I’ve always enjoyed caring for animals of all types and taking care of a home, and I’m someone who naturally pays attention to the little things. Ive done pet and property sitting my whole adult life, primarily in Bend, OR. I also spent time in Corfu, Greece caring for dogs with disabilities who were abandoned. Ive worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, and farm animals. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets and understand that every animal has its own routine and personality. When you’re away, I know you want someone dependable who will follow your instructions, keep your pets comfortable, and leave your home the way you found it. That’s the kind of care I provide—straightforward, responsible, attentive, and trustworthy.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, medications, and plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow their instructions carefully, while keeping things clean and making sure their pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I'm very attentive and notice when an animal is acting even a little bit off and pay great attention to their body language.

Brittany was an incredible house and dog sitter. Although she has not utilized River long, she has been pet sitting for a long time. During the orientation and meet’s greet, she asked all the right questions. She wanted to know details of our dog’s typical routines and daily flow. She asked to see how Nelson’s harness worked and as well as how he likes to receive his eye drops. When we returned, the house was impeccably clean. She only asked a few clarifying questions while we were away but was sure to send daily pictures and videos of the dogs. Lastly, we truly appreciated the way she washed and cleaning all the bedding and towels, which was not expected. Brittany was very easy to work with and we will certainly reach out to her again when we travel off island next.
When we brought Cricket (mini poodle) home from National Mill Dog Rescue in Colorado, she was 6 years old and had been in an abusive environment for her entire life. Brittany stayed at our house for 2 weeks and loved, cuddled played and talked with Cricket and most definitely helped her come out of her fearful existence and taught her that she can be loved and cared for. We work full time jobs so this was a vital element in the emotional rehabilitation of our sweet little Cricket. Brittany is the kindest, most sincere and trustworthy person I know. Period.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, while keeping up with their normal feeding, exercise, medication, and bathroom routines. I enjoy having animals as part of my daily life and make sure their care is a priority rather than something I have to fit in around a busy schedule. Pet and House sitting is all I do, so I dedicate all of my attention to it and am focused on those responsibilities.
