“Béla B was amazing! Our boy Shaka had not ever stayed away at another house and is not very sociable with people. Bela B did such a wonderful job with Shaka and was so patient and kind to him. All the updates and pictures were so appreciated. She even recommended a new treat that she found he loves! We are so grateful we have now found our future sitter for Shaka! Highly recommend!!!!”

“Sarah always does a great job caring for Mochi. She keeps me updated with pictures. Mochi is always excited when she gets to Sarah’s so I know she’s being loved and cared for while she is there!”

“Alexander was great again with our pup, Koa. We've hired Alexander for doggy daycare several times, but this was the first boarding. There was a small mix-up at drop off, but he apologized and worked quickly to rectify the mistake. Koa is an anxious little guy, and Alexander was great with him. He accommodated our needy pup wanting to be glued to him the entire stay. They worked on the computer together, mowed the lawn together, and I'm sure there were countless other hours of lap snuggles. Warms my heart knowing that our little Koa was treated with compassion and support while away from home.”

“We have booked with Natalie many times. She is trustworthy, provides stellar care to our pups, provides daily updates and is 1000% worth the drive from Keaau. She is truly amazing and I wouldn’t trust our pups with anyone else.”

“Rebecca is simply THE best. She watched my dogs this week and won over my difficult to please chihuahua within like a day! She also took them to get their nails cut, which was so incredibly kind of her. Super communicative, sent tons of photos, and the puppies were sad to leave her place after all the fun ❤️”

“Dianne was a lifesaver. First time ever doing something like this especially with my son’s dog since I had to be away for a few days. She walked me through the process and put me at ease that Tator would be in good hands. Dianne keeps me updated with pics and reports of how he was doing which kept me reassured.”

“Athena took really good care of our corgi Roxy in her home. She would send pics and videos throughout the day to let us know how happy Roxy was doing activities with Athena and her dog. They all got along so very well. Roxy loved her time with Athena. I hope that Athena will be available to watch Roxy again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Alayna and Ben were great! They are very experienced and took excellent care of my dog Timothy. Alayna sent me pictures and videos of him throughout the day, he was very happy to be around her puppy and cat. Definitely recommend booking with them! :)”

“Just a wonderful experience. Kandice is caring and thoughtful with her care of my dog Eevee. I felt that she was loved and in a family environment. Just couldn’t have asked for more. Will use her services again.”

“Aly went above and beyond to make sure my dog was taken care of. My dog has anxiety and Aly kept me in the loop as to how he was doing. She sent photos and was in contact daily with me. I felt assured that Frankie was excellent care. I recommend having her watch your dog!”
About: 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through every stage of life, from energetic puppies to dignified seniors approaching 18 years old. My family and I have successfully raised and cared for dogs of all sizes (small, medium, and large breeds). I understand that each dog is unique and requires tailored care based on their age, size, temperament, and health needs. I work from home full-time and am available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I like to take the dogs for daily walks along Beach Rd. Schedule is flexible, but prefer cooler times of day morning/afternoon. My home is shared with three well-socialized dogs (two chihuahua mixes and one larger dog), a friendly outdoor cat who roams our property, and backyard chickens. I have a gated property (not fully fenced, so I supervise outdoor time) with space for dogs to explore safely. Dogs who stay with me will have access to indoor comfort, outdoor supervised play, and structured routines that include regular walks, feeding times, and rest periods.
“I recently boarded my dog with Austin and had a WONDERFUL experience. Austin provided a warm and welcoming home environment for my furry friend, making the transition from my home to a boarding situation much easier for both myself and my dog. He was attentive to my dog's needs, offering plenty of love. The updates and pictures I received of my dog made me feel confident that my pet was in good hands. The boarding facilities were top-notch, with a spacious backyard for my dog to play in and a cozy bed for him to rest in. Overall, I would highly recommend Austin for anyone looking for a dog boarding option that feels like a second home for their pet. The level of care and attention Austin provided was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.”

Many sitters in HI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
