About: NOTE TO THOSE NEEDING BOARDING: My dog, Tiger, is 13 years old and very wobbly, so I'm only boarding low-energy dogs that will give him the space and calm he needs. Sorry for the inconvenience. _____________________________________________________________________________ Dogs love me because I always carry treats. Doggy parents love me because I'm not afraid to use them!!! I provide complementary leash training with every dog that needs it. I also do complimentary training for dogs with moderate aggression and anxiety. My goal is to help a dog get to that point where a walk is fun for everyone involved--the pup, the walker, and anyone that might cross their path. Nothing makes me happier than, after months of hard work, getting that text from an aggressive dog's owner that says "Thanks for working so hard with my pup! I'm not afraid to walk her anymore!" I have been walking and training dogs professionally for 2 years and house sitting pets for over 5 years. I have a wide range of experience with husbandry for other animals, so rest assured that your dog and his lizard, fish, and birdy brethren will all be well cared for while you're away. I'm willing to work with and have experience with almost any animal except cats. I'm comfortable administering all sorts of medicines (including shots) if your pup or other animal should need it.
About: I bring years of experience of loving and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes, both at home and while families are on vacation or on a weekend getaway. I look forward to getting to know you and the needs of your fuzzy companion.

If I'm at your home you tell me the rules for your dog and I reinforce them with your pet. I am open for taking the dogs for rides in the car adventures and walks it's up to you.

About: Use my PROMO CODE: LAUREH40631 to receive $20 OFF your first booking! I’ve had the opportunity to care for and be surrounded by cats and dogs most of my life. Living and renting in Hawai’i, we weren’t always able to have dogs in our household, but definitely cats ever since I can remember growing up. As an adult, I have been fortunate enough to have 2 fur babies (dogs) of my own which I absolutely adore and think of as my other children. They are both rescues and have truly made my life better. My heart is with rescues, but I have experience with different breeds and sizes. Besides my own children, animals are what makes me the happiest! I work a full-time job, but I’m fortunate to have evenings and weekends off. I’m available to check-in on your babies during the weekdays before 7am and anytime after 3pm. Weekends, holidays and summers I’m open! I have a fully fenced yard with a full front and backyard as well as 2 friendly rescues of my own. They love to have fun with other dogs!
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments for over 15 years, including rescues, seniors, and energetic pups. I’m patient, dependable, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their people are away. I’m experienced with administering medication, basic training, and maintaining routines so pets stay happy and calm. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the week. Flexibility is important to me, so I try to make my schedule work around your pet’s needs. Pets in my care are always supervised and treated like family. I can crate your dog if preferred, follow specific feeding or medication routines, and keep things calm and consistent so everyone feels at ease.

About: My dog of 15 years (lab mix) died a few years ago. I miss her, but travel a few times a year and don't want to leave a dog that long. I have lots of love to give and I love walking with a dog. I have extensive house and dog sitting experience with references. I send owners photos of their happy pups while caring for your pet as if were my own. I work at home (writer and online teacher) so your pet will be by my side during the day and we will take frequent walks together, if your pet likes that. I work at home and walk several times a day so I can bring your pet with me if they’d like to go for a walk. I’m also affectionate with animals, and they are affectionate with me so cuddles will be on the agenda. I have a park nearby and access to nearby home wirh fenced where I could visit with your pet so they could run around even more.
About: I have had pets my whole life. Caring for my daughters two boys while she was at work or trips. One was a runner so I had to take extra care with him. I am retired and need something to fill up my days/nights. I am open to long trips and just walking too.I am open to holidays also. I recently lost my boy Maxter he was 14 years with me. I am looking to house/ pet sit. I can provide any service that is needed. Walking every 2 hours, playing ball, bathing or whatever you need.
About: I’ve had about 10 years of personal experience taking care of dogs and cats. My family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to help take care of their dogs and cats. I have experience with big and small dogs; taking them on walks, feeding, and bathing. I’m currently a full-time college student with no job, so that gives me plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available all day saturdays & sundays, monday/wednesday/friday I’m available from 3pm-whenever, and tuesday/thursday I’m available from 2pm-whenever. Since I’m in college living in a dorm I am unable to take animals into my dorm, so I would have to come to your house. I will follow your directions on how you would like me to care for your fur baby.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
