emergency protocol, contact the owner/Rover Support, and respond to the best of my ability. I cannot guarantee against accidents, illness, escape, injury, or other circumstances outside of my reasonable control. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

During the orientation and meet’s greet, she asked all the right questions. She wanted to know details of our dog’s typical routines and daily flow. She asked to see how Nelson’s harness worked and as well as how he likes to receive his eye drops. When we returned, the house was impeccably clean. She only asked a few clarifying questions while we were away but was sure to send daily pictures and videos of the dogs. Lastly, we truly appreciated the way she washed and cleaning all the bedding and towels, which was not expected. Brittany was very easy to work with and we will certainly reach out to her again when we travel off island next.”

About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I feel like there is no other genuine creature on earth like them. They have a big heart and love their human more than themselves. Taking care of a doggie it will be more a pleasure then a business. I love long walkes, play dates or just chilling. Shoot me a text with any questions 🦮 I currently work just mornings so I’m available daily after 4pm, Monday to Friday and in the weekends I am available most of the time . In the house I live in there are two big dogs ( not mine though). One of them is super friendly but the second one is not that good with other dogs. This is the reason why I would prefer pet sit in the customers house or just go out for walkes and play time.
